Chapter 112: Chapter 107 Human Skull
The sudden, faint unfamiliar sound that arose from the tranquil space instantly altered the expressions of the two, their gazes darting around.

The dragging sound continued, and Lin Xian’s heart grew suddenly alard, for he had clearly run far, yet that sound seed as if stuck to the nearby display rack, always tily appearing to his left.
Just as Lin Xian and KIKI turned into a long corridor, strange things began to occur. Whether it was the air or a problem with the visibility, Lin Xian noticed that the light from their flashlights started to dim, the darkness ahead devouring their sight like thick ink.
At the sa ti, that dragging creaking noise appeared not far behind them on the ground.

"Ah! Lin Xian."
KIKI was startled by the sound, whispering out, as she wasn’t running as fast as Lin Xian. Lin Xian imdiately reached out and grabbed one of her hands, pulling her quickly forward.
The sound of running echoed in the vast corridors with an empty noise; KIKI’s heartbeat quickened, one hand gripping Lin Xian’s while the other held the mobile terminal tightly.
At that mont, the creepy dragging sound rang out again, and this ti, it felt almost right behind her own head.
KIKI was startled and reflexively released Lin Xian’s hand, unleashing her superpower with a sweep behind her!

An invisible force surged, and a shock wave spread out.
A muffled thud sounded as if sothing invisible had been blasted away!

"Go through here!"
KIKI shouted.
After rushing into the chilly passageway of the freezing chamber, the biting cold white vapor began to envelop them, their visibility growing even murkier ahead. Lin Xian held the knife across the front, with his other hand tightly pulling KIKI along.
"Hello."
In an instant, a voice suddenly ca from the front, sounding like a little girl’s, but hearing it made Lin Xian and KIKI’s hair stand on end.
Not just because the voice ca out of nowhere—they could tell, the intonation of the voice was very unnatural.
Simply put.
It didn’t quite sound human.
"Who’s talking?!"
"Be careful." Lin Xian, who was running ahead, reflexively pulled KIKI into a narrow passage beside the freezer room.
Whoosh!
Sothing seed to roll past the passage where they had just dodged.
"You! Good!"
The creepy voice sounded again, this ti it was even deeper, as if trying hard to sound ’normal,’ but the more it did so, the more terrifying the voice beca!
"Over there!" KIKI gasped urgently, pointing towards the entrance of the distant passage, the direction they had just co from.
Lin Xian looked over and was shocked to see the white chilly air flowing rapidly to both sides of that passage, as if sothing was approaching within the mist.
And it wasn’t small in size!

Lin Xian’s first reaction: with this size, it’s definitely not a Zombie, nor likely a human ghost.

Lin Xian adjusted his breathing rapidly, pulling KIKI to speed through.
"It seems like this thing is following us."
"Quick, it’s just ahead," KIKI urged urgently.
The two rushed out of an area dedicated to genetic preservation, entering a corridor. However, at that mont, the eerie voice was heard once again.
"You!!! Good!!!"
The voice beca piercingly sharp, deliberately mimicking that of a human.
Lin Xian followed the direction of the voice, looked back, and the beam of the tactical flashlight simultaneously shone on the glowing freezer door where the voice ca from.
At that ti, in that direction, a shadow shaped like a Human Skull appeared.
Rushing toward them, moving fast!

Lin Xian yanked KIKI forcefully behind him, chanical Heart working, quickly creating a steel fra barrier in the shape of a box, erecting it in the middle of the corridor, completely blocking the space.

The Human Skull shadow’s features were unclear as it collided head-on with the barrier Lin Xian created. The steel fra instantly deford, sparks flew off the walls, the sudden obstruction hindered the dark creature, and just as Lin Xian prepared to escape during this brief respite, in the darkness, a blood-red flaming skull slowly started to light up.
The huge skull’s eyes and gaping mouth seed to ignite flas. Suddenly, a red Human Skull figure over three ters tall and covered in bone spikes appeared in their line of sight.
Ahh!!
A piercing roar tore through their eardrums, and a jet of white fire mixed with a wave of blood burst forth from the red Human Skull’s mouth, the scorching stench instantly engulfing the whole corridor.
"Breathing fire?!"
Lin Xian’s expression steeled at the sight, imdiately reacting.

The wave of flas instantly illuminated the entire corridor, KIKI leaned behind Lin Xian, also raising her hand to start defending with Telekinesis, an invisible force blocking the scorching breath, blood plasma staining the corridor red, creating a spraying area to both sides from where Lin Xian stood.
Lin Xian’s Ice Shield instantly vaporized, and even the steel walls behind it were heated to red-hot. Had it not been for KIKI’s intervention, the steel wall might have been lted through!
"What in the world is this thing?"
"How can an Abnormal Body talk!!"
"Let’s go!" KIKI’s face turned anxious, reaching up, she grabbed a huge chandelier overhead and pulled it down fiercely.
Clatter!
The tal chandelier plumted, smashing onto the blood-red skull, pinning the red Human Skull on Lin Xian’s steel barrier. The steel fra emitted a wailing bend as it collapsed with a crash, buried under the tal chandelier and a pile of steel fra.
Seizing this opportunity, Lin Xian pulled KIKI and dashed out of the corridor, the flashlight illuminating a narrow service passage ahead.
