For the first university mixer, both the boys and the girls went all out. Even Li Qiang wore his only branded Adidas outfit. It had been five or six days since the start of school, and this was the first ti they saw him in sothing decent.
The two dorms agreed to et at the school gate. Besides Li Qiang and Chang Hao, who were dressed quite flamboyantly, Zhou Yuwen and Lu Yuhang wore more ordinary clothes. The latter two walked at the back, while Li Qiang and Chang Hao eagerly led the way.
Li Qiang said, "Brother Hao, you and Brother Zhou have to help
find a girlfriend this ti!"

pursue Shen Yu!"
"Oh, that. No problem, leave it to ."

Having reached an agreent, they arrived at the school gate. Su Qing and her roommates, each with their unique beauty, had dressed up specially for the occasion and were already attracting the attention of many boys.
Even before Chang Hao arrived, so boys had already asked Zheng Yanyan for her contact information. It wasn't that Zheng Yanyan was the prettiest among the four girls, but she certainly knew how to dress up. Tall and slim, she wore a white cropped tank top with a matching sun-protection jacket, paired with dark denim shorts that hugged her thighs. Her slender legs in white mid-calf socks captivated many. The sun-protection jacket was open, and the tank top served as a tube top, revealing her slender waist. The loose waistband of her denim shorts curved naturally from her navel, accentuating her waistline even more.
Compared to Zheng Yanyan, the other three girls' outfits seed less striking. Su Qing, a designer, had a good sense of style and wore a white off-shoulder chiffon blouse with black shorts and white sneakers, looking neat and capable. Shen Yu dressed more girlishly in a round-neck knit top with a black pinafore dress.
As for the last roommate, Zhou Yuwen didn't know her well, hadn't seen her much in his previous life, and rarely heard Su Qing ntion her. He knew her na was Lu Lin, and she had a slim, tall figure similar to Zheng Yanyan's. However, unlike Zheng Yanyan's flashy personality, Lu Lin was more reserved, dressed entirely in black. She wore a fitted black T-shirt with an oversized utility jacket and black slim-fit jeans. Her legs, like Zheng Yanyan's, were long and thin, but the flared black jeans made them look even longer. She also wore a black baseball cap, making her appear low-key and introverted.
Eight people t at the school gate. Seeing Chang Hao, Zheng Yanyan couldn't help but complain, "Why are you so late?"
"We're not late. Didn't we agree on six o'clock?"
"Don't you know to co five minutes early?"
"Ah? Oh, sorry, sorry! I apologize for keeping you beautiful ladies waiting."
Chang Hao apologized with a sheepish grin. After introducing themselves, most of them already knew each other, so they didn't need much introduction. Zhou Yuwen did take a second look at Lu Lin. Under her baseball cap, her face appeared small. She just smiled slightly and nodded, showing she wasn't interested in socializing and seed a bit impatient with the gathering.
After introductions, they headed to Toronto Seafood Buffet, which wasn't far from the school, so they decided to walk. On the way, Zheng Yanyan complained to Chang Hao, "It'd be great if you had a car. We wouldn't have to walk."
Chang Hao felt a bit awkward, "I just started college. Even if I were to buy a car, it would take a couple of years."
"Didn't you say you could borrow your uncle's car?"
Chang Hao didn't expect her to rember his boast and scratched his head, "Another ti, I promise."
"Hmph, always bragging!" Zheng Yanyan scoffed. Despite her complaints, since Chang Hao was treating everyone to dinner, she was sowhat polite to him.
Su Qing had planned to act aloof when eting Zhou Yuwen again, to avoid always clinging to him. However, after a while, seeing Zhou Yuwen talking to Shen Yu, she felt a sense of urgency and hurriedly joined the conversation.
"Zhou Yuwen, why haven't you been to military training these past few days?" Su Qing squeezed between Shen Yu and Zhou Yuwen, pushing Shen Yu aside.
Zhou Yuwen replied, "I had sothing to do, that's all."
"Are you writing a novel?" Su Qing asked, looking at him.
Zhou Yuwen was taken aback, wondering if she had discovered his secret. But seeing her curious eyes, he realized she was just guessing and smiled, "Why do you always think I'm writing a novel? Do you really believe I'm an author?"
"Because..." Su Qing hesitated, unsure what to say.
"Because I think you write well. If you wrote a novel, you'd be a great author," she finally said.
Seeing the determination in her eyes, Zhou Yuwen felt a bit shy and nodded, "Oh, really? Thank you for believing in ."
He had just had a brief conversation with Shen Yu about whether she had joined the student council. Shen Yu was surprised, wondering how Zhou Yuwen knew she had been recruited even though club recruitnt hadn't started yet. Before they could talk further, Su Qing had interrupted.
Li Qiang saw his chance and joined in, "You are Shen Yu, right?"
"Ah?" Shen Yu didn't rember him.
Li Qiang grinned, "I'm Li Qiang. We t once before."
"Oh," Shen Yu said thoughtfully, trying to recall.
"You wear Adidas too," Li Qiang pointed out, looking at her shoes.
Shen Yu glanced at her white sneakers and smiled politely. Li Qiang ntioned his clothes were also Adidas.
"We should be a couple's outfit!" he joked.
Shen Yu looked at his T-shirt and laughed, "Yours is Adi King. We're not wearing the sa brand."
