Just then, a man, who appeared to be no older than thirty, slowly erged into their line of sight.
The man walked very slowly, each step seemingly taking trendous effort.
It turned out that both of the man’s legs were prosthetics.
Trailing behind the man were five others, each visibly carrying disabilities.
One leaned on a crutch, another was blind, and so had lost both hands.
The most severely disabled was seated in a wheelchair.
Both his hands and feet were stumps—he had no limbs at all.
They walked very slowly, taking several minutes just to position themselves between Gui Sang and Wang Dadong.
No one knew who they were or why they had appeared there.
“Do us a favor, and grant the leader a bit more ti,” the man with prosthetic legs said.
