Chapter 444: Nan Jing
“Where is the video?”
“At the company.”
Seeing how calm Lin Wan ‘Er was, Mrs. Nan felt that this beautiful woman was rather aloof, but she needed her help. Therefore, she prostrated herself even more, “Miss Lin, you have to help us. We… can give you a number that satisfies you.”

“Where is the company?” Jiang Cheng suddenly asked.
Mrs. Nan saw hope. She answered, “It’s at Nan Street, Pu Cheng Road No. 174.”
Lin Wan ‘Er was intrigued by Jiang Cheng’s reaction. She stared at him. Her beautiful brow moved.
“I want to take a look.” It was pointless to hide his interest because the woman knew him too well.
“Thank you.” Mrs. Nan said excitedly. From her perspective, Doctor Jiang was with Miss Lin. As long as he was willing to help, so would Miss Lin. “Are you going there now?” Mrs. Nan couldn’t help herself. She didn’t know why she trusted Miss Lin so much. The police didn’t know anything. Why would she know sothing? However, after Mrs. Nan shared her experience with her friends, one of them thought about it and suggested that she look up Miss Lin. The woman might not be special, but she had interesting connections. As long as the price was right, she could handle many troubleso things.

Jiang Cheng didn’t answer Mrs. Nan’s question. He looked around. There were only Mrs. Nan and the butler in the massive room. “Does your daughter know about this?” Jiang Cheng turned to Mrs. Nan.
At the ntion of her daughter, Mrs. Nan’s emotions started to fray. “She knows. She is very sensitive. I didn’t… hide it from her.”
“Where is she now?”
“Upstairs.” Mrs. Nan said guiltily. “I’ve arranged for the nanny to accompany her. She has always been closer to her dad than to . I am worried that she’d do sothing stupid.”
“I wish to see her.” Jiang Cheng said, “The girl’s ntal fortitude is not that strong. She rely has the habit of hiding everything in her heart. I don’t want anything to happen to her.”
Mrs. Nan was stunned. The way she looked at Jiang Cheng changed. Eventually, she nodded. “Then… I’ll have to trouble you, Doctor Jiang.”
Knowing the severity, Jiang Cheng said that he’d return quickly before leaving.
With the butler leading the way, Jiang Cheng stood outside a white door. He knocked lightly on it. A few seconds later, the door opened. A woman around thirty appeared at the door. When she saw Jiang Cheng, she was scared. Thankfully, the butler told her to exit the room, so the two could be alone.
Jiang Cheng entered Nan Jing’s bedroom. The room was nicely decorated. It had wooden floors. A brown carpet was laid near the bed. There was a giant window in the room. However, the curtains were pulled back so the place appeared dim. A white piano was placed at a conspicuous spot. There was a small couch in the corner. The couch was covered in stuffed animals.
His eyes scanned the room. Finally, Jiang Cheng found the girl on the other side of the bed. The girl sat away from him. Her shoulders shook. She was not a tiny person, but at that mont, she was curled up in a ball. She looked so helpless. Jiang Cheng slowly walked over. When he passed the bedroom table, his attention was caught by sothing. It was a special vase. It was placed on the table. However, the thing that really grabbed him was the pink roses in the vase. They were folded from 100-dollar bills. Kawasaki’s Roses.
They were his handiwork. He rembered he had made them at the bar. It was a little trick to make the girl smile. He didn’t think she’d bring them ho and put them at such a conspicuous spot. Suddenly, he felt awkward.
“Can you not co over?” Nan Jing didn’t turn around. Her voice was laced with sadness. “I want to be alone.”
Jiang Cheng nodded. “Okay.”
Nan Jing trembled. Then, she slowly turned around. Jiang Cheng was sitting on the chair behind her, looking at her.
“Your mom found us. I wanted to co see you.” Jiang Cheng didn’t need to say the latter half. However, when he saw her red eyes, the words just ca out.
“Mr. Jiang…” A bit of colour returned to Nan Jing’s tired face. However, it disappeared quickly.
“I know everything.” Jiang Cheng said gently. “I’ll go inspect your dad’s company in a bit. Hopefully, I can find sothing.” By then, Jiang Cheng had a good guess what had happened to Nan Jing’s father. He fell asleep and was led into the nightmare. From the results, he should be…
