Chapter 469: 213 third-level wanted order

What had Little Hui been busy with all day? He managed to stay hidden in the rest cabin for over ten hours without coming out.

Can his bladder and kidneys really handle that?

Viscount Godoy Saka held a plate of expensive fruits supplied by the ship, hesitated several tis, wanting to knock on Yang Ming’s weightless cabin, but eventually shook his head and placed the fruit on the shared dining table.

He even prepared a bunch of topics for conversation!

Godoy sighed, sat by the table, opened the holographic screen, and began browsing the latest political news.

As an Imperial Noble, caring about politics was always more aningful than caring about vegetable prices.

Online, there was rampant promotion about the Yaha Star Fire Suppression Festival.

Godoy had actually planned everything.

The Fire Suppression Festival lasted thirty Galaxy Days, and his interview results would be out in just a few days.

If he passed the interview, Godoy would directly have Daly bring the kids over for a vacation. During their happiest mont, he’d tell them the good news;

If he didn’t pass the interview…

He’d thank his sponsor by keeping Little Hui company on Yaha Star for a few days, then return ho as a down-and-out nobleman.

This plan was simply flawless!

Godoy glanced at the ti; there were just six or seven Galaxy Hours left before they would reach Yaha Star, leaving just a day and a half before his scheduled interview.

“Phew—”

Godoy exhaled lightly.

He felt a bit nervous.

Instinctively adjusting his collar, he opened his wallet to look at the abundant electronic currency, projected money, and original paper money inside, a satisfied smile forming on his lips.

The matter of selling the title had gone smoothly and was now wrapping up.

Under normal circumstances, no one would suspect whether Hui Saka was his illegitimate child. After Hui left Saka Star, no one would deliberately focus on this issue.

Suddenly, a red banner popped up on the holographic screen in front of Godoy.

[High-Energy Alert: White Ghost Whistleblower Announcent!]

“Wow, he’s at it again!”

Godoy’s eyes glead as he picked up a flat piece of fruit and eagerly began reading the posts and comnts.

The slightly dormant White Ghost had returned to the scene, announcing he would continue to expose corrupt officials, causing waves across the Imperial online world.

Although Godoy was browsing a website not ranked among the top portals, it still experienced a massive traffic influx in a short period.

The heat surrounding the White Ghost hadn’t subsided for years, which actually went against the ‘natural law’ of the internet.

But considering the big things White Ghost had done, Godoy felt this heat was justified.

In this latest announcent, the White Ghost had released a simple video, which even ntioned so rather explosive news.

For example, the official deploynt of supermodified people and Poisoned Stinger Ships, who rarely left the Emperor Star Circle, to encircle the White Ghost and destroy one of his bases within the Empire’s borders.

“I don’t understand.”

The White Ghost sat under the starlit sky, with sad and forlorn expressions flashing on his helt.

His processed voice output his emotions:

“I’ve offered everything to the Empire, yet it chose to abandon .”

“I exposed these corrupt officials, these bureaucratic leeches, and the Empire deployed supermodified people, given significant missions, to hunt

down. You don’t even see these supermodified people in the battles against the Insect Race.”

“The light of the Emperor Star has been shrouded by these dark clouds, and what I must do now is to clear these clouds.”

“The Empire should not be a haven for these parasites…”

In the cabin of the passenger ship, Godoy sighed and murmured, “You’re right. Those parasites have made the Empire’s environnt worse, obscuring the glory of the Emperor Star.”

“Are you watching this too?”

Yang Ming’s voice sounded beside him, causing Godoy to clumsily turn off the holographic screen.

“It’s good to watch,” Yang Ming, half-reclining at the exit of the weightless rest cabin, shrugged and smiled, “I quite like this guy too.”

Godoy clicked his tongue, “It’s rare that we have a common interest; White Ghost is about to start exposing corrupt officials again.”

Yang Ming asked, “What do you think of his thods?”

“What do I think?” Godoy pondered briefly, clearly not wanting to answer flippantly.

He replied slowly, “I think the White Ghost is actually trapped in a dilemma.”

“A dilemma?” Yang Ming looked puzzled, “Why do you say that? He’s basking in glory on the internet, capturing all the attention. Such a vast interstellar Empire is being played by him.”

Yet Godoy said,

“He gives

the impression of longing for recognition from the top echelons of the Empire, even trying to get the attention of the Emperor.

“A few years ago, he was indeed at the height of his fa. He showed his powerful abilities as a transford person, fought against the Insect Race, pulling the Empire back from the edge of the cliff, avoiding severe damage from the hidden Insect Swarm.

“But now, it’s been a long ti since a new Insect Swarm has been discovered, and we’ve foiled the conspiracy of the New Federation. It’s like the White Ghost lost his life goal and his opportunities to appear.

“He likes being in the lilight, can’t stand this feeling of loneliness and disappointnt, so he becos radical, continually exposing corrupt officials.”

Yang Ming nodded along.

Both he and Lyu set up the White Ghost with these characteristics, and Godoy accurately perceived them.

This ant that, thus far, their plan was relatively successful.

Godoy wanted to continue speaking, but his network terminal popped up with a notification, a follow-up from the ‘exposure alert’ he had been tracking.
