Upon hearing the question, Qin Chu was immediately at a loss for words. He looked up at Huo Mian for help, but the latter replied helplessly, “They’ve been like that since they began to talk… always making me choose between the two. Answering ‘both’ is not an option.”

“Can I choose not to answer this question?”

“Why not?” Pudding asked curiously.

“Because if I pick one, the other will be sad… You’re both my daughters, and I want both of you to be happy. I really can’t choose one or the other.”

“Fine… if you put it that way, then I’ll let you off the hook for now.”

To Huo Mian’s surprise, Qin Chu managed to get Pudding to leave him alone!

What a miracle…

“Daddy, you made all this yourself, didn’t you?” Pudding asked, taking a bite out of a sausage link.

“How did you know, Pudding?” Qin Chu asked with surprise.

“Because when the chefs make sausages, they always sprinkle a lot of black pepper, which I don’t like. But the sausages today are perfectly seasoned… Mommy doesn’t like sausages, so she never makes us any. So, it must’ve been you…”

Qin Chu and Huo Mian glanced at each other, their expressions filled with disbelief – how could a three-year-old’s reasoning ability be so good?

“You’re absolutely right, I made everything myself. Do you like it?” Qin Chu picked up a piece of napkin and wiped the oil off the corner of Pudding’s mouth, his expression filled with adoration.

“Daddy, me too…” Little Bean picked up a glass of milk and took a sip, purposely leaving milk on the corner of her lips. Then, she stuck out her tongue, waiting for Qin Chu to wipe her mouth.

Qin Chu smiled as he tilted his head, patiently wiping Little Bean’s mouth.

Huo Mian had only dreamed of the scene in front of her… At that moment, she really thought she was going to die of happiness.

“Honey, do you want to e to the pany with me after breakfast?”

“Nope,” Qin Chu refused almost immediately.

“Why not?”

“Because I want to stay home with the girls.”

“Um, you’re the president of HQ… Is it okay for you not to drop by your branch pany when you’re already in town?”

“Nothing’s as important as spending time with my daughters. You should go to work, Honey. I’ll take care of the kids, do laundry, and wipe the floors. I just want to be a stay-at-home dad.”

“Haha…” Huo Mian couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

Pudding immediately reminded, “Mommy, can you laugh like a lady? You’re going to scare daddy away…”

“He doesn’t have the gut to… If he runs away again, I’m going to… I’m going to…”

“You’re going to what?” Qin Chu laughed, purposely teasing her.

“If you run away from me again, I’m going to marry Su Yu and take Pudding and Little Bean with me!”

“Mommy, you can’t make our Handsome Su take the blame for your fight with Daddy!” Little Bean immediately took Su Yu’s side, and so did Pudding. “She’s right, Mommy, don’t shoot poor Handsome Su in the foot, and inflict him with you and daddy’s flirting…”

Huo Mian: “…”

“See? Remember what the girls said…” Qin Chu said proudly.

Huo Mian smiled. “I feel like the twins have betrayed me, they’re in enemy grounds already, aren’t they?”

– Huo Corporation –

Huo Siqian didn’t sleep at all the night before, and he felt extremely restless. He had just vented his anger out during the morning meeting and was now sitting inside his office with a grim expression on his face.

“Sir, what should we do now that Qin Chu’s back?” his subordinate carefully asked.
