Chapter 1087: Vampire Domain
"Well, since we are all done with the preparations, let’s get moving," Anthony suggested with a calm tone, his voice steady and composed as though everything ahead had already been decided in his mind.
Everyone nodded and rose to their feet; they gazed at the clouds once more, and slowly the sun was beginning to rise, as the first ray of light pierced through the lingering darkness, casting a faint glow across the sky.
With a re thought from Anthony, a portal opened beneath everyone’s feet, and they all dropped into the aircraft; the mont they appeared within the control room, Anthony paused for a mont before he spoke, "Let’s use Tiara’s aircraft; I don’t have ti to be stopped for security clearance and unnecessary formalities because we are using the Titan Royal Family aircraft," he suggested, his tone practical and unbothered.
Everyone agreed, and they all transferred to Tiara’s aircraft, while the bodyguards that were present transferred to Bringer’s aircraft without hesitation.
"Set course for the Vampire Domain," Tiara ordered her aircraft’s AI, her voice calm but carrying an underlying seriousness.
"Affirmative," the chanical AI voice echoed through the control room, "Arriving at destination in an hour."
The aircraft humd as power coursed through its body before it shot forward in a zipping blur, tearing through the skies as it sped toward the Vampire Domain with remarkable velocity.
The group continued with their casual talks, each of them seemingly unbothered about whatever was about to happen... well, not everyone was entirely unbothered. Tiara wasn’t exactly calm, although she tried to be; her thoughts were occupied as her imagination spiraled out of control, creating scenarios she couldn’t easily dismiss.
"You are overthinking this a lot," Bryan stated as he shook his head, his tone lightly dismissive but not unkind.
"Easy for you to say; you aren’t in my shoes," Tiara replied with a sigh, her expression reflecting the weight of her thoughts.
Rider shook his head as he spoke, "You are with Anthony; what’s there to be worried about? Besides, has it occurred to you that he could probably kill the Blood Queen and possibly many more Vampires with the sa thod he used against Drake Bloodmoon?" Rider asked with a calm smile, as though he could already envision the entire scenario playing out before him.
Tiara frowned for a mont, her brows slightly furrowed, "That’s probably true, but it might not be that easy, as the Blood Queen is also an Apexus Mana Ranker," she stated, her tone cautious and grounded.
"Hey, Anthony, what if you kill an insane number of Vampires and people stop referring to you as a God and instead start calling you a tyrant or sothing?" Bringer asked as he turned his gaze toward Anthony, curiosity evident in his expression.
Anthony shook his head with a mild, almost indifferent smile, "I never cared about their thoughts of
being a God; they are all entitled to their opinions, but what matters is whether I care about their opinions or not," Anthony stated indifferently. "Besides, other races are always on guard against one another; other races might simply thank
instead of calling
a tyrant or anything of that sort," he added with mild amusent.
"Well... that’s true," Bringer stated after a brief mont of silence, as though reluctantly conceding the point.
Ti flew by as minutes passed and their discussion continued, filled with light conversation and occasional banter, but soon, the AI voice cut cleanly through their exchange.
"Approaching destination in two minutes," the chanical AI intoned.
The aircraft humd steadily across the sky as it approached the Vampire Domain; they didn’t go through any clearance or security, as the aircraft bore the unmistakable crest of the Vampire Royal Bloodline, granting it unquestioned access.
Anthony rose from his seat and walked toward the transparent windows, his eyes fixed on the scene below as the aircraft’s speed reduced considerably to avoid sending shockwaves and blast waves through the Domain.
Below, various Vampires could be seen moving about, each of them possessing the sa pale complexion, their vampiric fangs fully visible, as that was part of their identity. So bore blood-red wings or night-black wings and soared gracefully through the air, their movents elegant yet predatory.
Although Anthony was within the aircraft, he could still perceive the faint yet unmistakable tallic scent of iron in the air... which ant blood, sothing entirely expected, as Vampires cherished blood above all else.
Unlike in the fantasy stories and movies from Anthony’s previous world, where Vampires were unable to consu anything other than blood, that wasn’t entirely accurate in Blue Planet. Here, Vampires could eat at, rice, cake, ice cream, or whatever they desired... but at the end of the day, blood provided sothing those foods simply could not replicate.
"I have to say, the Vampire Domain is indeed beautiful," Anthony comnted as he subtly reduced the radius of his Sense Do; otherwise, he wouldn’t need to explore visually, as his Sense Do would feed him every piece of information about the Domain without requiring movent.
His sky-blue eyes shifted upward, and there, a massive red cloud churned ominously, yet Anthony understood that this was precisely the aesthetic the Vampires preferred. With his All-Seeing Eyes, he had already analyzed that these were originally normal white clouds, which the Vampire Domain had altered using special techniques, turning them red. When rain fell, instead of being clear and colorless, it descended as a crimson drizzle, as though blood itself were raining from the heavens.
They had altered even the most fundantal aspects of nature to suit their Domain. Anthony was certain that if it were possible, these Vampires would have made the sun blood-red as well, unfortunately, the entire Blue Planet shared a single sun.
Well... the Vampire Domain could simply relocate to another planet, and one of their Apexus Mana Rankers would only need to find a blood-red sun, and then everything would be perfectly aligned with their preferences.
"Impressive," Anthony stated as his gaze shifted away from the red sky above him, his tone carrying a hint of acknowledgnt.
’I wonder what blood tastes like,’ Anthony couldn’t help but think as curiosity briefly surfaced within him. Now that he was in the Vampire Domain, the thought arose naturally, but of course, he had no intention of actually drinking blood; it was nothing more than a fleeting curiosity.
"We are almost at the Blood Castle," Tiara stated as she glanced ahead at the massive structure looming in the distance.
Anthony turned away from the window, his attention shifting as he walked toward Tiara and the others, who were already focused on the approaching castle.
"It’s huge," Bringer spoke, his voice filled with mild astonishnt.
"Obviously it is; this is the residence of a Ruler of a Domain. Having a small estate would be no different from an insult to their authority," Rider stated, as though he were pointing out sothing entirely self-evident.
