Chapter 46: Chapter 42: Advanced Insect Transformation
Under the dense fog at the T34 outpost, the Black Serpent Team was nearly wiped out, and the screams of the survivors mingled with the zombies and monsters, swiftly turning the place into a living hell.
Waves of zombies, conflagrations, rebellion, and chaos rendered the bewildered teams headless, annihilated in an instant by the undead horde and bullets.
The Fat Man, not one to linger in battle, took Qian Yu’s big truck after eliminating the remaining forces of the Black Serpent Team and, with his n commandeering several supply vehicles and their own fleet, revved the engines and broke through the zombie masses.
Feng Yuming had transford into that half-insect monster, radiating endless malice. He marched forward, picked up Qian Yu’s handgun, and bang! Bang—dispatched two fleeing survivors, before walking towards the platform.
Tang Hai, on the platform, though his n had gained the upper hand, had not yet breathed a sigh of relief when his face suddenly turned pale; he pointed toward the courtyard and yelled,
"Watch out, it’s the Fog Spider!"
No sooner had his word ended than the survivors, desperately resisting, felt the horde of zombies before them vanish. It took no ti for a gigantic spider to appear within the light’s foggy glow, and with a swift motion, a skyscraper-tall claw impaled down!

In the blink of an eye, two survivors were impaled through the chest.

Harrowing screams ensued all at once.
Tang Hai turned white with terror and clambered onto the freight train’s locomotive, shouting to his n, "Yuming, quick, everyone get on, we’re about to depart!"

Amidst the tide of zombies, a pickup suddenly burst forward, heading up the slope and aiming to break through on the railway tracks.

Tang Hai’s face twisted at the sight, and with a roar, he commanded action.
Suddenly, a dark shadow charged forth, slamming into the pickup from the side with a boom! The great force sent the modified truck toppling out of control and flipping over!

Sha Sha scread, and in the briefest mont, Lou Ye grabbed his sister, flung open the door, and they tumbled out, while their vehicle rolled down the hillside.
"Thought you could escape, huh!"
Feng Yuming erged again from the mist, with a sneer, lifting his claw to strike at Lou Ye.
Unexpectedly, Lou Ye swiftly rose to his feet, seizing the insect claw with a grunt and hurling Feng Yuming through the air!

Another burst of gunfire, Lou Ye imdiately dived atop Sha Sha on the ground as a stray bullet pierced his shoulder.
"Brother!"
Sha Sha’s eyes reddened and she cried out, ready to grab a gun and return fire.
But Lou Ye had no ti for pain, and with a tight embrace around Sha Sha, he braved the storm of bullets, preparing to rush down the slope where almost no survivors remained—only a dense, surging wave of the undead!!!
Feng Yuming’s sharpshooters continued their retreat in the direction of the platform, with bullets raining down as if they cost nothing.

A proud, cold scoff sounded, and Black Thorn burst weirdly out of the mist. Lou Ye couldn’t evade and raised his arm to block.

Black Thorn pierced straight through his arm, and under the imnse force, Lou Ye couldn’t even grunt as he retaliated with a back kick into the dark mist, his powerful strike even generating a tearing wind.

As if hitting a wall, Feng Yuming slowly stepped out, managing to grasp Lou Ye’s full-powered kick with his hand that had not undergone mutation!
He wore a look of disdain, "Fools like you, all brawn and no brains, probably don’t even know that killing Superpower Users and Abnormal Bodies can grant evolution. Too bad... you no longer have that chance."
Feng Yuming pulled back his Black Thorn, wrist twisting, and a red light erged atop the Black Thorn.

"Bro! Be careful!" Lou Shasha cried out in horror.

Yet, he scoffed indifferently and lted back into the black fog.

Suddenly, multiple Wind Guns struck from behind the platform, the unresponsive shooters on Tang Hai’s side crumbling at the sound.
"Watch your back!!"
Tang Hai shouted loudly, causing all the shooters to imdiately scramble into the train carriages in search of cover and readiness.
The spotlights swept through the fog, and as Lou Shasha ca to her senses, she saw the tide of zombies below and the monstrous Fog Spider above. Wiping away a tear, she hurriedly pulled her brother Lou Ye, shouting,
"Bro, let’s get out of here!"
Hiding behind a piece of Green Stone at the rear of the platform, Lin Xian was dripping with exhausted sweat, desperately gasping for air, as the chanical Heart’s nearly 9 hours of frenzied operation had almost entirely depleted his vitality.
"I knew you two had to be hiding sowhere. Heh, trying to benefit as the third party in a conflict, do you really think you’re sothing special just because you have Superpowers?"
Feng Yuming, ghost-like, his voice undulating from near to far, and in an instant, Lin Xian felt a cold breeze sweeping through the fog ahead. Instinctively, he fired a Wind Gun into the mist.
