Chapter 415: Chapter 357 Murray’s Sudden Arrival

lissa’s heartbeat beca faster. The Luca that was with Rachel should be the Luca she knew.
"Right! I also have a photo of them," the old lady suddenly thought of sothing and said.
"Can I take a look?" lissa asked imdiately.
"Of course." The old lady smiled, stood up, searched inside the drawer for a while, and took out an old photo.
"Found it." The old lady held the photo in her hand carefully and handed it to lissa. "This is the photo."
With a bit of excitent, lissa took over the photo.
In the photo, there were two young adults, a man and a woman. The man was wearing casual clothes, short hair, and a pair of black-rimd glasses.
It was indeed Luca.
And the young girl standing next to Luca was in a small floral dress, with a ponytail. She was tall and pretty. This should be Rachel.
Rachel indeed looked like lissa.
No wonder Luca and this old lady would mistake her for Rachel.
lissa stared at the photo for a while and was even more confused.
Who was Rachel?
Why did they look so similar?
lissa had a hunch that Rachel was related to her by blood.
Could Rachel be her sister or ... mother?
Judging from this photo and the story that this old lady told, Luca and Rachel should have been very close before. Were they lovers?
Then why was Luca living alone in such a cold and remote place like White Mountain?
Where was Rachel?
It seed that she could only get the answers to these questions after she t Luca.
"Thank you, ma’am." lissa returned the photo to the old lady.
The old lady was very hospitable and insisted that lissa stayed for dinner. When lissa left, it was already dark.
lissa walked in the direction of the hospital and into a small alley.
It was creepy in the alley. There was not even a street lamp. For so reason, lissa felt that soone was following her.
lissa turned around. As expected, a black figure was behind her.
lissa snarled, "Who is it?"
The black figure reached out and pulled her into his embrace. "It’s ." His magnetic voice sounded.
Murray?
lissa raised her head. Under the moonlight, lissa could see the man in front of her clearly. He was in a black suit that seed to blend in with the darkness of the night. He looked at her with his attractive eyes and a faint smile on his gorgeous face.
It was indeed Murray.
Shouldn’t he be in Aldness?
Why was he suddenly in Los Angeles?
lissa was stunned. "Why are you here?"
"I miss you, so I ca." Murray looked down at the woman in his arms, affectionately.
Even though they had only been apart for a few days, it felt like a century to Murray.
He thought about lissa all the ti.
"Gross." lissa pursed her lips. But she was happy inwardly.
In fact, she missed Murray, too.
But...
Murray bent down slightly and whispered in lissa’s ear, "There’s sothing grosser."
His charming voice seed to have a kind of magic that could bewitch people in the darkness.
lissa’s heart skipped a beat. "What?"
lissa looked up and saw Murray’s handso face enlarge in front of her... In the end, he kissed her on the lips.
That long-lost feeling suddenly made lissa’s body tense up. She put her arms around Murray’s neck.
lissa’s response made Murray’s breath hitch. And he deepened the kiss.
His desire for her was fully expressed in this long hard kiss.
He stuck his tongue in, searched for hers, and sucked it dominantly but gently.
lissa let out a moan and responded.
Just as the two were passionately kissing, a mother suddenly passed by with her child.
"Mom, what are they doing?" The little girl curiously looked at lissa and Murray and asked in a sweet voice.
The girl’s mother quickly covered her eyes. "Don’t look..."
lissa’s face heated up, and she quickly pushed Murray away.
Heavens, there were bystanders and they were seen! Even by a kid!
It was so embarrassing.
lissa quickly grabbed Murray’s arm and said, "Let’s go!"
Seeing her shyness, Murray chuckled, put an arm around lissa’s shoulder, and kept up with her.
lissa changed the topic. "By the way, you haven’t told
why you ca to Los Angeles? Aren’t you supposed to be watching Ryleigh?"
Wouldn’t Ryleigh find it suspicious that Murray suddenly ca to Los Angeles?
"Don’t worry. I’m here to help with disaster relief work." Murray glanced sideways at lissa. She did not want to see him this much?
lissa was stunned. "Disaster relief?"
"Yeah." Murray smiled. "How can the Gibson Corporation be absent from the relief work?"
"Alright..." lissa was bemused. Murray was the CEO of the company. Did he have to co personally for this?
Murray followed lissa into the hospital and lissa told him what had happened in the past few days in general terms.
"I’ll go check on Nina and Tom first." When they arrived at the hospital, lissa thought of Tom’s condition and her heart felt heavier.
"I’ll go with you." Murray nodded and said in a low voice.
The two pushed open the door to the ward and saw Nina sitting by Tom’s bed with a worried expression.
Harley, on the other hand, sat beside Nina and tried to cheer her up.
When Harley saw Murray, he quickly stood up, pleasantly surprised. "Murray, why are you here?"
Murray held lissa’s hand and said indifferently, "To et my wife."
lissa rolled her eyes.
And she said, "I am not your wife!"
With that, lissa left Murray’s side and walked to Nina. lissa asked softly, "How is Tom?"
Nina sighed, her eyes full of worry. "He won’t wake up."
"Let
take a look." lissa patted Nina’s shoulder and comforted her. "Don’t worry."
lissa checked on Tom. He was still in critical condition.
Although lissa had given Tom treatnt to save his leg from being removed back then, they still needed Luca to cure Tom.
lissa didn’t want Nina to worry too much, so she smiled and said, "There is nothing serious. Let’s go back to Aldness tomorrow and wait for Luca there."
"Okay." Nina nodded. "lissa, Tom will be fine, right?"
"Of course!" lissa said firmly.
Murray took a step forward. "Nina, don’t worry. Dr. Hanson is an excellent doctor. Don’t forget he cured my leg."
Nina finally let out a sigh of relief and smiled. "Yeah. Tom will definitely be alright!"
