Although Jiangcheng County was just a small town, the police station actually had two sections—old and new!
The old police station primarily handled major criminal cases and was situated right next to the Jiangcheng County prison, near the outskirts of the county.
At that mont, inside an interrogation room of the old police station, Ye Feng was shackled by both hands and feet to an interrogation chair. The room was empty, and he had been left alone for a full hour, yet no one had co to interrogate him.
Just as Ye Feng was closing his eyes, pondering over the sequence of events, the door to the interrogation room opened, and the captain of the police team walked in, carrying a cup of coffee.
The captain's face was extrely grim at that mont. After entering, he glared fiercely at Ye Feng before sitting down on a chair, sipping his coffee, and opening the interrogation book.
"Speak! Why did you kill?"
A cold smile appeared at the corner of the police captain's mouth as he asked Ye Feng.
Ye Feng rely shook his head lightly, "I didn't kill anyone!"
"Bullshit! If you didn't kill anyone, why are you here?" the police captain yelled angrily, accusing him of making excuses.
Ye Feng's mouth curved up slightly, and he looked at the police captain with a pinch of mockery:
"Then you're here too, does that an you killed soone?"
Huh?
The police captain was startled at first, then his face turned livid:
"Good! Good for you, you smooth-talking brat! I see you won't cry without seeing the coffin!"
With that, the police captain slamd a forensic report down on the table:
"According to our police's preliminary investigation, aside from the footprints of the maid, only your footprints were found at the scene! How do you explain that?"
"My footprints? Weren't there any footprints from you police officers there? Does that an you police are the murderers as well!"
Ye Feng's calm words stirred another wave of fury in the heart of the police captain:
"Fine! It seems you are adamant about denying everything! In that case, let's take your statent first, and we'll see how you'll argue when the forensic results co back!"
After finishing his statent, the police captain flipped open the interrogation book, then asked coldly:
"Na?"
"Ye Feng! Ye of Ye Feng, Feng of Ye Feng!"
Ye Feng's response made the veins on the police captain's forehead throb wildly; this was the first ti he had encountered such an obstinate and unruly person in the interrogation room, who seed more relaxed than if he were in his own ho.
"Gender?" the police captain continued, suppressing his anger.
With a faint smile still playing on his lips, Ye Feng responded, "Pure man!"
Once again, the police captain's rage flared up, and he barked:
"Answer properly!"
"Female!" Ye Feng replied with a laugh.
"Bullshit!!!"
At that mont, the police captain felt an itch in his fist, wanting nothing more than to smash Ye Feng's grinning face in:
"Look at yourself, could you possibly be a woman?"
Upon hearing this, the curve of Ye Feng's mouth turned up even more: "Since you know I'm a man, why ask?"
"You…"
At that mont, the police captain was so choked up he couldn't speak and slamd the interrogation report onto the table:
"Fine! Kid, you've got guts, but I'll see how long you can keep this up!"
After he finished speaking, the police captain stord out and slamd the door. Shortly after, four ard police officers entered and took Ye Feng directly out of the interrogation room!
Although this old police station was a building from the 1990s, its rooms were well-equipped. However, Ye Feng noticed that instead of taking him to the detention center, the four officers led him past the back of the police station to a large compound.
Jiangcheng County Maximum Security Prison!
Typically, a police station and prison should not be constructed together, but Jiangcheng County was different. Here, the local customs were fierce, the cri rate was consistently high each year, and many were serious offenders or criminals who had even fled into Jiangcheng County. This had kept the criminal investigation departnt of Jiangcheng County from moving and still neighboring the prison!
Upon seeing this scene, Ye Feng frowned slightly:
"Are you really not going to thoroughly review the case before locking people up in prison?"
"Hmph! You, a murderer, belong in prison, not outside. Rest assured, once you get in, don't even think about getting out!"
A police officer looked at Ye Feng playfully, then ignored him and walked straight to the cara in front of the prison, and subsequently the prison's iron gate slowly opened!
As soon as he entered, Ye Feng slled sothing different.
Decay, despair, ferocity, brutality!
This was definitely the first impression upon entering the maximum security prison!
Imdiately, several ard guards ca over, and together with the four police officers, pressed Ye Feng toward a cell block!
The prison appeared to be just a row of bungalows from the outside, but inside one room, there was an iron door leading underground.
Opening the iron door, one could see that there were two levels underground, each level containing dozens of separate rooms, each holding a serious offender!
"Awoo! New guy, ti to present yourself! Haha..."
"Damn it! Finally so fresh at! He's mine! No one better compete with !"
"Bullshit! Only I can break him in! If anyone dares to touch him, they'll taste my fists!"

As Ye Feng was being pressed by several police officers just walking into the underground prison, a series of ghostly, howling noises imdiately filled the air. One by one, the prisoners fiercely shook their iron bars and created a frenzied ruckus, each one's gaze upon Ye Feng filled with mockery and viciousness.
Ye Feng slightly furrowed his brow, his eyes flashing coldly as he looked around at the criminals.
"What are you looking at! Move along!"
The corners of the police officers' mouths were tinged with a cold smile as they pushed Ye Feng toward a cell.
Inside this cell, there was just one young man wearing glasses sitting in a corner. The mont he saw the police bringing Ye Feng over, he imdiately shrank back into the corner in fear.
"Get in! Stay quiet and don't cause trouble, or else... hmph!"
The police officers pushed Ye Feng into the cell and locked it, then left after issuing their warning.
Ye Feng's expression remained unmoved, his gaze flickering uncertainly, as if deep in thought.
"Hey, brother, you're new here?" Just then, the young man wearing glasses in the cell spoke up.
His voice was filled with timidity, as if he was afraid of angering Ye Feng.
Ye Feng turned and glanced at the young man, a slight, gentle smile appearing on his lips: "Yes, I'm new here. Please look out for !"
"I wouldn't dare! But brother, be careful. There's gonna be so ti to air out at eight tonight, and the guards won't be around. Being new here, you'll definitely be targeted by those inmates!"
The bespectacled inmate, seeing that Ye Feng was amicable, seed to gain a bit more courage and proceeded to caution Ye Feng.
