Chapter 191: Chapter 133 Almost Lovers
Murray fell silent.
He looked down, playing with the umbrella in his hand expressionlessly.
His silence was the best answer to this question.
lissa felt more and more upset.
In the narrow space, neither of them spoke. The atmosphere was sowhat awkward.
The Ferris wheel slowly descended.
Just as it was about to stop, Murray suddenly raised his eyes.
"Lily is already a has-been. Right now, you are the woman I am going to spend the rest of my life with," he said seriously, his eyes as dark as night.
His voice was charming.
lissa’s heart raced.
"Really?" she asked, pursing her lips.
"Yes." Murray nodded faintly, his tone carrying a hint of anticipation. "So ... can you tell
the answer in advance?"
"No." lissa raised the corner of her lips in a sowhat arrogant manner and looked at the man beside her with a smile. "Two months is two months."
Murray’s answer was sowhat beyond lissa’s expectations.
Although this was the answer she wanted to hear, was he telling the truth?
Could he forget about Lily?
He had loved her for many years.
lissa was a little doubtful, yet she was delighted.
Perhaps, ti would tell her if he loved Lily.
Murray smiled helplessly.
Coming down from the Ferris wheel, the two walked side by side on the road of the amusent park.
The night was quiet.
The street lamps illuminated the long shadows of the two people, everything was peaceful.
What was the relationship between them?
lissa tilted her head, carefully thinking about it.
Almost lovers.
"It’s late. Let’s go back." After walking for the whole day, lissa felt a little tired.
They returned to the hotel. Just as they entered the hall, a woman in a rose-red dress walked straight toward Murray. "Murray, are you alright?"
lissa looked up and slightly frowned.
Adela?
When did she co to Paris?
"Why are you here?" Murray glanced at Adela expressionlessly.
"Murray, don’t you know how worried I was for you these days? It’s such a relief to see that you’re fine," Adela said, staring at Murray with a fiery gaze.
Seeing Adela’s undisguised love for Murray, lissa took a step forward and held Murray’s arm, and then let out a mocking smile, saying, "My fiancé is fine, but does it have anything to do with you?"
"I was just worried about Murray." Adela glared at lissa in bitterness.
She didn’t like seeing lissa being so intimate with Murray!
"Murray, let’s go." lissa did not want to bother herself with Adela anymore. She pulled Murray to the elevator.
Adela followed behind Murray and lissa until they entered their rooms.
Adela’s eyes flickered.
It seems that Murray doesn’t like lissa much, otherwise they would share the sa room.
It must be lissa who kept pestering Murray.
That slut tried to seduce him with her beauty.
She is no one compared to .
lissa returned to the room and took a comfortable hot bath.
In the mist, Murray’s words appeared in lissa’s mind.
"Right now, you are the woman I am going to spend the rest of my life with."
lissa smiled proudly. She put on her pajamas and her eyes fell on Murray’s suit.
lissa wanted to return the suit to Murray.
As soon as she opened the door of the hotel, she heard Adela’s charming and shy voice saying, "Murray, I ca here for the cooperation of the Yale Corporation and the Gibson Corporation."
Adela had pestered her brother, wanting to work in the Gibson Corporation, but she received no response.
She couldn’t stand seeing Murray and lissa go to Wyvernholt. So, she stole the cooperation plan and rushed to Paris for Murray on the pretext of the cooperation.
Through the crack in the door, lissa saw Adela wearing a red dress. Her chest was displaying. Her hair was loosely hanging over her shoulders. Her makeup was exquisite. She had carefully dressed up.
"Is that so?" Murray raised the corner of his lips.
"Of course, I even brought the proposal. Do you have ti tonight? We can discuss it." As Adela spoke, she gave Murray a flirtatious glance.
Murray leaned against the door fra, his eyes slightly narrowed, but out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of lissa, who was standing at the door of the nearby room, looking displeased.
He smiled.
Adela misunderstood.
She thought Murray was smiling at her.
Looking at the handso and elegant man in front of her, Adela’s heart beat wildly.
She knew that she looked beautiful tonight and Murray would like her.
She believed as long as she held on, Murray would belong to her one day.
Adela stepped forward, wanting to lean against Murray. "Murray, can we talk about it in your room?"
Before she finished speaking, Murray moved to the side. Adela lost her balance and fell to the ground all of a sudden.
lissa could not help but burst out laughing.
She walked over with Murray’s suit, looking down at Adela who was in a sorry state. "Do you like to lie on the ground, Ms. Yale?"
"lissa!" Adela looked up and saw the mocking expression on lissa’s face.
She got up from the ground and glared at lissa.
"Murray, you left your clothes in my room," lissa said to Murray affectionately. Her tone was a bit shy and charming.
Why would Murray leave his clothes in lissa’s room, what did they do?
Adela was jealous. Why didn’t Murray look at ? How am I worse than lissa?
Murray held lissa’s hand gently and brought her into his room.
"Murray, the proposal..."
Adela said. Before she finished speaking, the door was shut.
Adela clenched her fists tightly. A sinister glint flashed across her eyes.
lissa, you slut!
I won’t let you off!
