Chapter 215: Chapter 215: Must Kiss at Least Once_1

"What’s the matter? Can’t use your brain or your ears either?" Seeing that the doctor didn’t move, Zhang Xian angrily said, "Go inside right now and bring out the patient for ."

The doctor’s mouth twitched unnaturally a few tis, then he turned and walked into the ward.

He was helpless if the patient’s family refused treatnt at their hospital. Otherwise, he would definitely make this man in front of him regret it.

"Divine Doctor..."

Suddenly, an elated voice rang out.

Zhang Xian turned his head to look, and saw an old man hurrying over. He frowned and asked, "What’s the matter?"

"Well, I... just wanted to greet you." The hospital director smiled. "What brings you to our hospital...?"

Zhang Xian said, "Am I unwelco here? Do you guys really think your hospital is so great? I may not be a millionaire, but I do believe I have the right to be at your hospital, right?"

"No, that’s not ..." The director looked puzzled, "Did our hospital do anything that displeases you, Divine Doctor?"

Zhang Xian sneered, "Director, your words really make

frightened! How dare I be dissatisfied with your hospital? Isn’t that just asking for trouble? Judging by the attitude of one of your doctors, seems you guys think you’re the best hospital in the world! If you guys turn us away, there’s no point going anywhere else. It’s as good as waiting for death."

The director was confused, and was quite frightened by Zhang Xian’s attitude.

Though not yet famous or influential, he knew it’s because Zhang Xian chose to keep a low profile, not because he couldn’t be high profile.

If they offended him, he could make them suffer imnsely at a mont’s notice!

"Director, what are you doing here?"

At this mont, the doctor who pushed Yu Wenhui out of the operating room.

"It’s nothing, you go ahead with your work." The director waved his hand.

The doctor grinned, pushing Yu Wenhui to Zhang Xian and said, "Kid, I’ve brought the patient out, now get lost."

The director stared at the doctor in disbelief. Is this bastard trying to get fired? Asking the Divine Doctor to get lost? It seems the Divine Doctor was upset because of him!

Zhang Xian chuckled, walking over to the bed. Noticing Yu Wenhui had several broken ribs, and internal injuries, he frowned.

The injuries weren’t a big issue for him, but the ride back would be troubleso.

"What on earth are you implying?" The director suddenly stared at the doctor and asked, "What exactly did you an by having the Divine Doctor get lost? Who the hell do you think you are? Since when do you call the shots in the hospital?"

The doctor was wide-eyed, a look of confusion on his face. "What... What’s wrong, director?"

"What’s wrong?" The director sneered, "You’re asking the Divine Doctor to get lost, what the hell does that an? It’s an honor for us that he is at our hospital. You dare to ask him to leave?"

The doctor pointed at Zhang Xian and asked the director, "He... is he the Divine Doctor?"

"If he isn’t, are you?" the director yelled.

The doctor’s face turned awkward. He wished he could crawl into a hole. He realized that he had offended a big shot. Even the director was polite to him!

Du Xinyan was also taken aback.

The doctor seed to address the old man as ’director’ while the old man referred to Zhang Xian as ’Divine Doctor’. What was going on?

The hospital director was addressing Zhang Xian as a Divine Doctor. What did this imply? Did Zhang Xian have so extraordinary abilities that even the hospital’s director revered him, and called him a Divine Doctor?

"I am not so ’Divine Doctor’. I am nowhere as good as the doctors you have in your hospital!" Zhang Xian sneered, "At least, your doctors wouldn’t perform surgery without money."

The director glared at the doctor, "What’s going on? No surgery because of no money?"

The doctor stamred, "Director, I..."

The director waved his hand dismissively, "Alright, enough, you’re a ’Divine Doctor’, I admit, but our hospital can’t afford your services."

"Director, what do you an..." The doctor was scared as he realized the director was about to fire him.

The director didn’t respond to the doctor, but quickly walked over to Zhang Xian, "Divine Doctor, I apologize for our hospital’s unworthy doctor. This is my oversight!"

Zhang Xian simply smiled, but didn’t reply.

"Is this... Is this a friend of Divine Doctor’s? I will arrange soone for the surgery right away." The director looked at the dical record, noticing that Yu Wenhui had internal injuries and broken bones. He didn’t dare to delay anymore.

"When did I say I wanted surgery?" Zhang Xian stopped the director, "If you really an well, then arrange a vehicle to take us back."

The director was surprised, "Divine Doctor, you... you’re not having a surgery?"

"You call

Divine Doctor and yet ask

to keep the patient here for surgery. Isn’t that a bit ironic?" asked Zhang Xian.

"No... No..." The director was stunned.

He knew the patient had had a car accident, which resulted in internal injuries due to broken bones. Shouldn’t surgery be the course of action for such a case? Or was Zhang Xian implying he could heal him with only acupuncture?

If that was the case, he wouldn’t know how to describe Zhang Xian’s dical skill anymore. It would be absolutely mind-blowing!

"Are you still not leaving?" Zhang Xian said.

The director nodded and quickly took out his phone to make a call.

Du Xinyan stood on the spot, not able to co back to her senses for a while. Was that guy really a hospital director? Why was he being ordered around by Zhang Xian without any complaints?

Soon, several nurses rushed over and wheeled Yu Wenhui towards the elevator.

Seeing this, Du Xinyan quickly followed them.

After Zhang Xian joined Du Xinyan in the elevator, he saw the hospital’s director also trying to cram in and gruffly asked, "What are you doing? Can’t you see the elevator is crowded enough already? You still want to squeeze in?"

The director was taken aback and quickly exited the elevator, looking rather embarrassed. But he said nothing, there wasn’t anything he could say.

The nurses turned their heads, looking at Zhang Xian with imnse surprise.

Who on earth was this guy? He dared to rebuke their director loudly? It seed even when the discipline committee secretary had visited their hospital before, their Director didn’t carry such respect.

They went downstairs, then got into the car.

Soon afterwards, the ambulance left the hospital for Du Xinyan’s ho.

The director ran down from the stairs just in ti to see the ambulance leaving. He was annoyed as he’d planned to follow and see how Zhang Xian would save the patient. Now that was off the table.

...

After the ambulance got Yu Wenhui ho, they didn’t stay any longer. After helping to carry her inside, they quickly departed again.

Zhang Xian moved to her bedside and examined her. He grabbed Yu Wenhui’s wrist, injecting a pure stream of Spiritual Energy into her body, forcing her broken ribs to nd.

For him now, repairing bones was a major undertaking. The energy within him was Spiritual Energy, not Spiritual Origin. Pushing the bones back into place would consu an enormous amount of energy.

Du Xinyan watched him, feeling both nervous and puzzled.

She’d never seen anyone treat a patient like Zhang Xian was doing, just sitting by the bedside, holding the patient’s hand without moving. Much less even heard of it.

If it weren’t for Zhang Xian’s previous treatnt of her mother, she would have doubted if he was just acting out a performance.

Before long, beads of sweat appeared on Zhang Xian’s forehead and his eyebrows furrowed. His supply of Spiritual Energy was almost depleted; he was now holding on by sheer will.

He had no choice, a tiny bit of the broken bone had yet to nd. Once he had started, he was set on putting every misplaced rib back in place in a single try.

Du Xinyan hesitated for a mont then fetched a towel. She gently dabbed the sweat off Zhang Xian’s forehead.

"Whew..."

Finally, Yu Wenhui’s broken ribs had been returned to their original position. Zhang Xian took a deep breath and withdrew his hand.

Seeing this, Du Xinyan asked, "Zhang Xian, how is my mom now?"

"Don’t worry, she’s not in any serious condition. But it will take two or three days to completely heal." Zhang Xian spoke, sounding sowhat weakened, "This is already the fastest I can do."

Du Xinyan was taken aback, "Three days?"

Zhang Xian replied, "What? I’ve worked hard, I haven’t been idle, I can’t go any faster."

"No... that’s not..." Du Xinyan hastily waved her hands, "I an, my mom’s injury is severe. How can she recover in just three days? Doesn’t it take a hundred days to heal from a muscle or bone injury?"

"Psh, that’s for ordinary people. Am I ordinary?" Zhang Xian arrogantly responded. "Haven’t you heard the director calling

Divine Doctor?"

Du Xinyan pouted, but surprisingly, she didn’t scoff at Zhang Xian.

If not for Zhang Xian today, she didn’t dare think about the consequences. The hospital’s costs were high, her relatives would not lend her money, and she certainly couldn’t afford it all.

"It’s getting late, I have to go back. Your mom might be in so pain tonight, make sure to stay with her." Zhang Xian said as he stood.

"Oh... why would she be in pain?" Du Xinyan asked.

Zhang Xian replied, "Her broken bones are not completely healed. Of course, it hurts a bit. But she should be able to bear it, it’s not a big deal."

Du Xinyan nodded and said, "Well, thank you for your help today!"

Wiping his nose, Zhang Xian asked, "Why is it always a simple ’thank you’? Can’t you give sothing more tangible, like a kiss or sothing? What’s the point of just saying thanks?"

"You pervert..." After Du Xinyan gave Zhang Xian a cold glance, she pushed him towards the door. "Weren’t you just saying it’s late? Better hurry back then. What are you still doing here?"

Zhang Xian seed unsatisfied, "Ah, Du Xinyan, you should at least give a kiss right?"

"In your dreams..."

"Oh, why are you being so stingy?"

"No ans no. Hurry up and go. I’m not walking you out." After pushing Zhang Xian out, Du Xinyan quickly closed the door behind her.

When Zhang Xian saw the door shut, he sighed and headed towards a different direction.

Once he reached the main street, he stopped by a shop to buy a packet of cigarettes. He lit one and then pulled out his phone, dialing He Zheng’s number, "He Zheng, how’s the investigation going?"

"Brother Xian, it’s... it’s hard without any leads..."

Zhang Xian said, "I know, but no matter how hard it is, you must provide

with clear answers."

"Of course, Brother Xian, I would never neglect the task you’ve given." After buttering up Zhang Xian, He Zheng suddenly asked, "Brother Xian, I just thought of sothing. Elder Sister Hong was abducted from a rental building, right? Isn’t there a surveillance cara in the building? If there is, we could check the surveillance records, maybe we can find so clues."

Zhang Xian was surprised and swore, "Damn, why didn’t I think of this before? Hurry up and bring so people here, let’s check the surveillance video."
