Chapter 406: Chapter 406: Wolf Pulse
While the Void Spill Galaxy was being consud by Ibadon, Kael’s arkship had long left and traveled far.
From the very mont the distortion field was turned off, Kael had driven the arkship away.
Noel, the creator of the arkship, had created it for one specific purpose, stealth.
The arkship was heavily modified in favor of stealth and being discreet in its travel.
Chloe’s grandfather had positioned his arkship above Eridoria, a plot to fool the lion kings of the Anti-Primordial Coalition.
The distortion field was then deactivated without warning, causing the many arkships that still had their warp engines on to experience devastating accidents.
anwhile, Exalon and the Primordial Supporters were positioned outside the star system and readied their own ans.
This was the ’simple’ plan Kael and so Lion Kings had co up with and they had seen it through to the end.
Exalon and his crew were never trying to find the Primordial Lion first, it was clear that Kael didn’t want to show himself at the mont.
Not until he had destroyed most of his enemies from the shadows.
The Anti-Primordials had been sowhat reckless and walked right into the trap.
While the search was happening, Kael’s arkship had been hidden from everyone’s sight.
Being stealthy alone was not enough though. With so many warp signals bouncing everywhere, the gap in space was bound to be detected.
That was why Chloe’s grandfather was used as bait to distract them and draw the enemy’s attention. In the confusion of the accidents and the sudden ambush, they were too distracted and could only focus on Chloe’s grandfather’s arkship which was releasing a Primordial pulse.
Only then was Kael able to confidently slip away under everyone’s gaze.
By the ti Ibadon had acted, he was already out of the galaxy and heading in a particular direction.
Kael was tempted to go to heaven. After all, they just won a significant victory in the first-ever battle, and support for him should be rising.
But he also realized that it was better to play it safe with an entity like Ibadon around.
Inside his chamber of command, Kael shivered, trying to calm his paranoia.
He had just witnessed the Void Spill Galaxy disappear into nothingness like it never existed.
Kael, a tier 5 lion couldn’t fathom that power.
He was frightened, anyone would be frightened.
Ibadon just proved to Kael how dangerous he was.
Kael wasn’t safe if both of them were in the sa galaxy.
Kael wasn’t even sure he would be safe if he went to heaven. Sakan and other dragons had once barged into Leonine Heaven before, who is to say that Ibadon could not do the sa thing?
Swallowing a whole galaxy just to catch him, that dedication, that power. It amazed Kael and also urged him to stay as far away as possible.
Ibadon would not stop hunting him down, Kael knew this.
Ibadon alone was millions of tis more dangerous than the Anti-Primordial Coalition.
At least, Kael felt that he could use battle strategies to fight the civil war. But Ibadon was different.
No strategy could beat an all-encompassing entity of oblivion.
Ibadon had been fooled once, that was Kael’s luck.
Whether Kael could continue to depend on this luck remained uncertain.
’The String Of Fate Coalition,’ Kael thought, rembering one of the Lion civilization’s pillar coalitions responsible for managing the fate of the lion race.
’Perhaps, I can redirect it...’ Kael muttered.
He stepped down from his pillow throne, still in his humanoid form.
In the command chamber with him were a few hundred lions and their consorts, monitoring different screens.
Now that they were far from the abomination, Kael delegated control of the arkship to them.
The stealth barrier was active, although not as powerful as the spatial barrier, it was still effective at hiding their presence.
Kael had a calm expression on his face, acting like he wasn’t the one a god-like entity was trying to kill.
’What did I do to deserve this,’ Kael lanted in his heart while shaking his head with a dejected look in his eyes.
"Ah, yes, Commander Bibi, you were saying sothing," Kael spoke to the large burly man in front of him.
Besides the many lions and lionesses busy with their screens, other important mbers of the kingdom were present.
All of Kael’s consorts were here, along with so caste leaders like Marcus, Bibi, Vixy, and Kurse.
Among his consorts, different emotions could be felt. Chloe was especially not herself at this ti.
Seeing Chloe like this, Kael didn’t say anything. The last ssage her grandfather had sent to her was a congratulatory ssage added with so instructions asking her to never abandon the Primordial Lion.
Her grandfather was dead. Although their personal relationship was never that close, he was her grandfather nonetheless.
Katari was the most tense at this ti. She squeezed her fist hard, replaying the image of that imnse black hole consuming the entire galaxy in her mind.
Kael brought his focus to Commander Bibi who had told him sothing very interesting not long ago.
Commander Bibi bowed, "Your Majesty, we detected a pulse not so long ago.
All the wolves I’ve asked have detected the sa thing. We have reason to believe that it is our Primordial as you have described."
Kael smiled, this news was like a breath of fresh air. It was too small to distract him from the fact that Ibadon was out to destroy him, but it comforted him a bit.
"Describe the direction for them so that they can chart a course. We’ll use the map we have to locate the nearest galaxy with life.
If you guys could feel it, it might be closer than we think.
This is good," Kael’s smile was beaming.
He walked past Bibi and went over to Chloe. Seeing the tall blonde-haired golden-eyed handso humanoid standing in front of her, Chloe remained silent.
Kael raised his hand, causing Chloe to flinch.
Kael raised an eyebrow, wondering if he was that scary. Either way, he placed his hand on Chloe’s shoulder in a comforting manner.
Chloe’s heart ward. Crying was a sign of weakness and she assud that Kael did not like it. She thought Kael was about to hit her for being weak.
Luckily, Kael was reasonable and didn’t take offense. He didn’t bother explaining to her that he didn’t care if she cried or not.
"If the universe turns in my favor, if, very big if, I’ll take revenge for you," Kael said with a comforting smile.
Chloe chuckled then nodded her head.
It was a very big IF.

"Regent..." Imperial Guard Voldemort personally ca out of his arkship along with the Imperial officials who piloted the other arkships.
To escort Regent Ibadon, ten dragon Imperial Officials, the equivalent of Lion Kings for the dragon civilization, had been chosen.
Out of the ten, Imperial Guard Voldemort held the highest position and was closest to the Dragon Empress so he was naturally the second in command.
The ten dragons, all of different colors and shapes, floated in the empty darkness, waiting for the regent.
The galaxy-wide black hole rapidly shrank and converged to form the body of a dragon-lion hybrid.
Ibadon’s reptilian eyes observed the world for what it truly was, an orderly system of universal laws.
In his eyes, everything, from space, ti, and nothingness, to mundane things like hunger, love, and civilizations, were a joint manifestation of many laws.
A galaxy was gone, one that he had devoured in hope of catching the Primordial Lion.
To him, a galaxy was nothing but a bunch of laws coming together to make sense, so what if he destroyed it?
The gods would barely notice.
It was the sa way a programr would see an open-world simulation ga. To him or her, the virtual world was nothing but a bunch of code strings with ones and zeros.
Voldemort and the other dragons watched as Ibadon took a step forward with his front paw, warping space and ti to appear right in front of them.
"Regent Ibadon, did you get him?" Voldemort asked.
Ibadon glanced at Voldemort, a strange look in his eyes. Voldemort could have sworn that he sensed annoyance from Ibadon.
"No," Ibadon responded.
Voldemort and the other dragons gulped, bringing down their gaze to avoid looking at Ibadon directly in the eye.
"This Primordial Lion," Ibadon’s voice was cool, but his annoyance bled into the reality around him.
As he spoke, visible cracks appeared and disappeared in the space around him.
"He actually fooled
twice," Ibadon said.
Voldemort shook his head with vigor, flapping his large green wings and moving forward, "I doubt that Regent Ibadon, I suspect that he was just prepared and had probably left long before you even made an appearance.
While everyone was distracted, the Primordial Lion used the chaos to slip out,"
The other Imperial officials nodded their heads, genuinely agreeing with Voldemort.
No trickery could escape Ibadon’s power, the only explanation was that the Primordial Lion had made a run for it earlier than they thought.
Ibadon mused over Voldemort’s words and nodded. Indeed, that was a reasonable explanation.
He looked at Voldemort, "Make a report to the Dragon Empress, I want all the Dragon Imperial Officials active in the search for the Primordial Lion, all of them.
Let’s not give the Primordial Lion any chance to rest or grow,"
