Chapter 1116: Ability Orb
"Then I will wish for sothing else," Rider stated, imdiately moving on to the next thing on the list he had created a few minutes ago.
"I’m listening," Anthony spoke, clearly curious about what kind of absurd or perhaps unexpected wish Rider had managed to co up with this ti around.
"I want an ability that can manipulate probability, and possibly, I don’t want it like skill book skills where one can’t train it, I want to be able to improve and train mine as much as I can," Rider stated as a confident smile appeared on his face, clearly satisfied with the idea he had settled on after giving it considerable thought.
Anthony stayed silent for a mont, his gaze resting on Rider as he wondered what exactly Rider intended to use such a peculiar and potentially dangerous ability for, perhaps for placing bets or visiting casinos, bending luck in his favor in trivial matters, but Anthony already knew it wasn’t for such shallow or aningless purposes.
After thinking for a brief mont, Anthony simply shook his head slightly, deciding that it really didn’t matter what Rider chose to do with it, as that was not his concern, and so he effortlessly agreed to Rider’s wish without any hesitation.
"Sure, no problem," he stated plainly.
Anthony didn’t waste any ti on theatrics or unnecessary displays, instead he directly communicated with his OP system, and within re seconds a pure white orb materialized within his hand, radiating a faint yet profound aura.
Without missing a beat, he casually tossed it towards Rider with effortless ease. Rider scrambled to catch it as though he had never caught anything in his life before, but in truth, his reaction was born from sheer shock at how easily and quickly Anthony had fulfilled such a complex wish.
"To think you already have an ability like this on standby, damn," Bryan couldn’t help but comnt, his tone filled with amazent.
Anthony ignored him entirely as he spoke, "That’s an ability orb, crush it and you will gain the ability you wanted, but only do so when I’m gone."
Hearing Anthony’s words, Rider simply nodded as he held the orb carefully in his hand, not placing it into his space ring as though he wanted to admire it for as long as possible, savoring the mont.
Anthony rose to his feet with calm ease as he stretched lightly, his movents relaxed. He looked around at the devastation that surrounded them, then snapped his fingers, and imdiately everything seed to freeze in place, as though ti itself had been halted. The next mont, ti began to reverse its course, flowing backwards as the forest rapidly restored itself to its forr state before the battle had torn it apart. Ravines disappeared, chasms sealed themselves, molten grounds cooled and vanished.
The forest beca nothing but lush greenery and fresh, vibrant air that swirled gently around Anthony and his friends, who simply stood there watching in awe as everything returned to its original, untouched form, as though the battle had never occurred.
"I can’t exactly leave the forest like this," Anthony spoke before any of them could say anything.
He turned to them as they were already standing, their bodies fully restored, "I guess it’s ti to leave," a small smile appearing on his lips, "Bryan, Tiara, Bringer, Rider, it was nice eting the four of you again after so ti," he stated sincerely, as he had genuinely enjoyed the ti he spent with them, otherwise he wouldn’t have stayed for eleven whole days.
"It’s an honour, man, not everyone gets to hang out with you for a day, talk less of eleven days," Bryan replied with a wide smile as he stepped forward and dapped Anthony up with a firm handshake.
"I will miss you, man," Bringer said as he raised his hand for his own handshake, his tone carrying a hint of genuine emotion.
Anthony shook his hand as he replied, "Unfortunately I can’t say the sa, as that would be gay, wouldn’t it," he mused lightly, earning a round of laughter from the group.
He then turned to Tiara, who stepped forward for a hug, but Anthony stopped her midway as he spoke, "Even though you are a lady, you are limited to handshakes, I have a woman, I can’t go around hugging other won," he said as he extended his hand towards her instead.
Tiara shook her head as she laughed softly and accepted the handshake without complaint.
Anthony’s gaze then shifted to Rider, who smiled at him before speaking, "Although we might not be able to see each other again due to your Ascension, I will always rember this day, and also, thanks for the ability orb."
They both dapped each other up, their fingers snapping lightly as Anthony replied, "No need to thank , we’re friends, bruh, besides, I think we might all et again soon."
"Huh? Where? You aren’t ascending again?" Tiara asked with confusion.
"I’m ascending, but I’m talking about my wedding with my girlfriend, soon to be wife. When we beco engaged and pick a date for the wedding, I will send you invitation cards. Even if the wedding is held in the upper Galaxy, I will return and bring you there myself, or at least send soone, maybe my shadow soldiers or Spectre and the rest."
"HAHAHAHA!!! It seems we get to et again," Bringer replied with loud laughter.
"It seems so," Tiara added with a smile.
Anthony slowly began to levitate as he spoke, "Of course the wedding might not be anyti soon, but you guys should look forward to it, you might even et your wives and husband there, if you people are still single by then, that is, after all, it seems your single relationship status won’t be changing anyti soon."
Anthony smiled at them one last ti, but before any of them could respond, he shot into the sky, leaving behind a trail of sonic booms as his final words echoed through the air, "Goodbye, my friends, looking forward to our next et up."
Bryan, Rider, Tiara, and Bringer simply stood there, staring into the sky as though they could still see him lingering in the distance. Although they hadn’t gotten the final word, it didn’t matter, smiles slowly ford on their faces as Anthony’s presence had reminded them that monts like these, simple, shared experiences, were worth far more than they had ever realized.
"I guess it’s ti to crush this," Rider said as he looked at the orb once more before tightening his grip and crushing it without hesitation, all eyes imdiately turning towards him in anticipation and curiosity.
And with that, Anthony’s slice of life adventure with his friends had finally co to an end, leaving behind mories that would linger far longer than any battle ever could.
