"Yeah, we are leaving tomorrow,’’ I breathe into the phone. Beau’s breathings is soft and the tone of his voice is calm.

I have never heard him this relaxed in all the ti I have known him. This vacation he took was one that he needed. I didn’t even think he needed it that much.

"You got to be careful Rex; I have half a mind to co with you guys. You might need back up.’’

I nod because I actually think we should go with so people from the pack. Blue wants us to ends things quietly. He seems to think that he can just walk into the coven estate and they will just let him in. He thinks that Analise would just show herself to him easily.

I always think the worst. It might be thanks to the kind of luck I have had. I just know that things will not be as easy as he thinks they would be.

Beau is the most thoughtful person I have ever t. I always knew he would make a great leader. All those tis that his father thought he was not good enough; I always knew that he was.
