"Alright, let’s put an end to the matter of soone playing gas in class this ti, and let it serve as a wake-up call for everyone."
That afternoon, while Li Na was in a eting, she received the Student Union’s inspection results in the group. Bored, Li Na opened the report and saw soone playing gas, along with a high-definition photo. She was furious.
It hadn’t been long since classes started, and already this kind of thing was happening. What made Li Na even angrier was that now the matter of soone playing gas on a phone during class in the Software Class of 21 was known to all the counselors.
At the back of the classroom, Yang Wenzhao and Zhang Hui Zhen exchanged a knowing smile. This was a common occurrence in every class, and without anyone speaking up, no one would have imagined that even with the front and back doors closed and no caras, the Student Union could still capture photos of students in class.
However, they could understand why Na was so angry. Although students with phones were occasionally caught on cara, there were indeed very few instances of students getting caught playing gas.
After taking a deep breath and adjusting her mindset, Li Na began today’s class eting topic—to elect the class officers.

Li Na clapped her hands, "Alright, each of you take out a piece of paper and write down three nas for the positions. You can write fewer nas, but not more, and you can write your own na, but not repeat any na."
"Hurry up, everyone. Once you’ve thought it over, write it down. I know you all want to get back to the dorms early. Once the class officers are elected, you can leave."
Mo Jingchun, rather cunningly, didn’t forget what Yang Wenzhao had told him last ti, so when he left the house, Mo Jingchun brought a notebook and a black pen with him.
Of course, many students brought pens and paper, but only a few did not.

The second person Mo Jingchun wrote was Li Xuanyu. With excellent grades, she seed like a fitting choice for Study Committee mber.
As for the last person, Mo Jingchun wrote Zhou Hueling. She was the one who smiled the most out of all the classmates.
All three were girls, not because Mo Jingchun had any biases, but mainly due to his sister Candy, Mo Jingchun interacted with the girls in the class more and understood them sowhat better. As for the boys in the class, since Mo Jingchun didn’t live in the dorms, he didn’t have any interactions outside of class.
Mo Jingchun folded the paper with the nas on it and placed it on the corner of the desk.
A few minutes later, Li Na nodded towards Yang Wenzhao and Zhang Hui Zhen at the back of the classroom.
Starting from the back, Zhang Hui Zhen and Yang Wenzhao began collecting everyone’s papers, gathering them together.
Zhang Hui Zhen quickly counted them twice; there were 43 in total, with 2 still missing.
Before Zhang Hui Zhen could speak, two people ca up to deliver their papers.
"To ensure fairness and justice, I’ll have your senior, Zhang Hui Zhen, read the votes, and your senior, Yang Wenzhao, will tally them."
"Let’s begin."
Upon Na’s words, Yang Wenzhao and Zhang Hui Zhen exchanged a look and nodded in understanding.
"One vote for Yang Xiaoyu."
"One vote for Zhang He Wei."

"One vote for Zhou Hueling."
After reading the last slip, Zhang Hui Zhen stepped back into a corner by the wall below the platform, waiting for Yang Wenzhao to tally the results using tally marks.
Seeing the statistics on the blackboard, Yang Xiaoyu, with 44 votes, beca the undisputed official Class President.
As for the missing vote, it was likely that Yang Xiaoyu didn’t vote for herself.
What surprised Mo Jingchun the most was that Zhou Hueling actually received two more votes than Li Xuanyu.
Indeed, girls who like to smile are welcod everywhere, especially in a science and technology class with more boys than girls.
Mo Jingchun sheepishly touched his nose, wondering which guy voted for him, making his na one of the many with just one vote on the blackboard.
If it weren’t for a dozen classmates also having just one vote accompanying him, Mo Jingchun would have felt utterly embarrassed.
"Alright then, the eight newly elected class officers and two temporary officers stay for a brief eting. Everyone else, you can leave, go back to the dorms."
After Mo Jingchun and others left the classroom, Li Na gathered the class officers to discuss the responsibilities and tasks, and then ntioned the first task after becoming an officer.
"We’re about to conduct the selection for student aid grants. There are 45 students in our class, and the school has allocated 8 spots for us.
