Capítulo 1998: Chapter 1880: Why Hire You Japanese People_5

Standing on the deck, eagerly awaiting were the Dragon Gate Warriors, Chu Xianling, Sun Yiyi, and others. They clearly saw Song Xiaodong leap three ters above the water, like a rocket propelled by jets of water beneath his feet. Upon seeing the ship, Song Xiaodong didn’t hesitate, adjusted his posture, and landed steadily on the deck, holding a black wooden box from the Han Dynasty in his hands.

“Great, we found it!”

“Where’s Coach Xu?” Yumi Ono asked.

“Coach Xu had his tank punctured by the tentacles of the Great King Squid.”

The group instantly fell silent.

“Change the tank!” Song Xiaodong commanded, and everyone imdiately replaced Song Xiaodong’s tank.

“Hey, how did your tank get depleted so fast?” Yumi Ono looked at the nearly empty gauge on the replaced tank.

Song Xiaodong did not answer, and after changing the tank, he jumped back into the sea.

“Xiaodong!” Sun Yiyi and Chu Xianling couldn’t help but call out, but they couldn’t stop Song Xiaodong.

Song Xiaodong dived quickly, holding the purple pearl Xu Duoduo had given him, and suddenly realized he could see the undercurrents in the sea, with different colored waters flowing at different speeds.

Song Xiaodong didn’t dwell on it, diving swiftly to the seabed, only to find the corpse of the Great King Squid still sinking on the seabed, its tentacles flailing unconsciously, but Xu Duoduo and the Whale Shark were nowhere to be seen.

Song Xiaodong searched again, swimming with ease thanks to the pearl, but still couldn’t find Xu Duoduo.

As Song Xiaodong swam around underwater, the surface was changing dramatically.

A group of people were watching the situation beneath the surface from the deck when they suddenly noticed the circular hole in the sky was moving around. Correspondingly, the center of the calm vortex on the sea surface also began to move, no longer circling the three reefs. Yumi Ono, regardless of Song Xiaodong’s fate, hurriedly started the boat, carefully positioning it at the vortex’s center.

After another search, Song Xiaodong found nothing and had no choice but to resurface, realizing the boat had moved. He had to swim over again and climbed aboard once more.

“We should leave quickly; there have been changes on the sea surface, and the center of the vortex is moving.” Yumi Ono said.

Song Xiaodong ca to the deck as the sea surface began changing again; the vortex started gradually disappearing, the water level began to rise, the clouds in the sky began to disperse, the hole in the sky gradually vanished, the mysterious Buff between the three reefs disappeared, and the wind and waves started spreading toward the center, threatening to wreck the small boat.

With furrowed brows, Song Xiaodong instructed, “Find a small cloth bag and get so sturdy ropes.”

“Start the boat!” Yumi Ono returned to the cockpit to command, and the boat began moving again.

.

“It’s over; we can’t escape!” Yumi Ono began to speak despairingly.

Soon, Dragon Six cut a pocket from a piece of clothing and brought over so ropes.

Song Xiaodong quietly took the purple pearl Xu Duoduo had given him, put it in the pocket, secured it with ropes, then walked to the bow and tossed the pocket into the sea, tying the rope to the boat.

As soon as the pocket touched the seawater, the sea surface changed again. Song Xiaodong saw with his own eyes that the mont the pocket was thrown into the sea, a previously calm area began rapidly expanding, and the waves approaching Yumi Ono’s boat from all directions silently dissipated upon encountering this calm area. The clouds that had already sealed the sky revealed a gap once more, allowing sunlight to pour through.

“Dinghai Pearl!” Lin Feng understood what was happening.

Song Xiaodong solemnly nodded.

Returning to the deck, Song Xiaodong instructed, “Open the box.”

The lock on the black wooden box was long broken. A Dragon Gate Disciple struck it with a crowbar, breaking it easily. The box, made of black wood, was incredibly heavy, not rotting even after two thousand years soaked in seawater, its material unknown.

When Song Xiaodong opened the box lid, he found inside a treasure box, made of gold inlaid with jade, covered with nurous red and green gemstones, looking very beautiful. Upon opening the treasure box, he found a piece of jade-green stone inside.

Before entering the Dragon Gate Secret Vault, Song Xiaodong definitely thought it was just a piece of stone.

But inside the secret vault, Song Xiaodong learned much about these bizarre things.

Like this stone, known as the Heart-to-Heart Stone.

The Heart-to-Heart Stone, similar in principle to stalactites, can grow. Common stones, once broken, cannot be rejoined, but the Heart-to-Heart Stone is different; after being cut, it can be rejoined in water to form a single piece again.

Because of this principle, the Heart-to-Heart Stone is perfect for storing items. Two Heart-to-Heart Stones can be split, have sothing placed between them, then rejoin perfectly; it is impervious to fire and does not dissolve in water.

The Dark Night Sect sohow got news of this kind, and whatever is inside the Heart-to-Heart Stone won’t be damaged even after two thousand years, explaining their huge effort of bringing light cruisers and submarines to search.

Unfortunately, the Dark Night Sect, believing in their strength, failed to build a good relationship with local forces and was targeted by the Japan Mariti Self-Defense Force. Coincidentally, the sea’s weather changed, the water level at Demon’s Corner inexplicably dropped several dozen ters, giving Song Xiaodong his chance.

Chapter 1884: Skirts Fluttering

Song Xiaodong pondered that he was not there to retrieve sothing from inside, but to destroy it. So, he instructed the Dragon Gate Young Disciples, “Get a sledgehamr and smash it.”

Dragon Six brought over a sledgehamr and placed the Heart-to-Heart Stone on cast iron. With a “clang!” the cast iron was dented, but the Heart-to-Heart Stone remained unscathed, without even a scratch.
