Chapter 55: Chapter 55

I could feel my powers and wolf within , but they were sleeping, healing themselves before they could even think of healing . I watched as the doctor hurriedly looked over the warrior he had just been looking at, the entire pack surrounding us as they waited for their Alphas commands. He technically was the Alpha to this pack now, whether we would leave them to go Rogue or allow them to join our pack was completely up to him. I cast my glance to Wesley as he looked at the remains of Alpha Dickwads pack, a sight for sore eyes. Only close to 50 pack mbers remained, mostly woman and children. None of them looked all that choked up over the demolition of their pack, in fact, a few of them looked happy. I stood up and clutched my ribs, sending a glare to Wesley when he ca running to . "I’m fine," I wheezed out, turning slowly to stand before the fifty before . "Wesleys being Wesley and taking his sweet ti, so I’ll go ahead and tell you. If you wish to co with our pack, you may. You’ll have to prove your loyalty and let Wesley tap through your mind at intervals of his choosing, or you may go Rogue. Now if you don’t mind, my ribs are broken and I’m still bleeding from my stomach. Doctor?" I looked back to a now paling pack doctor who sprung into action, pushing

onto a gurney and lifting up my shirt. Wesley growled a ferocious growl when he saw my stomach littered with cuts and bruises, growling even more when the doctor pressed on my ribs and I hissed in pain. "Let’s put her in the car and get to the pack house so I can properly work, Alpha if you don’t mind getting in the car with ." They quickly put

into the car when I noticed Philip and Jas running to the front of the car. The car started and began forward as soon as our doors shut, my eyes wide with pain. I clenched my jaw as the jostling of the car sent even more paint through my abdon, my eyes trained on Wesleys pained expression the entire ti. "Where Andrew?" I gritted out, watching as Wesleys face lit up a bit. "He found his mate." My eyebrows shot up as another hiss of pain left

when we hit a pothole, earning a growl from Wesley again. "What’s her na?" Wesley was silent as he mulled

over, his eyes flickering between my own eyes and the wounds littering my stomach. "Wesley, what’s her na?" "Ellen, the Alphas sister." Oh that’s fan fucking tastic.

I let out a chuckle just as sothing in my chest moved, causing

to start coughing violently. Pain erupted brighter than before as sothing popped, sending explosive, stabbing pain straight into my lower chest. I cried out, my hands pushing down against my chest as I desperately tried to get rid of this pain. "What’s happening to her! What’s going on?!" Wesley scread as the doctor stood over , moving my hands from my body as he tried to check my chest. We had to have been driving well over a hundred miles per hour as we pulled up to the pack house soon after, the door to the car ripping off the hinges as Wesley pulled

out. He ran

to the hospital wing with the doctor close behind us, setting

on a bed right in the lobby and began pushing

through the swinging doors. Such a deja vu. I tried not to scream as pain racked my body, tears leaving

when they stopped Wesley at the door. "No! I want him with !" "I’m sorry," a nurse told

while she put an IV into the crook of my elbow, sothing cold blasting through my veins as my eyes began to shut. "It’s for both of your safety." "No! She’s my mate I just got her back! No!" That’s was the last thing I heard before I finally let the darkness surround , such a fucking deja vu.

I stirred to that annoying beeping noise, you know how you think it’s a heart monitor because every cliche story it always is? No, my wonderful beeping noise was a goddamn alarm clock. Seriously. An alarm clock in a hospital room. I groaned as I hit my hand over it, hitting and hitting it until it finally stopped its incessant beeping that was driving

mad. My room was empty, an IV attacked still to my elbow. I could tell I was in an ICU room, also explaining why I was alone. I lifted up my hospital gown to see a huge bandage across my stomach and right below my breasts, my eyebrows furrowed at all the other small bandages covering my arms and legs. I sat up slowly and removed the IV, swinging my legs over the side of the bed. I stumbled as soon as I put weight on them, using the end to help right

before inching closer to the clipboard at the end of my bed. I pulled it out as my eyes flashed across my na at the top, a list of my injuries down the center. Broken ribs. Punctured lung. Multiple lacerations. Several fractured limbs. Head contusion. Possible concussion. More than likely will suffer from PTSD as well as depression once injuries have healed.
