Chapter 507: Chapter 507: The Diversion

"Please, stop that?" Kael’s irritated voice ca from the corner of the room.

mphis paused her sniffing, her green eyes gleaming with curiosity. She turned her head to see Kael quietly sitting on one of the pillow sofas in a slightly relaxed manner.

He wasn’t looking at mphis or Exalon, instead, his eyes were focused on the golden screen before him.

mphis could not see the golden screen so she thought at first that Kael was just ignoring her presence.

But she noticed that his eyes moved from left to right and up to down, and his fingers twitched occasionally.

He was clearly doing sothing but she could not see it.

"He’s working," Exalon said, filling her in vaguely.

mphis tilted her head, "Working? On what?"

"The system," Exalon answered.

"Is that what links you all together?" mphis asked.

"Yes," Exalon nodded.

"Oh," mphis then walked over to Kael, completely ignoring Exalon’s subtle warning.

Perhaps her ti in solitude had made her forget basic etiquette.

Exalon frowned, "He’s busy."

mphis did not answer, she walked over until she stood directly in front of Kael. Her figure overlapped with the golden screens in Kael’s vision.

Kael still did not pay attention to her, he continued modifying the features.

"mphis," Kael muttered. From the discussion going on in the system chat, he was able to learn who this person was.

"Primordial," mphis nodded her head. Although she had seen him multiple tis in her visions before, he looked sowhat different up close.

Those visions never showed how intense his eyes were, or how much ruthlessness was concentrated on his forehead. Those were things she was starting to see now.

And his aura. mphis felt the oppression and the false pressure. She felt like she was standing before a universal dominator.

Of course, this was just a feeling and had very little effect on her mood or mode of thinking.

"I would treat you with courtesy but you haven’t really shown respect since you arrived," Kael said as he narrowed his eyes.

He waved his hand and caused the golden screens that only he could see to disappear.

Now, he was able to focus all his gaze on mphis. Her wavy blonde hair, her mature face, her deep green eyes.

Ti seed to be moving differently around her, Kael noticed. He observed that there was a bit of lag between what was happening in the room and what was happening outside.

The chats from the others on the outside were flowing slightly faster than normal.

It made Kael wonder, if this was what happened due to just her presence, how did she feel herself?

Kael could imagine that mphis was observing the world in slow motion. Everything would probably be moving a bit slowly for her and only a few could match her speed.

However, the awareness of how powerful she was did not give Kale the notion that he was to respect her at all.

He had listened to the conversation between her and Exalon when Exalon still had his Conqueror Mode Avatar.

mphis said it herself, she didn’t co to see Kael. She had rely co to show her presence and observe what was happening.

And from the way she has been treating Exalon, it was clear that she didn’t hold Kael in any regard.

Who could bla her, she had seen a lot and lived through history multiple tis, one more Primordial Lion, that was how she saw Kael.

Just another active chess piece in the universe.

"I care little about courtesy, Kael," mphis said solemnly.

"Hmm,"

"You wanted to see ," mphis said.

Kael blinked, then gestured for mphis to take a seat.

mphis shook her head, "I’ve been sitting down for a long ti, I’d rather stand now. It’s nothing personal," She said.

"Okay.

Do you agree with Ma’abu on his vision?" Kael asked.

mphis narrowed her eyes. She could sense Kael’s killing intent spike as he waited for her question. She wondered just what he would do if she gave the wrong answer.

She was a little amused. mphis knew that there was a really large difference between soone like her and soone like King Vander.

King Vander was a fortune lion, it was normal for him to be outcompeted and killed after being sward like that.

But if it were mphis or any other tier 7 lions that were more combat-related, it would be a whole different case.

Exalon, for example, had briefly gained the power level of a tier 7 and was able to strike arkships with his bare hands.

He was able to fight back, sothing King Vander couldn’t have done.

Exalon’s power was more direct, those like mphis whose powers were hard to understand were even more dangerous.

That Kael was thinking of fighting her was a bit laughable to mphis.

"It depends on what part of his vision you’re talking about," mphis said.

The lights from the ceiling seed to dim all of a sudden and the room beca a bit dark for a mont.

This wasn’t Kael, it was Exalon. He was connected to the pyramid and could naturally control everything subconsciously.

Exalon stood at the entrance of the room, his towering form seed to cast a dark shadow over the whole room. His piercing eyes were focused entirely on mphis.

mphis glanced at him for a mont then returned her gaze to Kael.

Kael also had a serious expression on his face.

"It depends?" Kael asked, raising one eyebrow in a threatening manner.

Ma’abu’s vision was the extermination of all Primordials like Kael. That vision was a direct threat to his life.

How could he sit still when mphis says that ’it depends’?

"Yes, it depends.

Isn’t it his wish to exterminate you, the Primordial Lion?

It is, and in extension, he’ll probably bleed that vision into other creatures.

You are the Primordial Lion, your Supporters depend on you, so it’s normal for you all to be antagonistic toward him.

But if you look at it from a neutral perspective, Ma’abu is just trying to ensure the safety and future of the lion race.

And in his eyes, a Primordial Lion is more of a threat to the lions than any other thing.

So yes, it depends. I agree with the fact that a Primordial Lion like you is a threat to the lion race...

But..."

mphis paused, a playful look in her eyes. She had expected sothing to happen as soon as she said that but nothing happened.

Kael rely continued looking at her, waiting for her to finish talking. Exalon did the sa thing.

"But, he’s going about it the wrong way.

Soone exactly like him appeared during the ti of Jim the Purger.

It was to be expected with the way Jim was going about his activities.

But that lion did not last as long as Ma’abu did. He was eliminated very quickly actually.

Ma’abu is the only lion that has ever opposed a Primordial Lion for this long and has actually made progress.

It is safe to say that fate is partially on his side, Kael.

It is also safe to say that he might succeed..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Isn’t that what you want?" Kael asked.

"No," Ma’abu said.

"Normally, I would not interfere in this type of thing. But you all got

involved the mont you began to think of eting .

Fate would not let

rest until I did sothing.

Both you and Ma’abu are doing so extre things.

If this continues, not only will both of you not get what you want, but you will also create more problems for later generations.

Kael, all the mistakes of the last seven Primordial Lions, you were about to make all of them at once in this era.

It wouldn’t have been exactly as they did it, but the consequences would have been the sa.

And Ma’abu? He’s going to cause more harm to the lion race than he imagines. He’s too blinded by his grandiose vision to see it.

So, sothing must be done.

Unless a diversion occurs, history will replay itself," mphis explained.

Kael had a strong feeling that mphis was not saying all she knew.

"I’ll make mistakes?" Kael asked, not to mphis, but to himself.

’I have their mories, I know where they went wrong. How could I make mistakes?

That’s unlikely...

But...not impossible.’

Kael was a little lost in his thoughts. He had been careful of all the steps he took and didn’t imagine that he would end up following the sa paths.

mphis even said that he was about to make all their mistakes at the sa ti in one era.

How catastrophic could that be?

Sothing like that would really justify Ma’abu’s cause.

"How do you know this?" Kael asked skeptically, "Why would you expect

to believe you?"

"You’re mistaken, Primordial. I don’t want you to believe , that’s your choice.

You already felt uncomfortable when I tried to sniff your past not long ago, a little bit of thinking should tell you I could do much more.

Irrespective of whether you believe or align or understand or think, what is ant to happen will eventually happen.

History will repeat itself unless there is a diversion."

mphis looked down at the floor and her green eyes shone again.

"You keep saying that history will repeat itself unless there is a diversion.

What diversion?" Kael asked with annoyance.

mphis sighed.

"Indeed. That’s why I ca here to show my presence.

Kael, I am the diversion."
