There were two males and two females. Soon, the four turned towards one direction. Then, a woman walked into view. The woman was tall and looked innocent. However, Wei Jingting could tell that the woman was a fake bitch.
When she saw the cake, the woman covered her hand to show a mixture of shyness and surprise. A fashionably dressed man in a nail leather jacket hugged her. Then, he dipped a bit of the cream on her nose. The girl pretended to struggle, but of course, she didn’t. She enjoyed this. She stuck out her tongue at the man.
This expression caused Wei Jingting to break out in goosebumps. From the girl’s perspective, she should have seen the cake before she ca out. She was trying to maintain a cute persona.
However, due to unknown reasons, the cara started to shake after the girl showed up.

Before he could think about it, the scene changed. Suddenly, soone shouted to shut off the lights. After the lights went out, the only light source was the candle. The fashionable man lit up the candles. He flung his bangs because he thought it was handso. Then, he knelt on one knee before the girl. He pulled out a small red box from behind.
Based on Wei Jingting’s experience, this should be a silk jewellery box. It probably contained a ring. Then, things went as expected. The girl acted flustered. The man was sincere and recited the age-old statent. Then, with the aid of everyone else, they surrounded the couple. They cheered and played out the cliched plot. In the end, the couple hugged.
At that mont, the video suddenly flickered. One of the lights probably broke. However, the next second, Wei Jingting frowned deeply. He pulled the footage back. He did this again and again. After multiple tis, he paused at the mont when there was a flash. He leaned close to the screen and focused on the lower end of the video. There appeared to be a piece of glass aid at the person taking the video.
Then, Wei Jingting’s hands shook. He almost dropped the laptop. The glass showed half a woman’s face. The woman’s eyes had no pupils. That was a ghost’s face! The person who took this video stealthily was not a person but a ghost!
As if realising that it had been exposed, the video started to shake like crazy. Wei Jingting scread and threw the laptop away. This broke the screen. The screen only showed static. It was mixed with indescribable sound.
DONG! DONG!
Soone knocked on his door. Wei Jingting was frightened. He didn’t look at the door because the knocking… ca from the laptop. No… It was not the laptop. There was soone knocking on the other side of the screen!
It was the ghost! It was inside the laptop!
Wei Jingting’s throat moved. He gathered his courage and charged at the laptop. He wanted to shut it down or at least break the monitor. The drop earlier closed the screen slightly. He couldn’t see the screen from his angle. As he grabbed the laptop and planned to smash it into the ground, he caught from the corner of his eye that the scene in the video had changed. The door had the sign for Room 503. A pale hand reached out from underneath the video.
Wei Jingting’s hair stood on end. He turned his neck robotically to look at the room door. Soone was knocking on his door!
His mind cleared. The video was not a video. It was the ghost’s perspective! The ghost was stalking the proposal party!
The group was clearly Lee Maoshen’s group. While they were celebrating, the ghost hid in the dark and stared at them coolly. This ghost was the key. It looked like this ghost murdered them.
It was too late… The ghost was already there for him.
The door on the screen opened. A white figure shot through in a flash. Wei Jingting stumbled to the ground. He couldn’t recover from fear.
