Chapter 820: Chapter 820: The King’s Throne
With his mind now free of the mory space, Kael kept the crown in his pocket space.
He had no real reason to wear it right now and he wanted to test what he could use it to do now that it was like this.
Thinking back, he rembered that he had suffered a lot of identity crises because of those huge amounts of mories. Now, it didn’t even bother him.
He had co a long way.
After he was done talking with N’bayé, he let her go into the Apex Pyramid. He could already see that she was getting drowsy.
Alone, Kael looked up at the pyramid walls. From where he stood, he could barely see the end of the walls.
It was just like looking at a never-ending wall of combined tal plates.
They did a good job, Kael thought to himself, acting like he wasn’t the one directing them and checking up on them whenever he could.
They built it just how he wanted it with hundreds of levels, a few of which were ant explicitly for parking arkships.
But it still wasn’t complete, there were a few parts that were missing.
Especially the Throne Hall which was supposed to be the highest level of the Apex Pyramid.
Kael vanished from his position. He took a step, folding space around him and crushing it to a singular point.
When the space was released again, Kael was standing at the top of the Apex Pyramid.
His blonde hair fluttered as there seed to be a surge of wind here.
Kael looked around and saw that there was nothing here except the foundation for the Throne Hall and the Crystal Throne.
The Crystal Throne?
Kael’s eyes settled on the magnificent piece of art that sat at the center of the incomplete peak.
Ascending high into the heavens and boasting a fabulous appearance. This was the very sa item that had nearly killed Kael and wiped out so many lions in his battle against Ibadon.
The Crystal Throne.
By Kael’s request, the new Immortals had recovered the Crystal Throne and placed it here after the Apex Pyramid was built to this level.
Kael’s feet were lifted off the tallic floor and he casually floated toward the throne.
This throne, it would have been the symbol of power for Empress Elizabeth had she been alive.
Speaking of that, Emperor Zain had not reached out to Kael since their fight with Ibadon. Kael wondered what he was up to these days.
Brushing his fingers on the armrest, Kael allowed his will to invade the Crystal Throne. Soon enough, the Crystal Throne was bound to his will too.
Now, he had two god-level artifacts. The Crown of Defiant Ancestors and the Crystal Throne.
The power of the Crystal Throne didn’t need to be debated. This was sothing that could literally kill Supre Level Immortals.
Ibadon had been reduced to nothing but a fragile vulnerable soul after the Crystal Throne detonated and released all its power.
It allowed the immortals to be able to kill him but it was not perfect. The amount of energy required to do what it did again was a lot and the Crystal Throne would need to recharge for a while.
It didn’t matter though, Kael would keep it as another one of his trump cards for future use.
A crown and a throne, like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
With the throne now bonded to him, Kael turned and took a seat.
The throne was quite large as it was designed for a large reptilian beast. But that could be changed.
As Kael rested his back and pushed himself deeper into the embrace of the throne, the throne itself began to change.
The translucent armrest began to change and transform, becoming flatter with rounded edges.
The back of the throne rose higher and higher into the sky and fanned out like the tail feathers of a peacock.
Forming an arrangent of jagged crystal petals and blades, it appeared fit for the ruler of all existence.
It shrank a little but not by a lot. Kael still had to sit on one side of the throne but if he transford into his true lion form, he would easily be able to occupy almost all the space.
The Crystal Throne that had once been sat on by Empress Elizabeth was now gone, what was here was a throne that belonged entirely to the All-King.
Kael’s eyes rose and looked into the distance. Where he sat, this was where his Throne Hall would be built.
He had his castle, the Apex Pyramid.
He had his Crown.
He had his throne.
All that was left was a kingdom to match his majesty.
His golden eyes observed the countless dots in the distance that were starting to scatter.
Kael’s mind was overlapping, scanning the active lion system and reading the forums and seeing that there was a bit of a commotion.
A few Heavenly Gates were being opened at this ti as many lions who had gone to attack Hive Heaven ca back to confirm if what they were hearing was true.
Kael did not say anything about this, he would let them accept the new reality.
He had yet to see any of his children, all of them had gone to the mortalverse and were with Ozia.
He would see them later. Kael was especially intrigued by Silas, or perhaps, the being that had dared to try to taint him.
After what had happened with Gabriel, Kael would be damned if he allowed another foreign avatar to appear amongst the lions.
First, it was the Sphinx; then, it would be sothing else. Who knew what other heretical and blasphemous monsters would pop up if Kael were lenient?
Foreign avatars were a threat to the stability of the Lion Hegemony. A real threat.
Kael was the first Primordial Lion to experience this type of thing so his paranoia would be operating at full capacity.
If that entity wanted his son, Kael would rather kill Silas himself than let it happen
That was the logical thing to do based on what Kael knew right now.
Which is why he needed to have a serious talk with them. Kael could now afford to be their source of strength for his sons and daughters. He saw no reason why another being would be able to tempt them with foreign power.
Besides, Kael had already been working on a way to allow lions to temporarily borrow power from other laws through the system with him as a dium.
As Kael sank into his thoughts on top of his throne, his body began to vibrate and ten clones blurred out of his body.
Each of them glanced at the seated Immortal Singularity before flying away, each heading toward a different part of the universe with a steely coldness flashing in their eyes.
There was work to be done.
