Chapter 604: Chapter 604: I Know You Know...

Space warped and Kael appeared at the entrance of one particular arkship with Katari by his side.

"All-King, All-King," mphis called out as she rushed over with worry on her face.

Kael floated before the hatch silently, the heavenly wind blowing the edges of his clothes to the side and giving him a divine visage.

"Yes," Kael turned to mphis with thoughts hidden behind his eyes.

"All-King, reports just ca in from a friend of mine in the Shadow Tyranny Coalition," mphis said.

"Oh, if it were important, he would have told

directly," Kael said as he looked into mphis’s green eyes.

mphis was caught off guard by Kael’s intense golden gaze and paused just a few ters from him.

"The news is trivial to him but it isn’t trivial to

because I know a little more than he does," mphis said.

The information her friend has given her was indeed so that didn’t need to be told to Kael as it would most likely even be common knowledge.

But mphis had spent so ti among the lower civilizations of many creatures fifty thousand plus years ago and knew so inside info that most lions who had been in heaven for a much longer ti didn’t know.

"Well? What is it?" Kael asked.

Katari observed mphis with a casual gaze, then disappeared from view, acting as if she didn’t exist.

"It’s Alora and Chloe," mphis said.

"What about them?"

"They are going after the Bears and Falcons at the sa ti," mphis said.

But Kael didn’t seem to be bothered by it at all. He looked at mphis, expecting her to say sothing more.

"The Bears and Falcons. They have already confird that Primordials exist. And they also live in a mixed alliance coalition," mphis added. Still, Kael was not moved.

"I already know all this, mphis. Alora already chatted

up about her targets. She’s also not going alone as she has an entourage of so of the finest tier 6 lion kings from the Battle Born Coalition following her as well as Chloe to support.

Nothing is surprising. In case of any issue, we can just dive down and reinforce them if needed," Kael said confidently.

"Oh," mphis did not know that his knowledge was this detailed, which was her mistake.

Kael might not be omnipotent but as long as a being was linked to his systems, he would easily know everything he needed to know about them through a simple chat or intent sharing.

"Did you also know that the Horse Federation has been dipping its hooves into the politics of these civilizations?" mphis asked.

Now, this caught Kael’s attention.

"Really?" He moved forward, approaching mphis with grace and nobility. mphis swallowed the non-existent saliva in her mouth.

"Yes," mphis nodded, quickly noticing what Kael was doing. She was an old soul after all.

But she didn’t move away, she allowed Kael to get close to her.

"How long has this been going on?" Kael asked.

"Long before they freed themselves from the Shadow Tyranny Coalition.

They’ve been preparing.

The last three thousand years have seen the birth of different Primordials, all at the sa ti.

It’s very rare for so many Primordials to be born at the sa ti.

President Musty, the Primordial Horse is very cunning and not to be underestimated.

He has the sa ambitions you have and you can expect him to be employing the sa tactics you’re performing.

He will definitely have people going after the Primordials.

The Bears and the Falcons may just be the first.

You already said that you felt the presence of another Primordial on the Battle Planet, but President Musty was not there. Neither was the Queen Mother of Bees nor the Dragon Empress.

From the intel gathered, it was said that the horses were the smallest faction in the Battle Planet but they were the strongest.

It was also reported that they moved around with a certain Rhinoceros..."

Kael frowned. What mphis was saying was indeed concerning.

"So, if I’m looking for Primordials, he’s probably looking for Primordials too," Kael said.

"Yes," mphis nodded.

"But it’s most likely for a different reason," Kael said.

He was looking for the Primordials to not just gain their powers, but to create systems with them that would allow him to treat their races as extensions of his might.

President Musty might need the Primordials for completely different reasons.

Not all Primordials of the Conquering Law knew the full extent of their powers, and not all could utilize them the way Kael was doing.

"Even so," mphis said, leaning in, "There would be a hidden battle between you both despite having never t him.

It’s a race to get as many Primordials as you can before he does. And you should expect to be targeting the sa Primordials that he is targeting too."

"Hmm, true," Kael nodded and started adjusting so plans while creating so contingencies internally.

"The Tiger Primordial of Combat is already born, but he’s already too powerful for the Horses to dare go after.

So it’s reasonable that they shift their focus to the Bear Primordial.

And the Cheetah Primordial has already been alive for many centuries now. He was last reported to be going to Original Heaven.

As Felines, we naturally can’t treat our cousins as Vassals.

It’s already bad enough that none of our cousins want to ally with us, we can’t turn every one of them into enemies.

At least, not yet."

A ruthless glint flashed through mphis’s eyes. The inner Lionhood was still there despite all these years.

Or perhaps, it was Kael’s ambitions that were rubbing off on her.

"So you’re saying Alora and Chloe will most likely face resistance from the Horses?" Kael asked.

"I don’t know, but there is a possibility," mphis said leaning closer to Kael.

By now, they were just one ter away from each other and the distance was closing very fast.

mphis’s green eyes shone brightly with curiosity, as if wondering what was to happen next.

"We’ll be prepared," Kael said. Although he said that, multiple missions had been posted on the Mission Platform in relation to what they just discussed.

The gears of war had begun to turn with his thoughts.

"Okay then, glad I could warn you about it," mphis smiled.

They were now a few inches away from each other. Kael was taller so mphis ended up hovering a bit higher so that she could look him in the eyes.

But even as she tried to do so, she couldn’t maintain her gaze for more than a few seconds.

Kael stared at her blankly, his beautiful golden eyes trying to pierce into the thoughts hidden behind her eyes.

"You warned ?" Kael asked, "If I didn’t know you were an introvert, I would assu you were just looking for an excuse to talk to ."

A thin smile worked its way over Kael’s lips, parting his thin shaved beard.

"Why would I do that?" mphis wondered out loud. She kind of liked the ga she was playing as it allowed her to endure in the zone of confusion she was in before she could take that bold step to clarity.

"I’m yet to find out.

The information you told

is very crucial, but you could have just told

through a chat.

No need for you to see

in person. It’s not like you don’t have other things to do.

Yet, here you are..."

Kael and mphis were now inches away from touching each other with the tip of her nose.

"Hmm," mphis smiled, "I like to see your facial expression when I’m explaining things to you," She said boldly as she leaned in a little bit more.

Her bountiful chest grazed Kael’s clothes and it seed like their chests would probably be pressed against each other if they continued this.

Then suddenly, the small smile on Kael’s face diminished, replaced with an indifferent look in his eyes.

"I see," Kael spoke and moved away from mphis, stunning and confusing the latter greatly.

"Huh?" mphis was perplexed, not knowing how to feel right now.

She felt that sothing should have happened.

But it didn’t.

"The last ti soone showed this much interest in , the sa way you’re doing, I expected too much from her.

Turns out she wasn’t what I expected," The All-King said, rembering a certain ti he and a black winged lioness scoured through the land of the Iron Blood Dinsion in search of a Heavenly Beacon.

He was of course referring to Chloe.

Chloe’s case had been rather disappointing, although she was catching up lately and making a little more effort ever since Alora joined.

Iron sharpened iron.

Kael wasn’t going to waste his ti on anyone who hadn’t yet proven themself.

"Oh, what does that have to do with ?" mphis asked, still playing dumb till the end.

Kael shrugged his shoulders, "There are still a lot of Primordials to be caught and a lot of potential consorts to select from.

I’ll be busy.

If there’s nothing else, I’ll see you when I get back," Kael said and turned into a golden beam that dove into the hatch of the readied arkship.

mphis was left floating there, staring at the gargantuan vessel with a feeling of emptiness.

She was smart so she was able to hear the implied aning in Kael’s words.

The All-King wouldn’t waste his ti on soone who wasn’t worthy, not again.
