Now, leading at the front, they charged out of the corridor while he instantly created a steel door with his hand to block one side of the corridor to prevent more zombies from rushing in.
Seeing this, Ding Junyi’s eyes flashed with a hint of astonishnt. Among all superpower research, this was the first ti she had seen soone create steel out of thin air; her heart was sowhat astounded.
KIKI quickly caught up, rushing out without any hesitation.
Zhao Yan and the others were hurrying along as if their butts were on fire, necks shrunk and steps quickened to keep up.
Having traveled the route before, and with Ding Junyi’s guidance, the squad’s speed had increased even further. Zhao Yan and her comrades kept tense expressions, afraid of falling behind.
Beep beep~ beep beep~
Lin Xian’s watch sounded at this ti, 18:45
Night had fallen.
Deep inside the Underground City, it was impossible to see whether it was dark outside, but strangely enough, as Lin Xian’s watch went off, so did the lights in the 52nd-floor corridor.
Sothing weird happened; all the lights flickered simultaneously, and a chilling aura that everyone could feel seed to surge up from below!
Lin Xian’s eyes twitched as he stared into the darkness ahead, his expression growing solemn.
He felt sothing was approaching rapidly!

Lin Xian took a step forward, gesturing to KIKI to slow down. Then he placed the flashlight next to his ear, quickly fabricated a bracket to secure it there, and freed one hand to start gathering Electric Surge in his palm.
"Ahhh!!!!!"
A piercing female scream suddenly rang out, and Lin Xian’s flashlight beam caught a blood-red figure in the corridor. In just an instant, this bloody shadow charged forward, its ghostly claws, black with nails, lunging fiercely towards Lin Xian.
"Lin Xian, be careful!" KIKI spoke up, but before her words fell, Lin Xian’s eyes narrowed, and Electric Surge in his hand pierced the darkness, sparkling in the dim corridor.
In that mont, almost everyone saw the blood shadow charging forward, turning out to be a female Zombie, its skin seemingly dissolved away to reveal rotting flesh and limbs, its mouth agape, the jaw almost hanging down to the chest, a truly terrifying sight.
Fortunately, Lin Xian’s detection ability had significantly improved, and he sensed sothing approaching from far away, so without hesitation, he used Electric Surge.

The white lightning energy shone, instantly piercing the female corpse’s face, and at the sa ti, KIKI next to him reached out to grab and froze the Monster midair.

He was sowhat frightened; the female corpse’s speed just now was shockingly fast, even faster than the ones they had encountered at the station platform before.

Ding Junyi quickly followed behind KIKI and Lin Xian, saying in a low voice,
"We tend to refer to beings that are different from nocturnal creatures—those that mutated from humans— as human ghosts."
"Human ghosts?" KIKI asked curiously.
"Yes, you can understand it this way; these are Zombies with Superpowers as a special type of being."
"Are you talking about the Fallen ones?"
Ding Junyi glanced at her in surprise, "You know about the Fallen?"
"We know quite a lot." Lin Xian walked ahead, raising his gun to headshot a few Zombies, without pausing his steps, "Such questions are aningless."
