Chapter 1084: Chapter 1085 Future Planning
In the afternoon, Qi Lanqin received a call from a classmate, but it wasn’t Lin Yue whom she saw yesterday; it was Chu Lian.

today and said you’ve co to Minghe. What are you doing here?”

Entering the restaurant and finding the reserved private room, Qi Lanqin saw her classmates.
“Lanqin!” Everyone inside cheered, and a girl jumped up to give Qi Lanqin a warm hug. It was Chu Lian, who had a pretty good relationship with Qi Lanqin back in high school, and often took care of her.

The boy nad Zhao Yong had a fervent look in his eyes, saying, “I’d love to, but I’m afraid Qi Lanqin won’t give
the chance.”
Chu Lian rolled her eyes, saying, “You should forget it. Lanqin is mine today.”
There were seven people present today, besides Chu Lian, there were Lin Yue and her boyfriend, another girl nad He Fangzhi, and the guys Zhao Yong and Tian Zhifeng.
Four girls and three guys, except for Lin Yue’s boyfriend, the other five were all Qi Lanqin’s high school classmates.
Because of the crowd, Lin Yue didn’t speak as harshly as yesterday. Everyone shared dishes and chatted while eating, and Zhao Yong was apparently trying to please Qi Lanqin, continuously striking up conversations with her.
Lin Yue initiated a topic, saying, “By the way, we’re about to graduate. What are everyone’s plans?” She felt quite proud of this subject and was happy to discuss it.
Chu Lian said enviously, “Lin Yue, we can’t compare with you. You already have a job lined up before graduating, and it’s a governnt position. Good pay, great benefits, and lots of vacation.”
Lin Yue smiled with satisfaction, saying, “It’s thanks to my boyfriend. So, what do you guys want to do?”
Zhao Yong puffed his chest and said, “My dad said that after I graduate, I’ll work at his company, starting from the ground up. In a few years, he might promote
to a Section Chief or sothing.”
Tian Zhifeng also said enviously, “Zhao Yong, your dad’s company is a state-owned enterprise, and your dad is an official, so you’re guaranteed a stable future. It’s a job that everyone envies.”
Zhao Yong laughed heartily, saying, “Though it’s not as good as Lin Yue’s governnt job, state-owned enterprises are stable and have relatively light workloads. Getting promoted later, one can still do quite well.”
Chu Lian said, “I can only job hunt myself and strive to beco a white-collar worker. Ultimately, it’s still about finding a good man to marry and becoming a full-ti wife.”
Tian Zhifeng laughed, saying, “I say Chu Lian, why don’t we strive together? I’ll make you a full-ti wife in the future.”
“Pfft, wait till you earn so money first.” Chu Lian glared at Tian Zhifeng. Their relationship was sowhat ambiguous, but with uncertain futures, they hadn’t made things clear.
He Fangzhi, who wasn’t talkative, finally said, “I have no ideas about the future. I’ll think about it after graduation. Lanqin, what about you?”

Zhao Yong then said, “Lanqin, why don’t I go back and talk to my dad? If he can bring another person into the company, it shouldn’t be a big problem. What do you think?”
