Although Ye Qingchen had found a way out, the nearest point of white light was still dozens of ters away. With Huan Xinghe and his n watching like tigers stalking their prey, they would never give him the chance to escape with everyone.
Huan Xinghe sauntered toward Ye Qingchen’s group, the Galaxy Silver Chain materializing in his hand once more. With a cold smile, he sneered, "Chen Qingye, aren’t you supposed to be so powerful? Now that you’re stuck in this marsh, what can you possibly do besides be my living target?" As he spoke, Huan Xinghe swung the Galaxy Silver Chain toward Ye Qingchen and his companions.
Ye Qingchen knew that Qin Yue and the others could not withstand Huan Xinghe’s power. He had no choice but to act, shielding them with his own body. But just as Huan Xinghe had said, Ye Qingchen was trapped in the marsh. Daring not to move, he could only stand there and take the constant attacks like a practice dummy. Even though Huan Xinghe’s strength had only recovered to the peak of the Martial Spirit Realm, his relentless assault was still becoming too much for Ye Qingchen to handle.
"Attack together! Let’s see how he can block all of us alone!" Huan Xinghe’s anger flared when he saw that Ye Qingchen remained unscathed despite being struck by the Galaxy Silver Chain several tis. He ordered the Huanyue Sect disciples behind him to join the attack, flanking Ye Qingchen’s group.
The disciples unleashed their Martial Techniques, launching ranged attacks at Ye Qingchen. A deluge of powerful Energy washed over him. After one volley of attacks, Ye Qingchen could no longer hold on. He spat out a mouthful of blood, having clearly sustained a serious injury.
"Qingchen, are you okay?" Qin Yue asked with concern, rushing to support him.
Ye Qingchen shook his head, indicating he could still hold on. However, he knew that if this continued, he would inevitably be worn down and killed. Once he was dead, Qin Yue and the others would be no match for Huan Xinghe.
Taking advantage of a lull in the attacks, his mind raced as he searched for a way out of their predicant. Finally, his gaze fell on the vines that had saved Liang Fei earlier.
Huan Xinghe obviously had no intention of giving him ti to breathe. Seeing Ye Qingchen injured, he and his n took a mont to regulate their breathing before launching another wave of attacks.

"Chen Qingye, have you reached the end of your rope? It’s laughable to think these pathetic vines can block our attacks," Huan Xinghe mocked, looking at the easily broken tendrils. To his surprise, however, a sly smile appeared on Ye Qingchen’s face. Though the vines seed to be scattered chaotically, through the eyes of his Dual Pupil Martial Soul, it was clear they ford a path leading directly toward the white light.
"Liang Fei, you bring up the rear! Follow the vines to the very end, and don’t move once you get there!" Ye Qingchen instructed. Then, pulling Qin Yue along, he stepped onto the path of vines. The girl in red and Liu Qinghan imdiately followed.
Liang Fei was tasked with covering the retreat not because of his exceptional strength, but because of his bulky fra. If he had gone first, he likely would have trampled the vines into the marsh instantly.
For several Martial Spirit Realm experts, a distance of dozens of ters was covered in the blink of an eye. Just as Ye Qingchen had predicted, the mont Liang Fei reached the end, all the vines behind him were stomped into the marsh and vanished.
"Huan Xinghe, I have to thank you for your help! We couldn’t have escaped the marsh otherwise. I didn’t expect you to be so nice. Better than your father, at least!" After escaping his predicant, Ye Qingchen couldn’t resist taunting him. But speaking aggravated his wounds, and he coughed up another mouthful of blood.
He turned and whispered to Qin Yue and the others, "We’re safe for now and out of their attack range. Let’s rest here for a bit. Don’t move." After speaking, Ye Qingchen sat down cross-legged and took out a Spirit Pill to begin his recovery.
Huan Xinghe, of course, heard Ye Qingchen’s taunt. He frowned with displeasure and shot a look at his Huanyue Sect disciples. An disciple at the Eighth Layer of the Martial Spirit Realm understood the signal. He executed a movent technique and charged toward Ye Qingchen’s group, following the path they had just taken. But before he had even gone a few ters, he was swallowed whole by the marsh. Huan Xinghe was stunned and didn’t dare make another rash move.
Liang Fei, who had witnessed the entire scene, finally found his chance to let out all his pent-up frustration. He burst out laughing and bellowed, "Huan Xinghe, you were so high and mighty a mont ago! Why so quiet now? Your grandpa Liang is right here! Co and get
if you’ve got the guts!" As he spoke, Liang Fei wiggled his large behind in Huan Xinghe’s direction, even slapping it a few tis to provoke him.
This act sent Huan Xinghe into a towering rage. Never in his life had he been subjected to such humiliation!
The Huanyue Sect disciples couldn’t stand it either and started shouting back.

Although Liang Fei’s combat skills were lacking, he had never backed down from a war of words. Liang Fei’s words made the Huanyue Sect disciples flush with embarrassnt. Huan Xinghe gritted his teeth, vowing to tear Liang Fei to pieces. But Liang Fei didn’t care in the slightest. He took them all on in a war of words and didn’t lose an inch of ground.

Ye Qingchen nodded, showing him the more than twenty green dragon fruits he had obtained. "Yes, I found a green dragon fruit tree and picked all of them. This should be enough for all of us!"
"So many!" Liang Fei’s eyes nearly popped out of his head. A single green dragon fruit was already worth a fortune, yet Ye Qingchen had obtained more than twenty at once!
It wasn’t just Liang Fei. Across the marsh, Huan Xinghe and his n stared at the green dragon fruits in Ye Qingchen’s hand, their faces masks of envy and greed. If not for the treacherous Black Swamp Marsh separating them, they would have already rushed over to seize the fruits.
Ye Qingchen then turned to Qin Yue and the others. "Follow my footsteps closely. Don’t make any mistakes." Activating his Dual Pupil Martial Soul, he followed the white light on the ground, leading them deeper into the Black Swamp Marsh.
Liang Fei, still not satisfied, hurled a few more insults at Huan Xinghe’s group before turning to follow Ye Qingchen.
