"What is her na?" Kael asked as he stared at the little lioness cub with curiosity.

"I haven't given her a na yet, Your Majesty," Burdo responded, then he went quiet.

Normally, he would be the one to bestow his cub with a na, but he remained silent and didn't try to do anything other than acknowledge that he had not yet given her a na.

"Won't you give her a na?" Kael asked, turning to his brother with his eyebrow raised.

"I can't think of a suitable na for your new consort, Your Majesty. Can I ask for so suggestions?" Burdo asked.

Only now did everyone realize what he was trying to do, he wanted Kael to be the one to na his daughter. Perhaps, he saw it as so sort of honor reserved only for the king, all an act to butter up his heart.

"Hmm," Kael's frown relaxed and his face went placid. He turned back to the water lioness who was the mother of these two cubs.

The mother had a skeptical expression on her face. This was the first ti she was a mother. Although Burdo had snatched her from her previous pride leader after killing him, she had never had any cubs of her own before that.

Now that she had these cubs to her side, she was unwilling to let them go. Her motherly instincts scread for her to not let Kael get close to them.

Kael was not their father after all, and in the wild, it was normal for dominant male lions to kill cus that weren't theirs.

Kael rely observed her, reading her surface thoughts and understanding how the mind of a mother worked.

"I have a na in mind," Kael said. His mories spurred and he was able to rember a particular word from his previous life

A certain word in the Chinese language. He rembered that he had t one of the board mbers of the company he worked in.

This board mber had been a man of Chinese descent. Many tis, when this man talked, he would interchange so of his words with this particular word that Kael rembered.

And he did it intentionally too.

Sotis, the man would say, 'Our company is Wei,' or 'You have to let them know that you are Wei,' or 'We are losing Wei,'

He would use the word Wei, to substitute for other words in his diction and Kael had always wondered what Wei ant at that ti.

The rest of the board mbers and executives seed to understand him and even used the word sotis.

The ordinary workers like Kael who did not understand Mandarin could not be too bothered to understand what it ant. It wasn't like the man was speaking to them.

It was at a later ti when the man was having a eting with the low-level workers of his departnt that he learned the aning of the word.

Wei ant power, it ant authority, it ant loftiness, it ant might, it ant majesty. Only then did Kael understand why the man liked that word and always used it whenever he could.

"Wei," Kael said solemnly, "Her na shall be Wei," He confird.

The birth of this lioness cub marked another increase in his power, the na was befitting.

She was his Wei.

"So shall it be, Your Majesty," Burdo said.

"You can na the other one," Kael said to which Burdo nodded.

"As I was saying, you will raise Wei in the Paradise Beach settlent until she is ready to live by my side.

Sufficient resources will be delivered to help her powers keep up with the rest of the pride.

In the anti, you may start making your preparations. Wolf and Eagle escorts would be ready for your journey to the beach.

Is that understood?" Kael said as he turned away from the river and toward the mountain. Nalii, Zabita, and Olivia perked up at his mont.

"Yes, Your Majesty," Burdo answered. He watched as Kael and his consorts slowly left the vicinity, leaving him, his consorts, the cubs, and the snakes.

Kael hasn't even glanced at the dead cub on the ground, it would be a lie if one said he wasn't aware that a cub had died.

Esta and her snakes promptly turned around to leave, they had no business here anyway.

They had to go make a report and account for the loss of lives they had faced.

anwhile, Kael was lost in thought once again.

And as usual, the thought on his mind was about increasing his overall strength.

He had already handed the info orbs containing knowledge on Origin Essence to N'bayé for her to study.

He planned on joining her when he had the chance but for now, he left it in her hands for her to decipher and if possible work on.

Origin Essence was very important if he wanted to continue using the Pyramid and the magic shuttle.

At the sa ti, he had already asked Chloe to start making plans for an exploration team. If there was an Arkship on this planet, he had to find it and take it for himself.

Surely, all that was in the pyramid was definitely not all that Aziza had left behind.

Maybe the arkship had more of those lion magic technologies, maybe it had more magic shuttles, and maybe it had more weapons and other stuff that could help Kael defend himself in case the other lion kings antagonized him.

So now, all Chloe was tasked with doing was to lead the exploration team that would scour the whole planet for Aziza's arkship.

He also had to be ready in case of tigers. Chloe had ntioned that the tigers had a peculiar hostility toward the lions and their appearance on this planet was probably not coincidental

Kael was also thinking about the power scale of the lion's evolution system. As a matter of fact, he had been thinking about it more often than before.

He had been comparing himself lately to other creatures of the sa power level as himself.

Based on his calculations of his power level and that of others, there was probably no tier 4 lion or equivalent creature who could stand up to him in combat.

If he were to go full out, he would probably be able to decimate an area wide enough to cover a dium-sized earth city.

Normally, using Earth's standards, tier 4 lions and beings of similar power levels were town-level powerhouses generally.

At their maximum output, they could do a lot in a wide area. An example was how Stella was able to cause a mini earthquake with that heavy stomp of hers or how Darius was able to summon lightning in different areas all over the mountain.

Going by that logic, tier 3 lions would be street/street-level powerhouses, and tier 2 would be just a regular enhanced lion with powers that put him or her above regular lions.

If Kael continues with these estimates, then he would conclude that a tier 5 lion should be regional level and a tier 6 lion would be country level.

These were just estimates though and Kael had no way to be sure of this power scaling until he tested it out for himself or saw other powerful lions exercising their powers.

Knowing this, Kael was already planning on how to increase his strength. His current tier 4 strength was definitely not enough if he wanted to stand tall in front of the Lion Kings.

He had to get stronger.

Origin Essence, the arkship, his personal strength, he had to strategize how to gain all of them.

Three different priorities, and each of them was detrintal to his survival.

Naturally, he also had to up his ga in the aspect of leadership. Engaging in so many conflicts had made him feel quite…stained.

It wasn't that he hated it, it just felt like he was focusing his attention on irrelevant things that wouldn't matter in the grand sche of things.

The only ti a king should engage in battle is when the army is inefficient and the king has no choice.

Thankfully, he was gradually getting the hang of managent and delegation. Assigning Priya to manage the restructuring of castes and Chloe to lead an exploration team had made him feel as though a tiny amount of pressure was lifted off him.

He needed to delegate more, to lead more, and to consolidate the power and control of the lions.

Perhaps there was wisdom in Priya's words, he had to calm down on the amount of violence he was willing to perform on his own subjects.

And even if he wanted to exact cruel and violent thods, he would have to get soone else to do it for him so as to keep his image clean and dignified.

Kael was now at a crucial stage where he was to learn the art of keeping his hands clean.

"Your Majesty," They were almost at the mountain when Priya's voice entered Kael's mind.

"... Natalia is here, she wishes to speak to you,"
