"They're truly pitiful people."

"I apologize, High Priest. I will make sure to educate them separately later."

Lord Aberdeen promised

that he would educate the sisters very thoroughly. I prayed that the sisters would survive the harsh training. It'd be a bit of a sha if they died just for screaming at . Don't they say that if you live long enough, your day in the sun will surely co? Surely, they too will have a chance to find a new life.

We passed the human iron cages and reached a point midway between the human slave cages and the beastfolk slave cages. Elsi was standing there. Elsi. She greeted us with sharp, upturned eyes, tightly pressed lips, and wearing hot pants that bared her midriff. Firm abs, tanned skin, twitching cat ears, and short, black hair cut in a bob.

She was the very picture of a sexy-looking cat rogue. I checked Elsi's status window.

"Elsi. You have a visitor."

"Visitor? I don't know them. I don't have human visitors."

For now, I requested that Lord Aberdeen leave us. With stats like that, she wasn't at a level I couldn't beat. Stabbing Spree was a stat only useful when I had nurical superiority; in this situation, I could unilaterally beat the shit out of Elsi.

Lord Aberdeen said.

"Then, have your talk and co out. Elsi. He's an important guest, so be careful not to hurt him."

"I can tell just by looking. And this man is stronger than . Like you."

Since it crossed my mind, I checked Lord Aberdeen's stats.

He was fucking stronger than I thought. I guess you have to be that strong to go on a rampage against the beastfolk. As I was admiringly watching Lord Aberdeen's back, Elsi spoke to

again. Her voice was blunt and emotionally restrained.

"So, cleric. What's your business? I don't know anyone like you."

First, I took out the heart necklace that Amori had and showed it to her. Upon seeing the necklace, Elsi made a very subtle expression and asked

back.

"Why are you showing

a necklace from the Church of Love?"

"Church of Love?"

"You don't know? I thought a cleric would, but it's a religion that calls for slave emancipation. They liberate beastfolk like us from slave hunters and either send us back to our hotowns or make us their believers."

"There was a religion like that?"

It was the first I'd heard of it. It seed to be a religion only famous in this eastern region. Since the Archdeity Church basically didn't interfere much with other religious activities, each region had one or two of these small religious groups.

"Right. There is such a religion. If you were curious about the necklace, is that explanation enough? I'm going back to work now, cleric."

"Why didn't you join the Church of Love?"

"The Church of Love isn't allowed into the Aberdeen Territory."

Of course, a territory with the largest slave market in the east wouldn't permit such a thing. From what I'd heard, it didn't seem like they bought and liberated slaves like I did, either. I thought it was a good thing I hadn't shown the necklace to Lord Aberdeen.

"Actually, this necklace was held by your mother."

"My mom?"

At the word 'mom,' Elsi showed a noticeably agitated expression. Beastfolk have very strong familial love and camaraderie. She couldn't help but show emotional agitation at the word 'family'. I said.

"Her na was Amori, I heard..."

"What happened to my mom? Did she join the Church of Love? You're not a cleric from the Church of Love, so how do you know my mom? Are you perhaps from the Church of Love's..."

"Your mother is dead."

At those words, Elsi shut her mouth. Her lips trembled and the rims of her eyes turned red. Struggling as if to hold back tears, she bowed her head and took a deep breath. It seed she didn't want to cry in front of . After a long while of composing herself, her shoulders trembling, she spoke.

"How did she die."

"I discovered her after she escaped to my territory. I tried my best to save Amori, but it was already too late. Amori died leaving

with the words to look after you."

"Look after. ?"

Elsi had a puzzled expression. I said.

"I've co to liberate you, Elsi."

"I can't go alone."

"I know. The people you care about... I heard you have three friends from the sa tribe. I'll liberate all of them as well."

"Why would you go that far?"

Elsi asked with a puzzled expression. The reason was simple. To fuck Elsi. But I couldn't say that, so I said this instead.

"Because I made a promise to your mother."

"With my mom... I understand."

Elsi nodded her head. And so, the deal was struck. Basically, a cleric of the Archdeity Church could not trade slaves. So I had to call the High Priest of the Eastern Archdeity Church and get authorization for this. When I said I intended to purchase the slaves for the purpose of 'liberation,' the High Priest permitted the sale on the condition that he would be present at the purchase and that the slave trading docunts would be burned on the spot.

And so, with Lord Aberdeen and the Eastern High Priest attending as witnesses, I was able to purchase four beastfolk slaves, including Elsi, on the condition that I would make the paynt in my territory. Of course, the slave docunts were discarded imdiately upon purchase, and the disappointnt on Lord Aberdeen's face was evident.

When the shackles and chains around her neck were removed, Elsi seed awkward. She was caressing the area around her neck and looking at her surroundings. But the gentle wagging of her tail showed she was in a very good mood.

"This is strange."

Lord Aberdeen said.

"Don't co attacking the area around our territory anymore."

"We can't help it if we need to hunt."

"When you people run rampant, it draws wild animals to the territory. And don't insist that human lands are your territory."

"Humans are strong. There's no way they can't beat a wild boar. And that land is our land."

Lord Aberdeen shook his head, then looked at

and said.

"High Priest Lusius. If Elsi or the other beastfolk here are captured as slaves after fighting us in the Eastern Plains, I will not liberate them then. Do you understand?"

"Yes. I understand."

It didn't matter to

either way. I had definitely freed them as promised. The conflict between beastfolk and humans in the Eastern Plains region was not a problem I could solve on my own. For them to coexist, there were many things that had to be given up.

"Elsi. So, will you return to the Eastern Plains like this?"

"I don't know."

Elsi had spoken strongly to Lord Aberdeen, but it seed she still had a lot on her mind. As she was conflicted, one of the beastfolk she had been protecting shouted.

"Big Sister Elsi is going back to the plains with us! Because we are the Marimba Tribe!"

Was he in his early twenties, maybe? He was a young man who still had a youthful air about him. Frankly, he looked so unpleasant that it was like looking at a man cosplaying with animal ears from a gay manga. The mont I saw him, I unconsciously furrowed my brow.

"Roy. Be quiet."

Elsi shut Roy's mouth. Roy was looking back and forth between Elsi and

with a face full of dissatisfaction. I had no idea what the reason was, but Roy looked extrely dissatisfied. I made a proposal to Elsi.

"Do you not have a sense of belonging to your tribe?"

"I don't know. I've already lost, and a defeated warrior is not worthy of the Marimba Tribe. Honestly, I don't know how I could face them and go back."

"The Tribal Chief will be happy if we all go back together! Elsi! Let's go back!"

Roy shouted at Elsi in an urgent tone. He was clearly wary of Elsi following . My ears hurt every ti he shouted, so I scowled. I ignored Roy's shout and made my proposal to Elsi.

"Elsi. Then, won't you co to my territory? Of course, the choice is yours. It's fine if you go back to the plains, but I would be very happy if you ca to my territory. I won't make you a slave, and I'll provide room and board. Your mother's tomb is in my territory, you see."

"Elsi! You can't trust a human! Let's go to the Marimba Tribe!"

Roy shouted once again. Befitting his young age, his voice had a childishness to it that was very unpleasant to hear. Have you ever seen a man with cat ears speaking in a whining tone? I could dare say that what I saw was a very unpleasant sight. Elsi also frowned and said.

"Roy. You keep making annoying noise. It's getting irritating, so be quiet. Cleric. Is it okay for the other beastfolk here to go too?"

"I don't mind. I will guarantee their social standing."

"What about you all? To be honest, since my mom's tomb is also in this cleric's territory, I want to go there. I won't stop you if you return to your hotowns, and it should be fine if you follow ."

The other beastfolk all looked like they wanted to go to their hotowns. Elsi seed a little disappointed. Roy still hadn't decided. He glared at , then said to Elsi.

" too! I'm going too!"

"Are you sure? Roy. You said you wanted to go to your hotown."

"I have to protect Big Sister Elsi!"

"I don't know who's protecting whom."

Elsi said, shaking her head. I didn't like the idea of a guy who looked like a Queer Festival participant entering my territory, but I didn't show it. In fact, it wasn't bad. Because I was confident. Even at a glance, Roy was weaker than , looked gay, and was an unlikable male character who was just stubborn.

Just you watch your beloved older sister get toyed with in the hands of the large-penised lord. NTR is bad, but NTL is a matter of preference.
