Chapter 652: Chapter 594 Are You Proposing to ?
lissa froze on the spot as she never thought that Murray would say this.
For a mont, lissa’s mood beca a little weird. She looked at Murray and her lips moved slightly. "Are you proposing to ?"
"If I am, will you agree?" Murray said in a low voice. Although they were now engaged, the date of their marriage was still far away.
"Propose at such an occasion? Mr. Gibson is not romantic at all. I won’t agree to it." lissa pursed her lips and tilted her head to the side, resting it on Murray’s shoulder.
To be honest, lissa didn’t want to get married imdiately. Perhaps she felt that it was not the right ti or sothing else.
Seeing lissa’s reaction, Murray lowered his head and kissed her hair.
He understood lissa and could naturally read what she was thinking from her expression. His eyebrows could not help but gently furrow.
"You don’t want to?"
lissa was stunned when she sensed the displeasure in Murray’s tone. "No, I just don’t think it’s the right ti."
Murray held lissa’s waist and stopped talking.
At that mont, Claire walked over. Her eyes were sowhat evasive. After a while, she slowly said, "Murray."
She hesitated for a mont before asking tentatively, "How will you deal with ... Adela?"
His gaze fell lightly on Claire’s face. Murray said coldly, "What’s the matter?"
Claire’s body trembled, and she hurriedly pursed her lips and said, "It’s fine. I was just curious. After all, she wanted to fra lissa..."
As she spoke, Claire forced herself to look at lissa’s face. However, she clearly saw the sneer on lissa’s lips as if she was mocking Claire’s current actions.
"Uh..."
Claire felt guilty. Fortunately, she only knew Adela’s plan and did not participate in it.
However, it was futile to say anything now. Claire casually said a few irrelevant words and hurriedly turned to leave.
lissa looked at Claire’s back and couldn’t help but laugh.
Murray took a look, and lissa lazily nestled in Murray’s arms. "I do not know why you have a sister like Claire."
Murray did not respond to lissa. lissa looked up at him and knew that Murray was still unhappy about what had just happened.
lissa reached out to hold Murray’s arm and gently fiddled with his cufflinks. "Are you angry?"
However, Murray still ignored her. lissa wrinkled her nose and tiptoed a little closer. "Are you really angry?"
lissa asked gently and tentatively.
Suddenly, Murray reached out and pinched her lower jaw. He turned around and kissed her as if he was punishing her. He bit lissa’s lips, making her groan softly in pain.
"What are you doing?" lissa reached out and patted Murray on the chest, pursing her lips that were a bit painful.
Murray looked at her with a bit of sadness in his eyes.
"lissa," He muttered softly as if he was calling for so precious treasure.
lissa looked at Murray’s affectionate eyes, and her heart softened. She could not help but softly say, "Can you give
so more ti?"
...
At night, Enoch called for the first ti.
"Marc is so narrow-minded. I just didn’t give him a birthday gift, and he was so angry with ."
When he thought of the phone call that he had tried so hard to curry favor with, Enoch couldn’t help but roll his eyes.
lissa couldn’t help but smile. The two old n fought like children every day.
"I heard that you invited that old man, Keyon," Enoch said.
lissa nodded and said, "I asked Mr. Buckton to teach
how to carve a bracelet and give it to Mr. Marc as a birthday gift."
Keyon announced that he only had one disciple, and that was Malcolm. However, what no one knew was that lissa was also Keyon’s disciple, but he did not announce it to the public.
Enoch nodded slightly when he heard this. "Only you can invite Keyon, but I heard that his disciple might be going to Aldness these days."
"Malcolm is coming?" lissa was a little surprised but thought about it carefully. Julia had already asked him to do the carving, indicating that he was not in Aldness but sowhere not far away.
"I don’t know about it either. You can contact him later."
As Enoch spoke, he suddenly seed to have thought of sothing. He pressed his fist against his lips and coughed lightly. Then, he sat up straight. The expression on his face was very serious. Even lissa couldn’t help but beco serious.
"You’ve been engaged to that kid from the Gibson family for a long ti, right?"
Hearing her grandfather ask this, though lissa was a little confused, she still nodded. Moreover, her grandfather was also there at the previous engagent ceremony.
He clicked his tongue lightly, but there was still so hesitation in his expression. His hesitant appearance made lissa even more puzzled.
"Grandpa, what are you trying to say?"
Hearing lissa’s words, Enoch finally opened his mouth. "Then are you..."
Enoch suddenly stopped, and he only used his eyes to signal lissa.
lissa, however, had no idea what her grandfather was trying to say.
"Grandpa, what are you trying to say?" lissa said with so helplessness.
"Did you do it with him?" After a mont of deliberation, Enoch finally asked.
lissa also did not expect that her grandfather would ask about this matter. lissa’s face imdiately turned red. "Grandpa, why are you asking this?"
Enoch coughed violently. He took a sip of the coffee beside him and said seriously, "There are so things you have to pay attention to. The two of you are not married yet."
"So?" lissa blinked.
However, Enoch said sothing, and lissa didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Murray, who had just taken a shower, ca out and saw lissa holding the phone with a weird expression.
"What’s wrong?" Murray walked over, his body still wet.
lissa shook her head. "Grandpa called
just now."
Murray put his arm around lissa’s waist and sat next to her.
"Grandpa told
sothing," lissa said.
Murray responded casually, but his palm had already begun to move around lissa’s arm and back.
He intimately sniffed lissa’s hair.
However, the next second, lissa reached out and grabbed Murray, stopping him.
