Chapter 29: Chapter 29

I smiled when Wesley reached over and take my hand in his, his thumb grazing along my knuckles absentmindedly. The exit for the airport cos up quickly, and my anxiety about getting into a flying tal death trap steadily rises. I bit my lip once we reached the parking lot, Wesley grabbing my luggage from

despite my protests.

We quickly get through and get seated in first class together, even though I rember purchasing an economy ticket. I raised my eyebrows to Wesley who avoids my gaze, as the plane starts moving with a jolt. I gripped my chair, my eyes widening as my heart began racing.

"Emilia, hey, it’s okay." I looked over to Wesley’s concerned gaze, his hand grasping my own. He leaned as far over as he could with his seatbelt and whispered in my ear about how everything was okay, and how he would protect

if sothing happened.

I finally cald down once the plane was in the air for a while, the movie playing before

rolling through my ears as I didn’t really pay attention. The flight was only about 6 or 7 hours, so I didn’t really want to sleep but found myself slumping on Wesley’s shoulder. I would wake up constantly every couple of hours, and almost always found Wesley holding

or touching

sohow. I think his wolf cald

down just as much as I cald him. I finally woke up the last ti to find him asleep on

with only an hour left before we touched down. I looked and studied his face, really studied his face.

With his strong jaw and nose, with his full lips and stubble from a beard, I would sohow have to convince him to grow; because seriously, who doesn’t love beards?

His thick eyebrows over his big eyes that I know as soon as they would open I would get lost in them. He had the occasional freckle across his face and a crooked smile with a single dimple on his right cheek. As I sat there I realized how much I loved this idiotic wolf. After about thirty minutes the seatbelt light indicated, causing

to reach over Wesley and strap him in. I was halfway leaning over him when his hand shot out and gripped my arm, my lips close to his chest. I placed a kiss right on his chest plate in the center, sparks erupting through his thin t-shirt.

A rumble erupted from his chest, causing

to smirk and look back up at him. "You’re telling

what the hell that is all about as soon as this weekend is over." He rely nodded to , his index finger trailing along my cheekbones and my jawbone.

He inched closer, his eyes flashing back to mine as if checking to make sure it was okay; which was ridiculous since we had already kissed a few tis before. His lips hit mine and my heart exploded deep within my chest. I could honestly spend the rest of my life just kissing him, and I would never be able to complain. He was my everything, as pathetic as that sounds it was true. I just hoped he felt the sa way.

We finally landed and boarded the plane, making our way out to an SUV waiting for us with our luggage. The brisk cold weather hit us almost imdiately with a strong gust of wind, reminding

of the fact we were in mid-October. I looked over to Wesley putting luggage in the back of the car, my eyes shining with how much love I was trying to give him. He looked up and caught my eye, causing

to send him a toothy grin.

The ride was fast, but I just stared out the window the entire ti. The lights and crowds flashed in front of my eyes, my eye widened when I saw everything, and my heartbeat rose when we parked right in front of a huge crowd. I gulped before looking over to Andrew, his eyes on mine. ’It’s okay, I’ll protect you.’
