Zhou Yuwen was lying on the sofa when Su Qing made herself comfortable by climbing right onto him. Her fair legs peeked out from beneath her fishtail skirt, wrapped snugly in soft, cotton mid-calf socks, looking irresistibly cute.
Zhou Yuwen leaned back as Su Qing leaned forward, ending up sprawled on top of him entirely. Her small feet swung playfully in the air as she grinned.
“Hey, Big Sister, what are you doing? Didn’t you co here to talk business?” Zhou Yuwen asked. “Why does it feel like we’re talking about sothing entirely different now?”
Ignoring his question, Su Qing wrapped her arms around his neck. From this angle, her head was slightly above his, and her camisole barely covered the top half of her chest. From a distance, it might have seed innocent, but up close, everything was clear—snow-white skin that would turn anyone’s head.
Although she wasn’t as full-figured as Tao Tian, she had a slightly larger chest than Zheng Yanyan.
Pinning Zhou Yuwen in place, Su Qing smirked and teased, “Admit it, have you missed ?”
Zhou Yuwen sighed and tilted himself sideways, dragging Su Qing along as they both collapsed into the couch.
“Ah!” Su Qing yelped as her nose pressed into Zhou Yuwen’s chest, her hands instinctively reaching out to steady herself. But once she realized her position, her hands began wandering.
“Hey! You pervy woman! Stop touching !” Zhou Yuwen exclaid.
“Wow, Zhou Yuwen! You’ve got abs now? Where were these when we were married? I told you to work out back then, but you kept saying you didn’t have ti. Now look at you!” Su Qing complained, giving his abs a playful pinch.
“Because back then, I was busy cooking for you every day. How would I have ti for the gym?” Zhou Yuwen replied with exasperation. “Also, let
clarify—I didn’t get these abs after being reborn. I got them after our divorce. You just didn’t know about it.”
Su Qing puffed up her cheeks in mock anger. “Unbelievable! That little brat Yanyan got to enjoy what was supposed to be mine! My own husband—and I didn’t even get the chance to appreciate him properly!”
As she grumbled, her cold hands slipped under Zhou Yuwen’s shirt, making him shiver.
“Stop! Your hands are freezing!” Zhou Yuwen protested.
“Let
warm them up! You used to let
do this all the ti,” Su Qing said.
Back when they were students, Su Qing’s hands were always cold in the winter, and Zhou Yuwen used to let her tuck them into his pockets for warmth. Even though money was tight, he’d spend eight yuan every day to buy her hot milk tea to keep her warm.
As Su Qing reminisced, her teasing grew bolder. She tilted her camisole slightly off her shoulder, exposing her creamy skin.
Zhou Yuwen groaned, “Alright, alright, I get it. Can you stop now? I have a girlfriend, and if I need warmth, I’ll go to Yanyan.”
That was the final straw for Su Qing. Rolling her eyes, she gave Zhou Yuwen a light kick on the leg, her skirt riding up slightly to reveal her smooth, pale thighs.
“You’re impossible!” she huffed. “I ca here to help you, and this is how you treat ?”
“Then talk! What’s the matter?” Zhou Yuwen asked.
“I’ll tell you... if you kiss ,” Su Qing said with a playful smile.
Zhou Yuwen sighed. “I can’t betray Yanyan.”
“Fine! If you’re going to act like this, I’m leaving!” Su Qing threatened, sitting up.
“Then go ahead. I’m just being loyal to my girlfriend, just as I was loyal to you back when we were together. Treat others as you wish to be treated,” Zhou Yuwen replied, his tone serious.
“You’re such a hypocrite!” Su Qing exclaid. “You’re mine, Zhou Yuwen! We’ve already been married. You’re mine in life, in death, and in every tiline! Everyone else is just passing through. I’m the only one ant to be with you!”
“And do you know why we’re the only two who were reborn?” Su Qing asked.
“Why?” Zhou Yuwen replied.
“Because even the heavens know we’re destined to be together!” Su Qing declared. Before Zhou Yuwen could react, she leaned in and kissed him.
Caught off guard, Zhou Yuwen had no choice but to respond. Despite his protests, he couldn’t deny her skill. The kiss was warm, soft, and lingering.
When they finally broke apart, Su Qing laughed, her face flushed with satisfaction. “Sweet,” she said, licking her lips playfully.
“You’re unbelievable,” Zhou Yuwen muttered.
“Who else am I supposed to act like this with, if not my husband?” Su Qing retorted cheekily.
Finally, she got to the point. “Are you really not worried about Tao Tian’s antics? The entire campus is buzzing about how she and her friends are boycotting you, and your gigs are falling apart. What’s your plan?”
Zhou Yuwen shrugged. “Let them talk. I never cared much for these gigs anyway. They’re more trouble than they’re worth.”
“Seriously? You’re giving up just like that?” Su Qing asked, frustrated.
“It’s not worth the hassle,” Zhou Yuwen replied simply.
Su Qing frowned. “Let
take over Tao Tian’s part of the business. I’ll handle it my way.”
“And how will you do that?” Zhou Yuwen asked.
Su Qing didn’t answer directly but picked up her phone and called Chen Wan.
“Wan Jie, can you round up 20 girls for tomorrow? Minimum height of 170 cm, preferably with event experience,” Su Qing said confidently.
After wrapping up the call, Su Qing stretched out lazily on the sofa, her camisole slipping slightly off her shoulder. “So? What do you think? Am I aweso or what? Co on, praise !”
Zhou Yuwen chuckled. “The sun must really have risen in the west for you to co up with sothing this clever.”
“Zhou Yuwen, what do you an by that? I’m a strong businesswoman, okay!” Su Qing exclaid, giving his leg a playful kick.
Zhou Yuwen caught her thigh and grinned mischievously. “Oh? A strong businesswoman? Let
check—what’s different about you?”
“Ah! Zhou Yuwen, you scoundrel! What are you doing?!” Su Qing cried out, laughing and protesting at the sa ti.
