Chapter 987: Chapter 987: I Like the Way You Look With Long Hair
Matthew Saxon led her to sit by the bed, plugged in the hairdryer, and carefully combed her hair, strand by strand, before starting to blow-dry it.
When he combed her hair, he was very gentle, as if he was afraid of hurting her, combing cautiously and occasionally asking: "Does it hurt?"
Scarlett Yates shook her head: "It doesn’t hurt."
"If your hair gets pulled, let
know." Except for Naomi Dougla, he hadn’t combed any other woman’s hair before.
He combed ticulously, ensuring that every strand of hair was smooth and silky.
The sound of the hairdryer echoed in her ears, and the constant warm air wouldn’t harm the hair texture, occasionally brushing against her cheeks like his gentle breath.
Matthew Saxon was very focused and thorough, drying one side completely before starting on the other.
Scarlett Yates hadn’t enjoyed such pampering for a long ti.
She felt an inexplicable urge to cry.
Matthew’s actions reminded her of her mother, Autumn Spencer, and her grandmother.
When they were around, they would wash and blow-dry her hair just as tenderly and ticulously.
The hair quickly dried, cascading down her shoulders in glossy, satin-like black locks.
Matthew Saxon touched her hair, feeling its silky texture, and caressed it lovingly several tis: "Scarlett, keep it long from now on."
"Why?"
"Because I like the way you look with long hair."
"Oh..." Her face flushed again.
"Your hair is done, now go change clothes. Once you’re ready, we’ll go down for breakfast."
Scarlett nodded, thinking that after receiving such service from the Young Master, she should at least offer a reward. Standing up, she tiptoed and kissed him lightly on the lips.
Then, as he stood there stunned, she had already run several ters away, smiling: "I forgot to say, good morning, Matthew Saxon."
Matthew’s lips curled into a smile as warm as spring sunshine, with his Peach Blossom Eyes sparkling. He touched his lips.
Her voluntary display of affection was not a simple task.
Even though it was just a gentle kiss, he was rather pleased.
At least he could see her slowly changing.
The timid and shy Scarlett was starting to express her feelings proactively.
She no longer hid her emotions, beginning to open her heart to him little by little.
This showed she was willing to trust him, instead of harboring the constant guard she used to have.
Watching her hop towards the dressing room, Matthew Saxon’s eyes sparkled gently as he turned to look out the window, his half-closed eyes filled with growing affection.
The sun outside grew brighter; even through the glass, its warmth could be felt.

Scarlett initially thought taking wedding photos would be simple, yet she hadn’t expected just trying on wedding dresses to take two hours.
"What about this one, how does it look?" By the ti she ca out in the seventh dress, she was already quite exhausted.
All these wedding dresses were handcrafted, with each flower delicately embroidered, making the craftsmanship complex and wearing them certainly not easy.
Though appearing light and airy, the wedding gown was actually quite heavy.
Beauty requires sacrifice, and being a beautiful bride is not an easy task.
With the heavy wedding dress on, Scarlett wiped her forehead sweat and gathered the long train as she walked towards Matthew Saxon: "What kind of expression is that, this one doesn’t work either?"
