Chapter 275: 138 Hunting Mont_2

The mature insects from behind desperately ramd into the humanoid life form with the oval shield, their dozens of tallic limbs chopping wildly downward.

Two light swords stirred rapidly, sections of limbs with thick green liquid continuously flew off.

Yang Ming’s tactical helt had been sared with insect blood.

But at this mont, even with his eyes closed, his perception was incredibly clear.

Battle!

Slaughter!

Devour!

Yang Ming could feel the heat of his body, power like he had never experienced before filled every cell, his body, verified countless tis to still be ‘human,’ seed to finally manifest sothing different.

Biting, clawing, these low-level instincts were suppressed by him with all his might.

Thrusting, slashing, Yang Ming continuously improved his efficiency at reaping the Insect Race.

He had no intention of a drawn-out fight.

Fragntation grenades were thrown forward, their lethal effect not ideal.

But the light sword in Yang Ming’s hand, the power surging from his body, allowed him to carve a bloody path through the dense insect swarm!

There was only one target in his sight.

To kill that Mother Worm which could communicate with humans!

During the battle, Yang Ming quickly adapted his fighting style.

The carapaces of these Second Rank insects were indeed thick. Although their attacks were sowhat simplistic, they were extrely forceful, rapidly depleting the energy shield of the external exoskeleton armor.

One of the insects’ weak spots was their posterior where the central nervous system clustered.

Another weak spot was the upper joint of the limbs.

And these were only Second Rank mature insects!

If they were Fourth Rank, Fifth Rank, or even the Sixth Rank battle insects known as true Natural Disasters…

For the first ti, Yang Ming felt that his physical strength was far from enough, his ans of attack far from sufficient.

Get stronger!

Perhaps due to the pressure, a sense of annoyance sprouted in his heart, the breath seed to be stuck in his throat, and he couldn’t exhale no matter how hard he tried.

In the midst of the fierce battle, Yang Ming suddenly stopped, his right hand light sword smashing forward, colliding head-on with the limbs of two of the insect race.

Sparks exploded from the ion beam of the light sword.

Two limbs were directly cut off, the remnants falling heavily in front of Yang Ming, slamming into the edge of the energy shield.

The energy shield flickered and then suddenly disappeared.

All around, front, back, left, and right, the insects surged in madly!

Yang Ming was breathing heavily, his lungs felt like they were about to burst from the effort!

His jetpack was not activated, but his body began to levitate, a faint red light flickering continuously around him, forming a thin red light screen.

His eyes blazed red.

He opened his mouth and let out a roar.

“Aah!”

A wave of red shock spread out from around Yang Ming, unobstructedly piercing through the entire transport ship!

The insect swarm suddenly froze; the dark green light in their eyes quickly faded. Except for a few insects still charging at Yang Ming, most of them started retreating swiftly.

“Boss! Your genetic stability coefficient has dropped to near the red line!”

But Yang Ming gave no response.

Only blood-red remained in the eyes behind his helt.

The jetpack reignited, and Yang Ming, in the simulated gravity field, charged up, turning his body. Like a bullet, he sped past the encircling net, throwing several damaged limbs into the air.

The bridge’s doorway was just ahead.

The light sword swiftly cut through, Yang Ming kicked forward, and the alloy door, wrapped in mucus, collapsed with a bang.

Ahead, dozens of mature insects trembled continuously.

Behind the mature insects was the huge Mother Worm, which had stopped assimilating the transport ship, and Hera, who had her shoulder bone pierced by the Mother Worm’s tentacle.

“Let… … go…”

A weak voice ca from Hera’s mouth.

Yang Ming raised his hand, wiping the sticky green blood from his tactical helt with his glove.

Hum—

The light sword humd lowly.

The Subordinate Ancient God Life Form, now without the protection of the shield, charged again.

“Authorization? You’re asking for authorization at a ti like this?”

Professor Pat cursed as he looked at the projection screen before him:

“Your superior told you to obey my orders!”

“But, respected Professor Pat.”

In the command bridge of the military ship, the Commander of the New Federation’s third fleet rapid reaction force, a middle-aged woman, frowned:

“I can only obey military orders, you need to go through my superiors before you can issue

orders.

“Moreover, the target ship’s landing point has been accurately calculated. We just finished jumping and are not prepared for consecutive jumps. It will take three minutes even to jump there now; you can use this ti to communicate with your direct superiors.”

“Enough!”

Professor Pat yelled, the expressions of the laboratory staff huddled behind him looked sowhat numb.

They were currently in the base’s shelter, still not daring to leave these havens.

The disaster from the past half-hour was bound to beco an unforgettable nightmare in their lives.

Professor Pat picked up the communicator and began to make continuous contact; the ti spent naturally exceeded the three-minute limit.

However, this rapid reaction force was not intentionally delaying; they had already started the jumping coating, establishing coordinates, stabilizing space, just waiting for the military order to be issued, then they could jump imdiately.

Finally.

The fleet Commander snatched up the communicator in front of her, out of which clear instructions were issued.

“Jump the entire fleet! Destroy the target ship imdiately after locking on!”

Over a dozen ships enveloped in silver-white coating rapidly slid into the space ripple.

Professor Pat did not relax at all, his eyes fixed on the trembling projection screen.

At last, a stable image appeared on the screen.

The rapid reaction force erged in the airspace behind the target ship, the main cannons of the leading warships locked onto the transport ship, and the main cannons began to charge quickly.

“Don’t scan! Don’t activate any detection devices! Don’t access any close-range visuals!”
