When Murray heard this, his handso face tensed up, and his entire body emitted a chill. Even the surrounding temperature seed to have dropped several degrees.
Feeling the low pressure from the man in front of her, lissa pursed her lips. Just as she was about to speak, her phone suddenly rang.
lissa took out his phone and looked at it. It was Jaylin.
Ignoring the increasingly cold expression on Murray’s face, lissa picked up the phone.
"lissa, are you off work? I’m at the door of your company." Jaylin’s clear voice ca from the other side of the line.
"Very soon." lissa looked at the ti, "Wait five minutes for ."
"Alright." Jaylin agreed.
After hanging up the phone, lissa packed up her things and was about to leave.
Just as she took a step, Murray grabbed her arm.
"lissa, don’t ever you go." Murray’s handso face was covered in ice.
After what happened yesterday, Murray believed that lissa still loved him.
She refused to return to him because of Lily.
Otherwise, why would she do so many things and spend so much effort to expose Lily in front of him?
Moreover, lissa had said that the reason she canceled the engagent that day was because of Lily.
Therefore, Murray believed that lissa had never forgotten him.
He had prepared for a day and planned to propose to lissa again at night.
Yet now, she told him that she was going to attend the award ceremony for Jaylin.
"Murray, you hurt !" lissa rubbed her forehead.
Murray subconsciously let go, and lissa pulled back her arm.
"I’m off now."
lissa left straight away under Murray’s cold eyes.
Jaylin’s car had already stopped at the entrance of the Gibson Corporation.
"lissa, here!" The mont he saw lissa, Jaylin could not help but smile. He imdiately got off the car.
lissa stepped forward. "You arrived early."
"Of course," Jaylin said as he looked at lissa aningfully. "Tonight is the most important day of my life. Of course, I have to pick you up early,"
"Then let’s go!" lissa got into the car.
Murray went downstairs and saw lissa leaving in Jaylin’s car.
Murray pursed his thin lips into a line, extrely displeased.
lissa left with Jaylin!
The proposal ceremony that he had carefully prepared for tonight was ruined.
He had also received an invitation to tonight’s award ceremony.

Jaylin stopped the car in front of a styling studio.
"Jaylin, what do you pull over here?" lissa asked in surprise.

lissa looked Jaylin up and down.
He was dressed in a suit and tie. His hairstyle was carefully designed and he was extrely handso. When he stood on the stage, he would be the type to charm all the girls.
"But you already look perfect now," lissa said jokingly.
"I was talking about you," Jaylin said as he stared intently at lissa.
"? You are the main character tonight. Why should I dress up?" lissa frowned.
"No matter what, it is always right to wear sothing grander." Jaylin pulled lissa into the studio.
Half an hour later, lissa walked out.
She was wearing a red dress.
Jaylin was stunned by her beauty.
Tonight, she would be the brightest woman in the world.
The awards ceremony would begin at eight o’clock in the evening, and it was held at Hawlley Theater of Aldness.
Jaylin arrived twenty minutes earlier with lissa. They sat in the VIP seats in the front row.
Those attending the awards ceremony were all celebrities and famous actors.
The reporters had arrived early. They didn’t want to miss anything.
The host was the famous talk show host Tom, who was also a good friend of Jaylin.
lissa had just sat down when he suddenly saw a cold and familiar figure from the corner of her eye.

At eight o’clock, the award ceremony started on ti.
"Welco to tonight’s award ceremony!" Tom’s voice echoed in the theater.
Applause sounded. Tom announced the Best Director Award, Best New Artist Award, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and other awards.
"Next, the most exciting mont is here!" Tom said passionately, "Who is the best actor of the year? It goes to..."
Tom paused and raised his voice. "It goes to... Jaylin Segar! Let us welco Mr. Segar on stage with the warst applause!"
Amidst the thunderous applause, Jaylin stood up and walked up to the stage with steady steps.
"Congratulations, congratulations, Mr. Segar." Tom smiled and said, "Mr. Segar, you have been the Best Actor for three consecutive years. You are amazing!"
"Thank you," Jaylin said calmly.
"Mr. Segar, how do you feel at the mont, would you share with us?" Tom asked.
Jaylin nodded. His deep gaze fell on lissa’s face as he cleared his throat. "I’m very honored to be the Best Actor today. Here, I want to thank soone."
Speaking up to this point, Jaylin paused.
"This person must be very important to you, Mr. Segar, right?" Tom imdiately asked.
"Yes!" Jaylin spoke in a heavy tone, "When my life was at its lowest point, she was the one who encouraged
and made
stand up again. It was she who had always been by my side. Without her, I won’t be here today."
"So, she is?" Tom asked. "I believe everyone is just as curious as I am. Who exactly is this person who holds so much weight in Mr. Segar’s heart?"
"She is" Jaylin suddenly walked down the stage, step by step towards lissa’s seat.
He walked in front of lissa and stopped. His clear and cold voice echoed in the theater, "She is lissa!"
