Chapter 486: Chapter 486 - The Wild Prince
Leyvi looked at Anda, silently asking for her opinion.
"Up to you," she said.
It was Leyvi who had given Bellion the talent on a whim, and that careless decision had led to the current situation. She had scolded him for years because of it. Now that it had produced such a heaven-defying result, how could she possibly interfere?
From her perspective, accepting it was the correct choice. They already possessed one Spiritual Vein. The risk of being discovered was already there. Since the danger existed regardless, they might as well take it.
Leyvi then turned to Kiyara. "Miss Kiyara, Bellion said you were the one who found this. I think you should be the one to make the decision."
"No, no, no! I don’t want it." Kiyara grabbed Bellion’s arm, her face turning pale. She was genuinely frightened.
"I might just be a small fry, but I understand how the world works. An ultimate treasure like this would only invite calamity. This is sothing only the strongest can possess. You can take it if you want." Her voice trembled slightly.
Countless stories throughout history spoke of powerful forces being annihilated simply because they obtained sothing too precious. A Spiritual Vein was undoubtedly one of those treasures. If even major powers could be wiped out for such things, a nobody like her would not stand a chance.
Anda nodded.
Not because of what Kiyara said, but because Kiyara had clearly taken her advice to heart. Making physical contact with Bellion whenever possible, even in serious situations. This was perfect execution. Excellent work, Kiyara.
"Hmm... if that’s the case, then I’ll accept it. Just as you guessed, we do have our own way to handle a Spiritual Vein." Leyvi said.
"However, if you ever need it back in the future, just tell . I’m certain your formations will beco far more advanced, perhaps the best in the world. When that ti cos, you will need an ultimate energy source to power them. I will return it to you." He promised.
Anda sighed inwardly.
She already knew he would say sothing like this.
We should just take it and be done with it. Why promise to give it back...
Bellion was surprised. He realized that he had still underestimated how upright Leyvi truly was. The only reason he had decided to let the Spiritual Vein go was because he was not strong enough and lacked confidence in keeping it a secret. It was a decision made purely to preserve his life. Otherwise, he would never have been willing to part with sothing so precious.
On the other hand, Leyvi did not seem attached to it at all and was even willing to let it go just like that whenever the ti ca.
No. On second thought, it was not that Leyvi did not desire it. He did desire things. He simply did not allow the value of an object to alter the way he normally acted or the principles he lived by.
Most people beca greedier and more possessive the more valuable sothing was. Their actions, decisions, and even personalities would slowly warp around that value. A man might abandon old friendships for wealth. A cultivator might slaughter others for a rare treasure. Families might tear themselves apart over inheritance.
This was simply the nature of humans, or perhaps all living beings.
Yet Leyvi seed to have already escaped this shackle.
His actions were not dictated by value. He was untouched by greed. If necessary, he could give things up at any ti.
And because of that, he beca extraordinarily generous.
Bellion still rembered the legendary bamboo shoot Leyvi had given him. No one else would have been willing to part with sothing like that so casually.
Just how vast was his ntality? As boundless as the ocean? And how had he cultivated such a mindset?
As expected of the man whose rise had been even more teoric than his own. This was soone worthy of trust.
Bellion found himself admiring Leyvi more and more. He truly felt that he had gained a good friend.
"Very well. Then I’ll leave it in your hands until I’m capable enough to reclaim it myself, or until Kiyara is." Bellion said, his trust in Leyvi was absolute.
There was no real guarantee that Leyvi would honor his words. Yet for so reason, Bellion did not doubt him at all.
"Hahaha. Then we’ll take our leave. I only ca to ask about your power source anyway. Now that I know the grand formation won’t run out of energy, I can finally relax." Leyvi said, his worries completely gone.
After that, Leyvi and Anda departed from Bellion’s place.

Another week passed.
The scene outside the barriers remained unchanged. Countless attacks were launched nonstop, bombarding the grand formation without pause. The surrounding atmosphere trembled constantly, chaotic energy surging and colliding in violent waves.
Those who grew exhausted and needed rest would retreat to the camps located a few kiloters away from the barriers, safely outside the range of the turbulent battlefield.
Outside Bellion City’s grand formation, Prince Ozan’s camp.
A man in a distinctive royal outfit sat on a magnificent chair. His face was rugged, frad by a full beard. He did not look young like most of the cultivators present, yet neither did he appear old. Instead, he carried the air of maturity, tempered by countless trials.
Beneath his robes, the outlines of dense muscles were clearly visible. His entire presence radiated pressure. A single glance was enough to tell that this man was extrely powerful.
He was Prince Ozan, the formidable prince who practiced all three known cultivation systems: Qi Cultivation, Body Cultivation, and Spiritual Cultivation. He had survived every assassination attempt relying solely on his own strength.
Although his cultivation speed was far slower than his peers, he did not mind. His ambition was to beco the first person to reach the peak of all three systems, engraving his na into the passage of history forever.
"We’ve been doing this for over a week. Only two weeks remain before the portal is ready. Are you certain we can deplete their energy? I have a feeling this isn’t going to work." Prince Ozan said, his brows tightly knitted.
The ten Royal Guards standing before him exchanged glances. Whenever their wild prince voiced such doubts, trouble often followed. They steeled themselves instinctively.
"Your Highness, Prince Charles’s faction and Supre Alchemist Mujin’s faction both agreed to this plan. There is no reliable energy source in this area that Formation Prodigy Bellion could exploit. He must be burning through their spirit stones right now to sustain the formation." One of the guards spoke up.
"Hmph. That sounds logical, yet I cannot shake the feeling that we are missing sothing." Prince Ozan snorted. "Did they not allow Princess Waniwani to join them? That woman is obscenely wealthy. She might have poured her spirit stones into powering the grand formation as well."
He paused, his eyes narrowing.
"And who says they have no other energy sources? They have been in this Mystic Realm for years. There is no telling what kind of treasures they might have stumbled upon."
The Royal Guards glanced at one another again, unease spreading among them.
"So, what is Your Highness’s suggestion?" another Royal Guard asked cautiously.
A wide grin spread beneath Prince Ozan’s thick beard as he rose to his feet, his towering figure radiating pressure.
"The solution is simple. Let
join the assault. With my power, I’ll deplete whatever energy they’ve gathered in no ti. No, scratch that. I’ll destroy the barrier myself! I refuse to believe this flimsy thing can withstand my full strength. This is the most direct and effective thod!" he declared, already striding past his subordinates.
"Wait, Your Highness! You can’t do that!" The Royal Guards hurriedly grabbed his arms and legs, stopping him in place. They had known this would happen.
"Damn it! What are you idiots doing? Let
go!" Prince Ozan roared, dragging his restrained body forward, pulling all ten Royal Guards along with him.
"Your Highness! You must conserve your stamina for when the grand formation finally runs out of energy. At that mont, you can go all out and claim the portal for our faction. If you waste your strength now, the others will seize the opportunity!" one of them tried to reason, struggling to hold him back.
"That’s exactly why I call you all stupid!" Prince Ozan bellowed, veins bulging on his arms. "If we fail to deplete the energy in ti, your entire plan becos aningless! Let
handle this, you bastards!"
"Everyone! Restrict his movents! Do not let him go and ruin the plan. He is our trump card to seize the portal later!" another Royal Guard shouted.
More and more people rushed over, piling onto Prince Ozan in an attempt to subdue him. The once orderly camp descended into chaos, shouts and curses echoing through the air as they struggled to restrain their rampaging wild prince.
---
Prince Charles’ camp.
"Your Highness Charles, we’re here. I’ll summon all the Royal Guards to et you right away," Captain Logan said.
"Wow... look at them all working so hard to break the barriers. So many different attacks. What a beautiful sight!" Prince Charles exclaid, his eyes sparkling as he observed the battlefield.
Captain Logan’s mouth twitched. Are you here for sightseeing?
"But unfortunately, all their efforts are nothing more than a waste," Prince Charles continued, a knowing smirk spreading across his face.
