Chapter 672: Chapter 674: In Front of Xu Yingying
Lin Fei noticed that this floor seed to be the office area, with dozens of workstations divided into four large zones, along with a few separate offices.
A young man in formal attire was directing movers and decorators.
As the man saw Lin Fei, he approached with a smile and reached out his hand, “If I’m not mistaken, you must be Mr. Lin Fei, or perhaps I should address you as Mr. Luo.”
“It’s . And you are?”
The man hurriedly introduced himself, “My na is Liu Wenxin, assigned by Director Mu to assist you, Mr. Luo.”
After that, Liu Wenxin’s gaze shifted to Yun Chuyao, “Mr. Luo, who is this lady?”
“My newly hired secretary.”
Liu Wenxin nodded with a smile and began introducing the company to Lin Fei.
“This here is the central office area, divided into four departnts. The reception is downstairs; in addition to the reception, there are a few smaller departnts downstairs. Your office and the developnt departnt are located upstairs.”
“Are all three floors ours?”
“Yes.”
“What’s the progress of the company?”
“The facilities can be completed today. Once the company’s registration docunts are approved, we can officially start operations.”
“What about the staff?”
“Director Mu has given so advice on that. If you find it botherso, Mr. Luo, I can take care of everything on your behalf.”
Thinking this was just as well to save himself the trouble, Lin Fei ntioned to Liu Wenxin, “Miss Yun will be acting as my personal secretary, and I already have a candidate for the developnt departnt manager. You can arrange the rest as you see fit.”
“Understood, Mr. Luo.”
Liu Wenxin then took Lin Fei on a tour of the place. Lin Fei felt like the company he started for fun was actually shaping up to be sothing impressive.
Upon arriving at his office, Lin Fei was rather surprised; his office was even more luxurious than Mu Shanshan’s.
Sitting in the boss’s chair, Lin Fei straightened the general manager naplate that symbolized his position, and playfully asked Yun Chuyao, “Chuyao, do I look like a general manager?”
Hearing Lin Fei’s words, Yun Chuyao covered her mouth to stifle a laugh and replied, “Yes.”
After joking around with each other, they left the office. Having checked the remaining places, Lin Fei felt it was about ti to leave. He bid farewell to Liu Wenxin and departed the company with Yun Chuyao.
Lin Fei didn’t return to the Hyatt Hotel. He planned to go directly to Yun Chuyao’s ho for dinner, but since it was still early, he decided to take a drive with Yun Chuyao to the suburban areas.
During the drive, Lin Fei found a spot with a pleasant view and parked the car by the roadside, taking Yun Chuyao for a walk amid the green mountains and waters.
Though this scenery couldn’t compare to Crescent Lake, it was quite delightful.
Green mountains and clear waters, birds chirping and flowers fragrant, a gentle breeze blowing, the evening sky aglow.
They stayed there for over two hours. As dusk approached, they drove back to Lijing Midtown.
Yun Chuyao prepared a simple al to treat Lin Fei.
The two enjoyed their dinner, and after the al, Lin Fei bade Yun Chuyao farewell and returned to the Rongjing Garden villa.
…
As Lin Fei drove into the villa’s courtyard, he spotted a familiar car—Mu Shaopeng’s Ferrari.
Really odd, why has Mu Shaopeng co? Could it be he was really chastised by Mu Tiansheng and is here to apologize?
Curious, Lin Fei quickly parked his car and entered the house.
In the living room, Aunt Fang had just served tea to Mu Shanshan and Mu Shaopeng. It seed Mu Shaopeng had just arrived.
Mu Shaopeng was sitting with his legs crossed, his pompous deanor suggesting to Lin Fei that he must have encountered so great fortune.
Seeing Lin Fei’s return, Aunt Fang imdiately said, “Son-in-law, please take a seat. I’ll pour you a cup of tea.”
“No trouble, thank you, Aunt Fang,” Lin Fei replied, then took a seat next to Mu Shanshan. Noticing that Mu Shanshan seed disinclined to entertain Mu Shaopeng, he asked on her behalf, “What brings you here—to seek death?”
“I’m here for you—I can’t be bothered to waste words with a freeloader like you!” Mu Shaopeng snorted coldly, then smiled and said, “I ca mainly to congratulate you. Your Hyatt International Hotel managed to turn a crisis into an opportunity, which I must admit I admire.”
It appeared that Mu Shaopeng had indeed co to provoke them.
Understanding the situation, Lin Fei was very curious about who had given Mu Shaopeng such boldness.
The plot to defa the Hyatt Hotel had failed, the assassination attempt on Mu Shanshan had failed, and even his own father wasn’t on his side. What could possibly make Mu Shaopeng so arrogant in front of Lin Fei and Mu Shanshan?
“If you ca just to say that, you have truly spared no effort. If there’s nothing else, you may leave now,” Mu Shanshan stated coldly, issuing an eviction order.
