Chapter 983: Chapter 985: Coming to Pick You Up
The woman thought to herself, but a faint smile hung on her face. She stepped forward, leaning beside Chu Ge, as a light scent of perfu wafted over.
She raised her hand, her soft and delicate fingers slowly resting on Chu Ge’s chest. She looked up, her eyes shimring slightly.
“Mr. Chu, it’s okay if you don’t rember , as long as you rember now.”
The woman painted with bright red lips curled up slightly. She said to Chu Ge, “Let

Chu Ge seed to have guessed sothing, and it appeared that the Xiahou Family Head was where this woman went to complain.
Suddenly, Liu Yeye’s hand slowly slipped inside Chu Ge’s shirt.
Chu Ge gently dodged her touch, turning aside, “Miss, if you have sothing to say, just say it directly.”
Chu Ge’s voice was cold, as if pushing people a thousand miles away.
Liu Yeye pursed her lips, “Mr. Chu, why so cold? You look quite bored being alone. Why not keep
company and dance a bit?”
Saying this, Liu Yeye stepped forward again, trying to get close to Chu Ge.
Chu Ge once again deftly avoided her, his gaze cold as he glared at Liu Yeye, “Miss, we are not acquainted. Please respect yourself!”

Mu Bingtong caught sight of him, smiled slightly, and then, after nodding apologetically to those around her, made her way out of the crowd.
“Why are you coming down so soon?”
Mu Bingtong asked curiously.
Chu Ge smiled, “Nothing much. Just ca to see you.”
Mu Bingtong nodded, “Such parties have nothing interesting or fun. If you feel bored, you don’t need to stay here with . Just go about your own business.”
Mu Bingtong continued, “I still have to have a conversation with a few executives about contracts. Due to the financial crisis, many company contracts have been put on hold. Now is a great opportunity to win them over. I want to…”
Chu Ge raised his hand to stop Mu Bingtong from continuing. He smiled and said, “I understand, you don’t have to worry about . Just focus on your work. Besides, I’m perfectly capable of taking care of myself.”

Huo Tianqian didn’t know Chu Ge had gone to the party; he was curious about the Crystal Jade, so he ca over without even having dinner after finishing his work.
Regarding the array inside the manor, Huo Tianqian had seen it more than once. Chu Ge had even taught him how to use these arrays.

One of them he recognized was Zhang Ze. Ha, just as Chu Ge had predicted, the guy really ca to steal the Crystal Jade.
Huo Tianqian sneered. Thankfully, the array was there; otherwise, they might have succeeded.
However, Huo Tianqian couldn’t understand why Zhang Ze had co persistently all the way from the Capital City to Shanghai, perhaps just for the Crystal Jade?

With that thought, Chu Ge put down his chopsticks, stood up, and prepared to return to the manor.
Then he thought of sothing and glanced around the hall, looking for Mu Bingtong.
Chu Ge quickly spotted Mu Bingtong, who was talking with several company executives.
So of those people had heard a little about the relationship between Chu Ge and Mu Bingtong. This crisis had been a heavy blow to them.
Thankfully, Chu Ge tily intervened to rescue them, finding investnts from the Capital City. Although the upper echelons provided so support, through today’s eting, they were filled with disappointnt and resentnt toward the upper managent.
Instead, they felt grateful towards Chu Ge.
Now, with Mu Bingtong seeking to discuss cooperation, they naturally wanted to use this opportunity to cozy up to her.

“But haven’t you been drinking? It’s settled then. If I’m not done by then, I’ll send soone to pick you up.”
