Chapter 150

“Blue Fang. There is a dangerous human there.”

“…I know.”

Blue Fang, the Uruk chieftain, recalled a human whose eyes had t his from afar a while ago.

At first glance, he seed like an ordinary human, but Blue Fang could read the imnse power contained within his pupils.

“Summon the warrior’s soul.”

“…! But Blue Fang, we have only just begun the war. If we summon the warrior’s soul already….”

“If we cannot overco that place, there is no next for us anyway. This is not the ti to be conservative.”

“Understood. I will have the warriors prepare.”

Red Sole of the Uruks, following Blue Fang’s command, gathered the Uruk fighters.

Over 500 of them had strange tattoos all over their bodies.

“Warriors of Baltara, my beloved comrades. The ti has co to show the warrior’s will to break open the human castle gates.”

At Red Sole’s words, 500 Uruk fighters thumped their chests resoundingly.

“If we die honorably in battle, we can enjoy eternal glory in Baltara’s temple tomorrow.”

“Uooooooo.”

As they, ard with roars and shouts, beat their chests once more, a strange blue light began to flow from the tattoos engraved on their bodies.

Thus, the next day, 500 fighters at the forefront of the Uruks began to emit light from their bodies.

The blue light that initially flowed from their bodies intensified over ti, and at so point, it felt as if a blue light was flashing from their eyes as well.

“Baltara is watching! Let’s go!”

Thus, 500 Uruk fighters, led by Red Sole, were engulfed in blue ghostly fire and began to charge madly towards the castle walls.

Following them, approximately 2,000 Uruks, excluding the casualties from the first day, madly followed the fighters.

It was the beginning of the second Uruk wave.

***

Andre stood on the castle wall, looking down at the Uruks and watching his commander.

Looking at the overwhelming wave of Uruks unfolding before him, he felt as if everything would be swept away by them, but.

If Karl was in front of him, for so reason, he felt like they could hold them off.

Buuuuuuuuuu.

At so point, the sound of their horns once again echoed in all directions.

“What is that….”

“Those things are sowhat strange. Sothing like a blue light is coming out of their bodies.”

The object of the soldiers’ murmuring was approximately 500 Uruks.

The Uruks, with strange tattoos on their bodies, were emitting a blue ghostly fire from their tattoos and eyes.

“Hmm….”

Andre, too, instinctively swallowed dry saliva at their extraordinary aura.

A mont later, the blue-eyed Uruks, who had instantly reached the castle walls, kicked off the walls and instantly dropped onto the top of the walls.

Of course, the Knight of the Lighthouse, prepared for the Uruk fighters’ attack, were positioned on the castle wall.

The white light of Luntia Swordsmanship clashed with the blue ghostly fire of the Uruk fighters.

Unlike the previous Uruks who were pushed back by the knight order, this ti, the Uruks’ ghostly fire was pushing back the Knight of the Lighthouse.

The intrusion of as many as 500 Uruk fighters was, in itself, close to a disaster.

“Block them in groups of three! Form a formation!”

The Luntia sword formation, created by Karl, Definir, Bastien, and experts in coordinated techniques and sword formations, was divided into units of 3, 5, 10, and 100.

Even the 3-man coordinated formation, suitable for use on the narrow castle walls, had an efficiency several tis higher than individual movent and an effect of increased offense and defense.

However, even with the power of the coordinated formation, the intrusion of 500 Uruk fighters was difficult to handle.

“Baltara, grant us strength!”

As the monster, in fluent common tongue unbelievable for its appearance, sought strength from its god, an even clearer ghostly fire emanated from the Uruks’ bodies.

Their ghostly fire increased their physical defense, strength, and speed.

Kwaaaang!

A massive Uruk with unusually red feet, even among the Uruk fighters, swung its axe, and several knights were flung back like paper dolls.

“Kururururururu!”

The red-footed Uruk fighter was enveloped in a ghostly fire so much larger and clearer than the others that it felt as if he were engulfed in blue flas.

Just as the Uruk, wreathed in ghostly fire, once again explosively lunged forward, a handso knight with golden hair, wielding an aura enveloped in white light, blocked his path.

“An interesting human.”

“I am Kelvin Manov, the Knight of Holy Light.”

“I am Red Sole, Uruk fighter.”

The Uruk fighter politely introduced himself before the battle.

They had monstrous appearances, but they were individuals with the hearts of warriors to their core.

Kuuuuung!

The clash between the two was fierce, and the shockwave was enough to send nearby Uruks and knights flying.

anwhile, the tide of battle was not turning very favorably for Elberum.

The Uruks’ stamina was far superior to humans, and their combat power was also superior.

The more the battle beca a war of attrition, the more disadvantageous it beca for Elberum, which had fewer personnel.

‘I need to create a variable.’

Karl realized that if things continued like this, the castle would eventually fall.

Karl, who was looking around at the surrounding battle situation, instantly leaped off the castle wall.

“Your Excellency, the Count!”

“My Lord!”

“Commander!”

The nurous subordinates fighting by Karl’s side were horrified at the sight of him suddenly leaping down from the castle wall, but their lord, already on the ground, treading on the Uruks’ heads and running forward, was moving away at an even faster speed.

“Kurururururu…!”

Blue Fang, the leader of the Uruks, who was watching the battlefield situation with the Uruks at the rear, saw a single human leap down from the castle wall and run towards him.

And at that mont, he felt a fighting spirit boiling up from deep within his body.

The Uruks, as a warrior race, sincerely respected the human before them who was charging alone into this multitude of enemies.

“Stand back! This is my fight!”

At the lion’s roar of Uruk Chieftain Blue Fang, all Uruks spread out and did not block the approaching human.

An absurd situation that would never have occurred in a human war unfolded.

Even Karl, while rushing towards the Uruk who appeared to be the leader, had not expected such a situation to unfold.

“Human, I pay respect to your pride as a warrior. I acknowledge you as my adversary.”

Blue Fang nodded as he looked at the wide space created by the Uruk curtain that had ford before him.

“I am Blue Fang, chieftain of the Blue Fire Uruk tribe.”

The imposing Uruk, with bulging muscles and a giant battleaxe in hand, calmly introduced himself.

“Karl, Free Knight. Lord of those people.”

Karl’s introduction was very short and concise.

Blue Fang paid no attention to his brief introduction.

He rely watched Karl’s every movent, from his fingertips to his toes.

“This is an overwhelmingly advantageous situation for you. Why do you accept the fight?”

“A great warrior’s challenge to a duel is sacred. If I refuse such a warrior’s duel, Baltara will not allow

into the god’s hall.”

The description of Uruks he had read in books and the creature standing before him now seed to match by more than 90%.

The elves were completely different from their descriptions, but these Uruks were so similar that it was, again, absurd.

“Even if I die, our great Uruks will never stop.”

This was another piece of bad news for Karl.

Contrary to the thought that killing their leader would break their command structure, these Uruks seed to have a system that differed from human organizational structures.

Was it that the leader was important, yet not so important?

At least in battle, the leader’s role could beco aningless.

It ant that even if the leader died, their attacks would continue.

‘There’s nothing more to lose anyway. Regardless, subduing that fellow will create a variable.’

Karl cleared his mind of distracting thoughts and focused everything on the tip of his sword.

The Uruk before him was by no ans his inferior.

Hwareureureuk!

In a fleeting mont, ghostly fire flashed from Blue Fang’s body, and instantly, the Uruk appeared before Karl.

Karl, too, was quite surprised by the speed, which felt as if space had folded.

Kwaaaang!

Thanks to deploying a curtain of golden aura as quickly as Blue Fang, the two were pushed back several ters from each other.

Brrrrr.

Karl felt flustered as he looked at Léct??o, which was vibrating, and his trembling hand.

‘What power….’

Even for Karl, whose strength far surpassed human limits after several physical reconstructions, the collision just now was shocking.

The power contained in Blue Fang’s strike was that imnse.

“Excellent, human. You possess strength that humans cannot have. Here I co again!”

Kung!

The mont the sound of his foot stomping the ground echoed around, the giant Uruk once again approached before Karl’s eyes.

[Karl yer Style. First Form. Vortex]

Aura filled the front, and the swirling wind of aura fiercely struck Blue Fang standing before Karl.

Kwang! Kwang! Kwang! Kwang!

Blue Fang’s battleaxe, wreathed in ghostly fire, struck Karl’s aura, and the storm of aura subsided.

A few scratches appeared on his body, but thanks to his regenerative abilities, they healed in the blink of an eye.

Self-healing, strong attack power, and on top of that, an almost fraudulent defensive power.

The opponent before him was more troubleso than any enemy he had t so far.

That ghostly fire, which could shatter the aura of a Master-grade knight, was a fraudulent ability.

“Kurururururu, interesting, human! I don’t know how long it’s been since I had such an interesting battle! Baltara will look after us. Human, though you are human, you are an excellent warrior, so you may even be able to enter the god’s hall after death! Kurururururu!”

Karl now seed to clearly understand that the strange cry Blue Fang was uttering was laughter.

[Soul of the Uruk. Will of Baltara]

It was at that mont.

The blue fla engulfing Blue Fang transford into a giant fist, and along with his axe that leaped into the sky, it began to fall towards Karl.

At the pressure of that imnse power, Karl montarily furrowed his brow, then lightly inhaled and thrust his sword towards the sky.

[Karl yer Style. 6th Form. Ascension]

The golden aura dwelling in Karl’s sword scattered like a spray, dyeing the sky in all directions, and began to disrupt the massive blue fist falling from above.

Kwang!

In the end, his axe, which fell before Karl, had its blue fla offset by the golden aura.

The two, who had continued to fight for quite a long ti, to the point where it was impossible to tell how many tis they had clashed and separated, could not decide the victor.

anwhile, on the castle wall, a fierce battle continued.

Fortunately, due to the duel between the two, no additional siege forces followed, so the castle had not yet fallen, and the siege defense continued.

Kung kung! Kung kung! Kung kung! Kung kung!

Karl, whose skills had improved by leaps and bounds due to various recent events, had thought he could sufficiently handle the Uruk chieftain before him.

‘What terrible arrogance.’

Karl was feeling frustrated by the stalemated situation, which showed no signs of improvent.

These Uruks, a mad warrior race, would laugh and envy their kin who died, saying they went to the god’s hall.

But Karl was not like that.

This ti, as the lives of his precious subordinates and soldiers disappeared, was the most frustrating mont in the world for him.

Thus, as several more exchanges of offense and defense continued, a flag fluttered in the wind on the ridge behind the Uruks.

The flag, with a golden rampart drawn on a white background, was the flag of Duke Ellenhower’s army.

“You have a knack for showing up at just the right mont.”

Duke Ellenhower, whether intentionally or not, always appeared with his flag fluttering at dramatic monts.

Perhaps he had been watching this situation and waiting, deliberately coming out now.

“Kurururururu.”

Blue Fang let out an unpleasant cry at the suddenly appearing ddler and looked towards where Duke Ellenhower’s flag was.

“Humans are always troubleso. It’s regrettable, human with the soul of a warrior. We’ll have to postpone this for next ti.”

Shouting thus, Blue Fang blew his horn loudly.

Then, the Uruks who were engaged in battle, as if by magic, heard his retreat signal and began to withdraw at high speed.

“I thought you warrior folk wouldn’t know how to retreat, but your speed of withdrawal is a work of art.”

“Retreat is preparation for a new advance. Rushing forward blindly is a foolish act, human.”

Uruk Chieftain Blue Fang, who even left a plausible lesson at the end, thus turned sharply away from Karl and began to leave the spot.

It was unknown what he was trusting to expose his back to him, but he seed to be assuming that Karl wouldn’t attack him from behind in the first place.

‘Or maybe not….’

Even if I landed a blow on that back, I don’t think I could kill him.

The defensive power of that monstrous body and his ghostly fire would never allow Karl’s strike to land.

Karl felt it instinctively.

Thus, the Uruks’ first air raid on the north ended, inflicting considerable damage on the humans.
