Chapter 264: System Interface
Chapter 264: System Interface
Underground Base, Bolton Lands
POV of Doric
-Pop
After delivering Sansa to Lyra in the Dreadfort, Doric was apparated back to the Underground Base.
He went to his desk in his study, threw himself into the large guest chair in front of it, and leaned back.
Sansa would be safe in the hands of Lyra and his aunt. After her hair and eye color changed, it wouldn’t be difficult to introduce her as soone else. Her face was still her own, but while the "real" Sansa was in King’s Landing, no one would think she was Sansa.
Doric could have been more cautious and prepared a Polyjuice Potion for Sansa, making her a completely different person.
He hadn’t previously known how to make these potions, let alone the equivalent ingredients for them in this world. But after receiving the Alchemy Fountain reward from the Deathly Hallows tattoo, he had the recipes for many of the liquids that it could create. And potions were the first among the recipes he studied.
The Alchemy Fountain was still producing magical ink at full capacity, but that didn’t an Doric couldn’t create potions himself. As long as he knew the recipe, he could create even potions he hadn’t made before, after a few tries.
He didn’t choose the Polyjuice Potion because it was ti-consuming and laborious to prepare, and its effects were short-lived, requiring constant consumption.
In contrast, the potion that changed Sansa’s hair and eye color was permanent unless a counter-potion was taken. This saved Doric the trouble of constantly brewing potions at the cauldron.
-Pop
Another popping sound jolted Doric from his thoughts. He looked down at the source of the sound and saw Dobby standing before him, holding a tray with a teacup and teapot.
"Dobby has prepared so tea for master Harry Potter, sir," Dobby said.
Doric smiled and said, "Thanks, Dobby. I don’t know what I’d do without you."
"Master Harry Potter does not need to thank Dobby. Dobby enjoys what he is doing. Does Master Harry require anything else?" Dobby asked.
Although he said Doric didn’t need to thank him, his voice clearly showed that it made him happy.
"A little late-night snack would be nice. It’s been a long day. I wouldn’t mind storing a little energy," Doric said.
Then, with a snap of Dobby’s fingers, a variety of snacks appeared on the coffee table in front of Doric. Apparently, Dobby had already prepared his preparations.
"Dobby... If I ever manage to have more house elves, I will crown you their King," Doric said.
"Do... Dobby will go and gather the ingredients Master Harry requested for the ritual." Dobby said and then disappeared with a pop.
"Was he embarrassed? But I’d better give Dobby sothing in return for what he’s done for . Maybe if the Deathly Hallows tattoo gives
a female house elf, I can provide Dobby with a girlfriend." Doric said to himself.
Then Doric rembered why he’d co here: to examine the system’s new interface and features.
Doric gently swung his hand, and the teapot on the tray lifted, beginning to pour tea into the teacup. Once the cup was full, he gently returned the teapot to its place on the tray.
Doric picked up the teacup, leaned back, blew the smoke over the tea, took a sip, and said, "System."
Then, a semi-translucent black screen appeared before him. If he had encountered this scene yesterday, he might have been surprised or unsure what to do.
But this morning, with the system’s awakening, he had learned not only about the multiverse and the world’s destiny lines, but also how to use the system’s interface.
So Doric casually examined the screen before him. Various tabs were displayed at the top of the screen, and the one currently in front of him was the "Champion" tab.
When Doric looked below the tab buttons, he noticed that the "Champion" tab in front of him consisted of three main sections. Above each section, from left to right, were the titles Status, Equipnt, and Inventory.
Doric was initially thinking of examining the information in the Status section, but a flashing button in the Equipnt section, located in the middle of the screen, caught his attention.
The Equipnt section consisted basically of a shadow human silhouette, with the words "No Equipnt " written underneath. Just below that was a flashing "Initial Equipnt Sync" button.
Doric clicked the button ntally, without much thought. The system was essentially his Death Champion power from Lady Death, so he didn’t think it would harm him.
Besides, if the button was flashing to get his attention, it was probably because this was sothing that needed to be done first.
As Doric initiated the Initial Equipnt Sync, tattoos of all the items that were previously soul-bound to him and later tattooed onto his body began to appear on his body, one by one.
All the tattoos that appeared then moved across Doric’s body, shifting towards the Deathly Hallows tattoo on his right hand and blending in with it.
The Deathly Hallows tattoo on his right hand was now the only tattoo Doric had on his body.
At the sa ti, new equipnt began appearing one by one on the shadow human silhouette in the Equipnt section of the system screen opposite Doric.
rlin’s Sapphire was placed as a necklace around the silhouette’s neck, the Holly Wood Wand was placed in the silhouette’s right hand, and the Sword of Gryffindor was placed in the silhouette’s left hand.
Unlike the others, the Magical Suitcase, Alchemy Fountain, and Gardener’s Pot appeared as icons next to the silhouette rather than directly on it.
In addition to equipnt appearing on and beside the silhouette, rows of equipnt nas and brief descriptions began to appear in the previously blank space beneath it.

---------------
Most of this information was already familiar to Doric, but so new information caught his attention.
He knew that the Gryffindor Sword made battle spells more powerful, but he had no idea the effect was exactly ten tis stronger.
But what really caught his attention was the compatibility information on specific items. More precisely, the compatibility information on magical fuci items.
The Gryffindor Sword’s compatibility rate was 100%; that wasn’t a problem. But Doric’s wand appeared to have a compatibility rate of 82% with him.
Did this an that his wand wasn’t compatible enough with him?
