outright, but would you really have the heart to do that when I'm so cute?" Zheng Yanyan said, pouting her lips and winking playfully at Zhou Yuwen.
Zhou Yuwen didn't respond. Everything that happened on stage only lasted a few minutes. The situation was simple: a guy and a girl sang a duet, and then the guy's girlfriend ca up to give him flowers and a kiss. Nothing too scandalous.

But one person was truly elated.
Li Qiang, feeling down after returning with Chang Hao, had to listen to Chang Hao boast endlessly about being Zheng Yanyan's boyfriend. Li Qiang found it incredibly annoying, thinking, You have no sha. Chang Hao then went on about Lu Lin as if Li Qiang wasn't there.

"Pretty much," Li Qiang said. Given her looks and background, he figured Zhou Yuwen would end up dating Shen Yu, even though it was a pity for Lu Lin.
As they chatted, they noticed a tall girl wearing a pink sweatshirt and pleated skirt walking onto the stage with a bouquet. The dim lighting in the audience made it difficult to see clearly, but Jiang Chao imdiately recognized the girl's long, pale legs accentuated by mid-calf socks as Zheng Yanyan.
"Hey, isn't that Chang Hao's girlfriend?"
"His girlfriend? That's nonsense. She never agreed to date him," Li Qiang scoffed.
Jiang Chao chuckled. "Yeah, I thought so too. It doesn't seem likely."
As they continued talking, they saw Zheng Yanyan walk onto the stage. She positioned herself in front of Zhou Yuwen and partially blocked the audience's view of him. Zhou Yuwen was taller than her, so his head was still visible.
Then, they saw Zheng Yanyan stand on her tiptoes.
Li Qiang froze for a mont, and then his face turned red.
"What the heck! What's going on? Isn't that the girl Chang Hao likes? Why is she kissing Zhou Yuwen?" Jiang Chao quickly asked Li Qiang.
But when he turned around, he realized Li Qiang was already gone.
"Bro, are you okay?"
anwhile, at the back of the crowd, so guys noticed that Chang Hao's expression seed off, so they asked him cautiously.
Chang Hao squinted, staring at the stage for a long ti. The stage was a bit far away from his position, and the lighting wasn't great. He mumbled to himself, "It must be..."
"Must be what?" one of the guys asked.
"Must be the lighting," Chang Hao muttered again.
He kept trying to convince himself that it couldn't be what it looked like. How could Zheng Yanyan kiss Zhou Yuwen? She didn't even like him, right? Right?
"No way, bro. Is she really your girlfriend? I'm hearing people say she's the girlfriend of the guy on stage," one of the guys said.
"That's impossible," Chang Hao shook his head. "They're not dating."
While Chang Hao was still struggling to understand the situation, a loud voice suddenly rang out from the crowd: "Brother Hao!"
It was Li Qiang, who ca running out, his face flushed with excitent. He was visibly agitated as he searched for Chang Hao.
"Brother Hao! Did you see it?! Did you see it?! Zheng Yanyan just kissed Zhou Yuwen!"
"The girl you like, Zheng Yanyan, she just kissed Zhou Yuwen right in front of everyone!"
"Brother Hao, look!"
At this mont, Li Qiang seed to release all the frustration he had built up over the past few days. He rushed over to Chang Hao, tugging on his arm excitedly. "Brother Hao! Can you see it? Looking down at Li Qiang, Chang Hao's face was contempt-filled. "You country bumpkin! You hick!"
With that, Chang Hao stord off the field.
Li Qiang sat on the ground, watching Chang Hao's retreating figure. His eyes narrowed, but he said nothing.
"Hey, you okay, man?"
So of the onlookers didn't understand what was happening, but they were kind enough to help Li Qiang brush the dirt off his clothes.
Li Qiang shook his head and said he was fine.
Soone asked curiously, "Hey, what's up with your friend? Didn't he say she was his girlfriend?"
Li Qiang sneered, "You believed his bullshit? If she were really his girlfriend, would she be kissing soone else?"
