Chapter 359: Chapter 359: Intoxicated Bosses

"A lot of the chambers had once been populated by creatures from different civilizations. They must have benefited from the advanced technology of the lions in one way or the other." Kael said.

"I can see it," He added as a layer of misty spatial distortion covered his eyes. Windows to different chambers were opened before him for him to see through.

"So chambers still have a few magic shuttles.

Most of the structures have collapsed but the records show that each of them were once populated by different creatures..."

"Chloe," Katari spoke up at this point as her mind churned with curiosity.

Chloe looked at her with her big expectant eyes, wondering what this indifferent one wanted to ask.

At least, Katari attempted to speak to her. That was progress.

"Yes?" Chloe responded while Kael continued using the powers of the arkship.

"What are these arkships usually used for?" Katari asked as she tilted her head.

"Oh, usually? Large-scale invasions, planet-busting, exodus operations, civilization evacuations, or whatever the owner sees fit to do.

But most tis, it serves as a mobile world, a habitat for creatures who aren’t living on planets or in heaven." Chloe said.

Katari nodded in understanding, "So, a lot of creatures can live in it for a long ti?" She asked.

Chloe nodded, "Yes. As long as the arkship has everything it needs and most of its resources can be recycled or renewed, then a lot of creatures can inhabit the arkship for a long ti."

Although she said this, there was a look of uncertainty on her face as she was grabbing onto what Katari was implying.

"Then why aren’t there any creatures living in these arkships? It looks like they had abandoned the chamber worlds or died off.

Or, is it that the arkship cannot support life for such a long ti?" Katari pressed with another question.

Kael’s spirit wave shifted slightly, he was listening to their telepathic conversation.

"I...I don’t know," Chloe frowned, "That shouldn’t be the case. There are ancient arkships that have been in existence since the ti of Noel and they have housed creatures from different civilizations since that ti."

"Then why is this one still empty? Shouldn’t they all be here, waiting for us?" Katari asked, not just to Chloe, button herself.

Shouldn’t they be waiting for them to co and save them?

If they were not here, where could they have gone?

"The tigers, they managed to get out of the arkship and base around the peach valley, all without Aziza’s direct permission.

He let them stay there.

But, I don’t think the sa can be said for the other races," Katari said as she walked to the edge of the tal gate behind them.

"I think, there were creatures here, and they should have waited for us, just inside the arkship."

Katari observed the tal surface of the gate with detailed scrutiny.

"Are you saying..." Chloe’s eyes lit up.

"The creatures on the arkship are the sa creatures on Eridoria. The arkship is the reason why there is life on this planet," Kael completed for her.

He had already realized what Katari was implying and it could very well be the truth.

Before the arkship ca to this world, before it was lodged into the planet, Eridoria was simply a world rich with Origin Essence.

If there was any natural life on Eridoria, it was very few and had not evolved much.

The arkship had co, and it ca with different creatures who had been inhabiting the arkship.

Before lodging the arkship into the planet to set up the planetary spatial shield, Aziza had sent all the creatures away from the chamber worlds.

Naturally, the only place for them to reside was Eridoria.

This ant that it was the creatures from the arkship that populated this planet.

It also ant that every single creature on Eridoria right now was a descendant of those forgotten creatures that had co with Aziza.

Everyone was related to soone who ca from this arkship.

Including the lions.

This ant that every lion that was in Eridoria was also a descendant of soone from King Aziza’s Tonari Clan.

It ant that every lion in Eridoria was related in so way to Aziza.

It ant that Kael was related to Aziza.

And if Kael was related to Aziza, he was also related to Noel...

"Enough of that, there’s work to be done and little ti to get it done," Kael said while clapping his hands.

He snapped his fingers, causing changes to begin to happen on the outside.

Outside, the massive arkship remained suspended above the world in all its glory. Anyone who stood on top of the saucer-shaped spacecraft at this ti would see that the moon was approaching from the planet’s curvature.

A spatial distortion extended from the bottom side of the arkship, shooting down like a wavy beam.

Far down below, Constantyne and Agatha lay at the center of their crater. Their eyelids fluttered open as their senses warned them of danger.

Their abdons had holes that were leaking blood out, or had been. The wound had already clotted and a light layer of flesh had already begun to cover it. Their healing was incredible.

However, they had just begun to sense sothing was wrong when the distortion beam hit them.

Before they knew it, they had disappeared, transported to the old chamber world the tiger ancestors had hidden in long ago.

There, they stood up to see nine other tigers.

Back inside the arkship, Kael smiled in satisfaction. They will be put to good use soon.

’Maybe I can even learn so things from Noel...’ Kael thought to himself.

"Chloe," Kael called.

"Yes, Your Majesty," Chloe tucked her wings behind her and stood straight.

"When you leave here, organize with other lions and lionesses. I want all tigers on Eridoria hunted down and captured alive." Kael ordered.

"It will be done, Your Majesty," Chloe nodded.

"Now then, while we are checking the place, we might as well head back," Kael said as the space around him began to distort again.

At the sa ti, the arkship shivered as it began to move in a certain direction.

Unbeknownst to Kael and the two lionesses, the peach fruits that had managed to survive the destruction of the ascending arkship glowed faintly under the evening sky.

...

anwhile, at the bloody fields, things had changed.

A spirit lioness with a third eye on her forehead walked through the hills of bones.

This place was now a bit different than how Kael had left it.

The ground was still red but it was starting to turn black as the blood dried further. New vegetation that could survive and thrive in this environnt was already germinating.

Most of the flesh was gone, and the piles of bodies had been reduced to a few scraps that most creatures here were not willing to eat.

Instead of at hills, there were vine hills in place. The ground now had different vines from different creatures lying around.

Most of these bones still had a little bit of dried flesh on them but because of excess, the creatures who were once used to scraping at off bones just to survive had beco negligent.

There was a ti when vultures and hyenas would fight for these scraps, but now, none of that happened.

Priya was moving around because she was busy making sure that everything was in order. She could sense it, he was coming.

He was not to be disappointed, not after all he had done.

She had been doing as he asked. This field of carcasses attracted a lot of at eaters to this place.

It had gone as expected, a lot of at eaters found themselves here, following the strong stench of blood and dried at carried by the wind.

She was simply using it as an illustration to recruit as many creatures into the Vassal Records.

The lions were here, this was good.

The creatures that had co numbered in the hundreds of thousands. The presence of the lions as a force to keep everything in order was necessary.

It was also here that many lions started getting a hang of these Conquering Activities as there were a few missions they had accepted that were from Kael’s consorts.

And the more Conquering Activities they perford, the higher their Lionhood Bar beca.

Most of them started with a fifty percent filled Lionhood Bar, but after completing so missions and bossing around in the bloody fields, their average had gone up to eighty percent.

Fortunately or unfortunately, the increase in the Lionhood Bar’s percentage ca with psychological changes, as Kael intended it to be.

The simple act of adding another creature’s identity mark to the Vassal Record beca so addicting and mind-boggling to the lions.

Their group chats were filled with mission requests, pride leaders requesting their pride mbers to recruit any creature into their vassal records.

Of course, each mission still ca with other rewards like Conquering Points, but that wasn’t the focus for now.

By force or by force, that was the motto of so lions. Only by having a full Lionhood Bar would they experience the true enlightened bliss of being a lion, as intoxicating and addictive as it was.

And to fill the Lionhood Bar, they had to perform Conquering Activities...

With this new developnt, Kael unknowingly grew stronger.
