Chapter 559: Death Blesser
Anthony’s thoughts paused at the notification.
’Another reward?’ he couldn’t help but ask ntally. He was still in the process of testing the Authority of Severance, but now sothing else had stepped in unexpectedly.

Anthony stood motionless as he stared at the system notification. He didn’t even know where to start. So many rewards had landed on his lap, he had quite a few things to check out.
’It seems that seeing these threads awakened this new ability,’ Anthony thought.
’Let
finish with the Authority of Severance first,’ he added ntally. Although he could break all of these abilities into thought compartnts and process them simultaneously, Anthony chose not to.
Where was the fun in that?
It had been a long ti since he’d been rewarded like this. He needed to savor and enjoy every mont of it.
Anthony raised his hand. Mana danced, and ti particles gathered in response as Anthony cast a spell.

Ti particles spun gracefully around the shattered table fragnts, dancing with elegant precision. As if the clock were reversing itself, the fragnts reversed their motion and reassembled. The table returned to its original form, perfectly intact, as though nothing had happened at all.
Anthony fell into thought as he watched the process unfold.
’I guess that makes sense. If I simply wanted to wipe it out of existence to the point that even ti couldn’t restore it, I would’ve had to control a different thread,’ Anthony concluded.
He had wanted to test if sothing severed using the Authority of Severance could still be recovered.
’Or maybe, it could also be a lack of control on my part... Hmmm.’ Anthony considered once again.
Shaking his head to dismiss the speculation, Anthony redirected his focus toward himself. Many threads imdiately snaked out from his body, dozens, maybe hundreds. They looked like fine, glowing cords interwoven with his being. Anthony’s eyes swept across them all, analyzing.
He could see one of the threads labeled with his emotions.
His mind locked onto it, and instantly the thread began to unruffle, dividing into various smaller strands: happiness, sadness, hope, fear, and shock.
With a single thought, any or all of them could be cut off, and Anthony would beco an emotionless being in an instant. Or, he could simply sever the thread for sadness, and he would never experience sorrow again.
That might sound like a good thing on the surface, but what would he feel if he lost soone close to him? Would he be numb? Would it even be called living?
Anthony could tell he couldn’t sever emotions just yet. He lacked the necessary control, but he knew it was sothing he could train.
His glowing eyes followed other threads attached to his being: his lifespan, his height, his arm, his physical strength, his bloodline. Literally everything could be severed.
Anthony could even choose to sever his height, shrinking or extending himself at will.
’Literally anything and everything, huh?’ Anthony thought with a soft sigh.
He now understood the Authority of Severance far better than he did just monts ago. The possibilities were insane. He couldn’t wait to embark on a mission just so he could use the Authority in action.
’Let
check out the ability awakened within the All Seeing Eyes before I move on to the next reward. Since it’s connected to the Authority of Severance, it’s better to handle it now,’ Anthony thought.
[Death Blesser: The Host’s eyes have been blessed with death and can now bless others with death.
1. The Host can see the lifespans of every being, regardless of their power level or difference in rank.
2. The Host can choose to take away these lifespans, adding them to his own lifespan, while blessing the target with death, with nothing more than a simple stare and thought.
The amount of lifespan stolen is determined by the difference in power. Anything higher than the Host’s current limit will trigger a price: permanent mana consumption equivalent to the lifespan attempted]
As Anthony read this, a dangerous smirk ford on his face once again.
He could simply look at his enemies and they would drop dead, and their lifespan would be transferred directly to him, the killer.
Even if soone was so powerful that their lifespan couldn’t be taken directly, he could still take it, by paying a permanent price in mana equivalent to the value of the lifespan he wanted to steal.
But for Anthony, who possessed infinite mana, this restriction was utterly useless.
To soone else, paying that price could cause a permanent regression in mana rank. However, as long as Anthony didn’t draw the mana from his core, his rank would remain untouched.
Anthony’s smirk widened, his eyes flashing with cold light as he rembered the Second Supre Monarch, the vampire who had dared to demand a liter of his blood.
He hadn’t forgotten that parasite. Anthony would most definitely pull out every single one of his Vampire fangs when the ti ca.
’Too bad I have to actually look at my target in order to kill them,’ Anthony muttered in thought. If not for that limitation, he would have tested the Death Blesser ability on the Second Supre Monarch right now.
Anthony shook his head, brushing off the thought. He didn’t want his happiness to be ruined by thinking about such an annoying being.
His attention shifted again, this ti to the Perfect Human Bloodline.
Anthony rembered that during his ti in the Omni Peak Academy, his bloodline had gone from normal to High ranked without warning.
But now... it was Perfect ranked.
According to the information the system had given him at the ti, Human Bloodlines were ranked in the following order:
Low Human → High Human → Supre Human → Perfect Human → Primordial Human
’System, you know what to do.’ Anthony said in his mind.

1. The Host is now immune to all attacks from any Human that does not possess the Perfect Bloodline.
2. All Humans with bloodlines lower than the Perfect rank will obey the Host’s orders without hesitation, resistance, or any sense of disagreent. Even if told to commit suicide or kill their own family, they would comply without pause.
3. A single drop of the Host’s blood can elevate a Human from Low Human to High Human.
4. All of the Host’s offspring are automatically born as Perfect Humans.
5. A single drop of the Host’s High Human Bloodline is now considered an elixir for the Human race: capable of curing all diseases and healing any injury, as long as the target is Human.
6. The Host’s mana quantity and physique have been elevated as a result of the Perfect Bloodline]
Anthony simply stared, speechless, at the notification.
The sound of saliva going down his throat echoed in the room.
