Chapter 494: Chapter 494: You Admire
Kael: Ma’abu should be preparing for sothing big, that’s why he hasn’t shown himself since.
It’s hard to prepare for sothing we can’t see.
Exalon: I hope he doesn’t do sothing that will damage all we’ve built.
Kael: Hope is useless in this situation, let’s keep getting stronger and label all of his cohorts as sinners.
Exalon: Splendid thought process, All-King.
Kael: What are you talking about? You’re the one who usually thinks like that when we’re talking.
Exalon: I know, that’s why I said it was a splendid thought process.
Kael: Oh, you gave
the feeling of talking to a butler who was flattering
too much.
Exalon: What is a butler?
Kael: Butler? It’s like... Never mind. Or...
A butler is like your most loyal Vassal subordinate.
Your right hand, your assistant.
Or your retainer.
Exalon: Am I your right hand, or assistant?
Kael: No.
Exalon: Oh.
Kael: You’re a delegate, an important power node in the pursuit of our goals. Your efforts will be wasted if you beco my assistant.
Exalon: Oh, that makes sense.
Shouldn’t you have an assistant then?
Kael: I’ve always had assistants.
Exalon: Really? Who are they?
Kael: My consorts, they are my assistants.
Exalon: Oh, I never saw my own consorts that way.
Kael: Whatever works for you, Exalon.
Exalon: Okay then, we’ll be keeping an eye out for any suspicious activity.
Kael: By the way, have you tasted the honey from the Bees? How is it?
Exalon: Unfortunately, I haven’t. But I did hear that the honey tastes magnificent and extraordinary.
Rumor spreaders say that the honey gives extraordinary effects after it has been taken.
I don’t know how to confirm this as the Bees are not particularly interested in giving out their honey unless you steal it.
And with the terrifying hive mind they have in place, stealing from any bees is the last thing we should be thinking of at the mont.
Kael: Speaking of assistants and other creatures. It is high ti we start the Vassal Fusion.
Just in case.
Exalon: Okay.
...
Kael blinked his eyes and returned his attention to the room he was in.
Shawty and Alora were still waiting by the side with Shawty still standing.
Shawty was engaging Alora in her rants and Alora just kept a cool, calm, and collected deanor.
When Kael turned his head toward them, they both noticed and looked back at him.
Once again, Shawty rushed up to Kael and bowed excessively.
"Greetings All-King," Shawty said, exposing the cleavage of her dangling breasts as she bowed.
Kael’s golden gaze naturally wandered to that side, but he didn’t put too much thought into it.
Kael wasn’t the slightest bit attracted to Shawty at the mont.
His mind was still on other things, he wasn’t fully present in the room with them.
After all, compared to all that was happening, whatever reason they had for eting within was inconsequential.
"Greetings, you must be Shawty, Alora’s friend," Kael said calmly.
Shawty nodded her head like a chicken pecking the ground for rice. "Yes, I am actually. I was there when you possessed her body and fought her father."
Kael smiled, "That’s good. It’s good that you decided to join our side and not the side of the sinners."
"I would never do such a thing, All-King," Shawty said, stylishly moving closer to Kael as she swayed her curvy hips from left to right.
"Did you two only co here to visit
and say hello?" Kael asked as he turned away from Shawty and looked at Alora.
Shawty frowned. She was directly in front of Kael, trying to seduce him. But he didn’t really seem that interested.
Alora, who was the receiver of Kael’s gaze, nodded her head.
"After I heard that you ca to heaven, I felt that it was only right that I co and greet you personally and also thank you for saving .
If not for you, my father would have successfully destroyed
with that Destruction Essence."
Alora’s words were reasonable, Kael nodded.
"Is that all?" Kael asked.
Alora blinked, "Yes, that is all," She said.
Kael smirked, flexing his chest slightly as he prepared to stand up.
"Then why do you keep studying ?" Kael asked.
"Huh?" Alora tilted her head, confused.
Shawty also looked at Alora, although she was looking at her for a different reason.
"You’ve been observing , studying the words I say and how I say them. You pay attention to my aura and how I release it.
I could literally feel your gaze all over my body earlier.
Do you find
that interesting?" Kael asked.
Alora was caught off guard, not knowing how to respond to such accusations. But she quickly recovered herself and returned to her usual self.
"I was rely learning," She said lightly.
"Learning?" Kael chuckled, "You were admiring. Admit it. "
A flat smile crept on Alora’s face, this was as good as a smile for her.
anwhile, Shawty was standing in front of Kael, ignored and confused about what she should do now.
"All-King, what makes you think I would admire you?
You assu soone like
could find sothing admirable in soone like you?"
Alora had a psychological limit to how far she could keep her humility. Past a certain stage, she would challenge even a tier 7 just to defend her ego.
That was where she was right now. Triggered by Kael’s words, she felt the need to stomp down on Kael’s confidence and prove to him that she was different.
"Of course, there’s sothing to be admired in ," If Kael was upset with the new tone Alora used to talk to him, he didn’t show it.
"Everyone has sothing to admire in , including you.
You may deny it all you want, act high and mighty, feel like you are the most important being in the world..."
Kael’s words wiped the smile off Alora’s face. Kael didn’t know her like that, he wasn’t supposed to know her like that.
The only explanation was that he had felt her personality type after that Conqueror Mode Avatar.
"...It doesn’t change the fact that you admire , Alora." Kael continued, taking a very dominant and provocative tone.
"You don’t just admire , you want to be like ..."
