Chapter 238: Chapter 180 I Will Save lissa
"Call the police! Hurry up!" Nina was burning with anxiety and took a few deep breaths, trying to calm herself down.
Her fingers trembled as she called the police.
A few n by the side shook their heads and sighed regretfully, "It’s useless to call the police. If one encountered an avalanche there, she is likely to die now..."
Nina roared, "No, don’t talk nonsense! lissa will be fine!"
Everyone was shocked by Nina’s reaction.
Cathy stepped forward and patted Nina on the shoulder to comfort her, "Miss Paul, calm down. Maybe there will be a miracle."
Nina nodded and contacted the rescue team. "Please co here quickly. My friend has been trapped in the mountain and encountered an avalanche!"
The rescue team quickly rushed over, but the weather was too terrible to go into the mountain.
The captain looked at the raging snow and said to Nina seriously, "Sorry, Miss Paul. We can’t go to rescue under such a condition."
"But my friend is in danger. I have to find her as soon as possible!" Nina said anxiously.
"Miss Paul, I understand your feelings, but I must ensure the safety of the team mbers. The blizzard hasn’t stopped yet. There will be a second avalanche at any ti," the captain said in a deep voice.
Nina understood what he said, but how could she just watch lissa run into danger and ignore it?
She didn’t even know if lissa was alive or dead.
Nina was burning with anxiety, and then she called Murray.
Although lissa once said that she did not want Murray to know about this matter or Murray would feel that he owed her anything.
However, at this mont of life and death crisis, Nina couldn’t care so much.
In the president’s office in the Gibson Corporation.
Murray was concentrating on his work when Ryleigh knocked on the door. "Murray."
"Co in," Murray said coldly.
Ryleigh opened the door and entered.
"Lily, what’s the matter?" Murray looked up and asked indifferently.
Ryleigh walked to Murray with a docunt in her arms and said softly, "Murray, there are so points I can’t understand. Can you teach ?"
Murray glanced at the docunt in Ryleigh’s hand. "Lily, this docunt is too professional. You can read so simple ones first."
"I want to learn more as soon as possible," Ryleigh bit her lip.
"How about this, I’ll ask Alex to arrange a senior employee to take you. If there is anything you don’t understand, you can ask her." Murray thought for a mont and said, his voice as indifferent as ever.
"Okay." Ryleigh was a little disappointed. Originally, she wanted to take the opportunity to get close to Murray, but she did not expect that he would dismiss her in a few words.
Seeing Murray busy with his work, Ryleigh said softly, "If there is nothing else, I will go back first. Sorry to disturb you, Murray."
"Okay," Murray uttered a single syllable.
Just as Ryleigh reached the door, she suddenly heard Murray’s magnetic voice, "Lily."
Ryleigh was overjoyed and stopped.
She turned around and looked at Murray’s charming face. Her heart was beating fast.
"Murray, is there anything else?" Ryleigh asked, unable to hide her admiration.
"I got soone to help you rent a new house. When you get off work, I’ll get soone to send you there. See if you’re satisfied," Murray said as he stood up and smiled.
The joy quietly spread through every cell of Ryleigh.
As expected, Murray liked her.
At least, he was thinking about her.
Thinking of this, Ryleigh grabbed Murray’s arm and said with shyness, "Murray, you are so good to ..."
Before she could finish, Murray’s phone rang.
Murray pulled back his arm and took out his phone to take a look.
It was a strange number, and Murray thought it was so comrcial harassnt call and did not answer.
However, the other party continued to call Murray’s phone until he picked up.
After a few rings, Murray frowned and finally pressed the answer button with his slender fingers.
The voice on the phone sounded familiar, with a hint of panic. The person asked, "Is it Murray?"
"Yes," Murray said in a low voice.
"I’m Nina. There is sothing wrong with lissa!" Nina cried over the phone.
"What happened to lissa?" Murray’s heart skipped a beat.
"lissa ... encountered an avalanche!" Nina shouted.
At the thought that lissa’s situation was unknown and the rescue team was unable to go to rescue her, Nina beca emotionally broken.
An avalanche?
After hearing this word, Murray beca worried, and a series of questions blurted out, "An avalanche? What happened? Where are you? Where is lissa?"
Where did lissa go?
Why would there be an avalanche all of a sudden?
Nina took a deep breath before she cald herself down slightly and said, "In order to find Mr. Luca to treat Mr. Marc, lissa went to White Mountain with . She went deep into the mountains alone to find Mr. Luca, but..."
"But what?" Murray asked impatiently.
"However, the environnt over there is very bad. A snowstorm started not long after lissa entered the mountain. I heard soone say that an avalanche happened in the mountains that lissa must have passed to find Mr. Luca. I could not contact lissa now."
Sothing must have happened to her. Otherwise, there would be news from her.
Murray tightened his grip on the phone.
To find Luca for Marc, lissa ran to a place as far away as the White Mountain, entered the deep mountains alone, and encountered an avalanche!
Why was she so silly?
When Murray thought of how lissa had gone to the hospital to visit his grandfather and had been ruthlessly driven away by him, he felt as if his heart was being torn apart by a pair of big hands, and he felt extrely regretful.
"I will bring soone over imdiately." Murray thought for a few seconds and said, "Nina, listen to . I will imdiately contact the local rescue team. You go to the mountain with the team to find lissa. I will et you when I arrive."
"I’ve found the rescue team, but the blizzard hasn’t stopped yet. The environnt is too bad, and the rescue team can’t go in and search." Nina said in a helpless tone.
"Let them find a way to enter!" Murray said with an unquestionable tone and his face darkened.
Nina nodded, "I will think of a way to convince them."
After a pause, Nina raised her voice, "Murray, you must save lissa. You must save her!"
"I will!" Murray said without hesitation.
