Chapter 429: 197 The Rise of Wind_2

He looked at Emilia and decided not to rush her away to avoid giving the teenage girl unnecessary thoughts.

“I have to leave, Edwan, Emilia.”

Yang Ming crossed his legs and spoke with a calm deanor.

When he and Lyu were making plans, they considered using a bionic robot to keep Edwan in the dark.

But Yang Ming eventually decided to tell Edwan the truth.

They were friends who supported each other.

Edwan was taken aback and frowned, asking, “What do you an?”

“Do you rember the dream I told you about?”

“Wasn’t that just to fool ?” Edwan spread his hands, “Becoming the Imperial Duke, standing at the pinnacle of power in the Milky Way… Are you serious?”

Emilia’s face showed a hint of confusion.

Yang Ming smiled and said, “Of course, I’m serious. The current situation in the Luofeng Empire has stabilized. The next step is to gradually annex the three small neighboring countries and then gain greater international influence, integrating a more powerful military.”

Emilia asked softly, “Should I step aside?”

“Stay here,” Edwan said, “My sister, as long as I have no heir, you are the sole heir to the Wind throne. I need you to understand what Ming and I intend to do.”

Emilia left the armrest beside Yang Ming and sat next to Edwan.

Yang Ming winked at Emilia and simply introduced, “Your brother and I settled on this plan four or five years ago…”

“No, Ming, this is your plan, I just embraced it.”

“It’s the sa,” Yang Ming said slowly, “We want to build Luofeng into a regional power, to have so say outside the Sherman Empire’s borders, and maintain a good relationship with the Sherman Empire; this is the path we are going to take next.”

Edwan said,

“We will do this in three steps.

“The first step is to integrate Luofeng Empire’s military, political, and economic aspects. We have completed seventy percent of this; now, what we need is ti, specifically to restore our previously devastated economy.

“With Ming’s help, we have obtained a massive, almost comprehensive set of technology patents. You must have noticed that more than a hundred technology companies have sprung up dostically in recent years, and each company possesses its unique patent technology. These have improved and driven the industrial chains of the seven major economic arteries.

“What we need now is ti to let these industries’ supply and demand relationships beco more stable.

“I will issue a series of policies, including opening up investnt opportunities in the rhodium-6 ring industry. We can certainly achieve economic recovery and a slight boom within the next three years.”

Yang Ming added, “This is the foundation for everything.”

Emilia nodded seriously.

Yang Ming continued,

“The second step is to attract the three surrounding small countries, in total four administrative stars, to rge into Luofeng. This process starts with a military alliance, gradually taking control on an economic level, manipulating public opinion, and repeatedly promoting Edwan’s personal charm.

“Small country politics have many common issues. We can exploit them perfectly.

“After four or five years of restructuring in the Luofeng Empire, although we haven’t eradicated systemic corruption, we have eliminated most of the malignant influences. Edwan’s public support rating is now the highest among the past thousand years of Wind emperors.

“On a diplomatic level, we must rely on the Sherman Empire, and when we attempt to annex the three small neighboring countries, Sherman is more likely to provide resistance rather than assistance.”

Emilia frowned and said, “This will attract international attention.”

“Yes, but that’s not a problem.”

Yang Ming said,

“These three small countries will suffer first; their military has already been undermined by . We are also nurturing Edwan’s partisans within their political situations.

“Next, we will gradually strangle them economically, accelerating population movent between the four countries.

“Most crucially, the rger isn’t directly into the Luofeng Empire, but into the Wind Star Domain’s political and military Alliance founded by Edwan, abbreviated as the Wind Alliance.

“This is the basis for executing the third step.”

Edwan said, “The third step is to change our relationship with the Sherman Empire from a Sovereign Country to an allied nation, or rather, to transform the relationship between the Wind Alliance and the Sherman Empire into one of allied nations.”

Yang Ming continued, “In the future, the Wind Alliance can continue to expand westward and southward. Ahead are unexplored habitable planets, and within the territory, there are many potentially developable planets.”

Emilia pursed her lips tightly and whispered, “Alright, what can I do?”

“You should first grow up well. Letting you know this today isn’t ant to pressure you; it’s to make you understand what our path truly is.”

Edwan raised his hand, ruffling Emilia’s hair with a smile,

“Seeking complete independence for our people is my lifelong pursuit.

“I want to build Luofeng into a truly independent country. Initially, all I could think of was bloodshed and strife.

“Ming gave

another chance. When our alliance becos strong enough, we will have the right to shed the chains of Sovereign Country and vassal state, even if this requires us to pay a heavy price.”

Yang Ming also cautioned, “Throughout this process, none of us should be impatient. We must proceed slowly and steadily. The war between Sherman and the New Federation is a broader context we can exploit.”

Emilia nodded repeatedly.

When she looked at Yang Ming, there was an increased sense of admiration and respect.

She now sowhat understood why her brother beca the Emperor but never ntioned reclaiming military control.
