Chapter 91: The House Visit
Wednesday’s finally here.
"Okay, everyone shut up for a mont," Andy said with his arms raised as he stood in front of the class. "We’ll be discussing the school festival, and what kind of booth we’ll do. I suggest we do sothing easy so that everyone could enjoy every mont of our last high school festival." He said with a smile.
Soone raised a hand making Andy point at that person. "I suggest we do an exhibition." It was Ryzen.
"What will we exhibit?"
Ryzen shrugged. "Arts? Talents? I don’t know, I’m just suggesting." He said with a smile.
If we do an exhibition, it’ll give us more free ti to roam around the school grounds. "What about a café?" Carla suggested while blushing because Ryzen was looking at her.
"If we do a café, we’ll mostly work here in the classroom and our breaks are limited," Maris said. "I agree with the exhibition, but I don’t know what to exhibit either." She said. What can we exhibit anyway except for Ryzen’s artworks? He’s really good and with all of his art, I think we can go with that.
We had brainstord for a long ti since Andy really wants everyone to be able to enjoy the school festival to the fullest. "Then why don’t we just exhibit Ryzen’s talent with arts?" Ace said. "Not only Ryzen but also our other classmates who have talents to showcase. I don’t know since I don’t have any talent to showcase to everyone, but I think the exhibition’s a great idea."
Andy considered that and asked everyone about their thoughts. It doesn’t really matter to
what we do since all I want to do is roam around and enjoy the school festival. I actually want to try Ericka’s class booth. She said they’ll be doing a cosplay café which I find interesting. "What does Noelle want to do?" All eyes were on
after Andy asked that. ’Why ?’
"I’m fine with anything, though."
Andy raised an eyebrow. "Then Noelle will be representing our class for the beauty contest. Would that be fine for everyone?" My eyes widened as I stood up. "You said anything’s fine, right?" I wasn’t even talking about that; I was talking about our class’s booth!
"I think Noelle’s really pretty so she could win that," Carla said with a proud look on her face, and I didn’t know why our classmates agreed with her. ’Is this the new type of bullying? Cause if it is, should I apologize to them so that they’ll stop bullying ?’
"I second that." Ace raised her hand. W-Why is she saying that too? "But if anyone wants to join, they should say it now. Don’t say it later when we already decided to go with Noelle and start bullying her." Ace’s tone was terrifying as it beca far colder than her first words. Hearing her warn everyone like that makes
happy.
"Do you hate the idea of joining that contest?" Ace asked
making everyone wait for my response.
I-I an, I don’t really hate it but I don’t have the confidence that I’ll win it for sure. ’But if they want
to do it... how will I reject?’
"If no one wants to do it then I’ll do it," I said as I look down. "But the other students might say that I’m being selfish."
"Who cares about what they say?" Maris cut
off. "We all want you to represent our class, isn’t that right?" She looked at everyone and they all agreed. ’Why? Why would they agree? Don’t they all hate
because I’m an attention seeker and my uniform’s in a different color?’
I’m not tall and pretty, unlike those others that join beauty contests. And I’m not smart either, so how will I do that right?
"See? No one hates you here." Ace whispered to my ear making
blush. "Okay, but we’re still stuck with the idea for our booth." She said causing the others to groan.
"Let’s just do the exhibition. I have training."
" too! I’ll draw if you want
to draw so let’s just do the exhibition."
That’s how we all decided to make an exhibition of our drawings since our adviser is also the art teacher. Even though so of us aren’t good at drawing, this will showcase Ryzen’s talent since artists are underrated. Everyone knows how much Ryzen works hard with his art, but gets little recognition.
So guests can also try drawing with Ryzen and learn from him, that’s how we’ll gain money and try to win the best booth competition since Ryzen wanted it too. "It seems like I’m the main character this way," Ryzen said while scratching his cheek.
"Don’t you like being the main character?" Andy rolled his eyes after he finished listing what we all need for the classroom’s decorations. "You’ve always been good at entertaining people so might as well use it for our own good." He added making Ryzen laugh.
"Why does it sounds like you hate ?"
I tried to hide my smile after Ryzen asked that while laughing. "Stop smiling," Andy said after seeing my expression
"I’m not."
Andy sighed as he went to Ace and they talked about student council things. "Am I even allowed to join that beauty contest?" I asked Kaoru since it might cause too much attention on
and it’ll anger Night that’s for sure.
"Why not?" Kaoru asked back. "The lady’s beautiful, there’s no one that could enter here except for you." He said with a low voice making
grimace. ? Beautiful? I know I am a little pretty, but not the prettiest so I don’t understand why they’re exaggerating things.
"That’s not what I ant." I sighed. There’s no point arguing about it, I guess I’ll do it and I’ll try my hardest not to embarrass myself and our class.
After class cos the house visitation Andy and Ace were planning. "Are you guys sure about this?" I asked them while we were on our way to the parking lot.
"I am more than sure." Ace said with no expression. Sotis it scares
to think about what’s going on inside her head when she shows no expression like that.
Andy wrapped his arm around Ace and my shoulders. "Don’t be scared. We’re right here by your side." I’m not scared to be alone! Honestly, I’m more scared that they’re with
because I can’t control the situation at all. What if Andy or Ace says sothing that could offend Night? Or Night might say sothing offensive to my friends. No! It’s not even might! I’m sure that Night will say sothing offensive even if he doesn’t an to. That’s just how he is.
He’s a naturally an person!
"I already warned you. Don’t bla
for the outco."
Ace smiled causing
to feel chills all over my spine. "Don’t worry. I won’t bla you." She said. Now I’m really scared of what she’s planning. ’I don’t think it’ll be good. Ace isn’t fond of Night since the beginning and it scares .’ "Where’s the car anyway?"
I pointed to the car waiting for us while Kaoru followed us from behind. "You sure that’s safe right?" Andy whispered to my ear and I just sighed.
I’m not even sure if it’s Asahi or Kenji who’s going to drive for us today since Asahi said that he might not be able to drive us ho because he has sothing to do, but he wasn’t sure about it and told
just in case.
As soon as we arrived near the car, the car door opened and Kenji ca out. "Hi there, milady." He greeted
with a smile. "And milady’s friends." Kenji then turned to my friends and smiled at them. It feels like it’s been so long since I last saw Kenji and he’s being all smiley towards my friends, it’s creeping
out.
"My na is Kenji and I’ll be accompanying everyone to the mansion."
Why is Kenji smiling too much?
When the three of us entered the car, I felt Andy nudging my arm. "Who’s this hot guy?" He whispered to my ear which made my forehead crease. ’Hot guy?’
"Who are you talking about?"
Andy widened his eyes at . "Shhh, keep it down." He said as he pointed to Kenji who was driving with a smile on his face. I know he can hear us from his seat that’s why he’s smiling like that.
"He already introduced himself, didn’t he? He’s Kenji."
"Not that. I an what is he to Night?"
I saw Kenji’s gaze from the rear mirror. "I am the young master’s attendant," Kenji answered with that annoying smile causing Andy to feel embarrassed.
"Don’t tell
you’re interested in that—" Andy imdiately covered Ace’s mouth before she could finish what she was saying.
I know that Andy likes eye candy n, I have known that since we were younger. That makes
wonder. "Why did you not end up liking Night?" I asked Andy causing him to grimace. "Do you hate him?"
Andy shook his head. "I don’t hate Night. I just don’t want to like soone you’re obsessed over. And he’s not my type." He said as he gulped as if nervous. "I’m more into smiley and kind n." He muttered the word ’n’ just enough for
to hear.
I chuckled and Ace sighed. Andy’s still trying to hide from Kaoru that he’s gay even though I don’t think Kaoru cares too much. ’He’s actually clueless to lots of things and I think that’s better for him.’
"We have arrived, young lady," Kenji said as he stopped the car. "Master Makoto found out about your friends so he must be waiting for you with lady Shiho." He added.
Well, shoot. I want to avoid my friends eting Makoto the most because he’s annoying and too noisy. "I’ll bring my friends to my room so help
avoid him," I told Kenji.
Kenji chuckled. "Yes, young lady."
