Chapter 89: No More Secrets
"You’re what?"
Andy gulped. "I’m... actually... gay."
"Was that a secret?"
Andy’s eyebrows furrowed. He was too stunned to speak after Ace said that. It took him a while before he could speak without stuttering. "What do you an? I’ve been trying to hide it for almost years now."
I looked at Ace and she was also confused. "I’ve known it since we were children," I said.
"How did you know? Even my parents don’t know!"
Ace chuckled. "I think they know. Everyone knows." Andy’s eyes were wide open while he was staring at us. "I know how you used to have a crush on our teacher when we were in middle school. Rember that long-haired teacher with glasses? The good-looking one."
Andy gasped. "Oh my god, really? I’ve been trying to hide it so hard."
"I know you liked boys since we were in kindergarten. Rember when you used to fancy Ryzen?" Andy’s eyes went wide open. "Do you rember? You would always follow Ryzen around and your eyes were filled with hearts."
"Stop! It’s disgusting." Andy grimaced which made
laugh. It was the truth, though. He was always following Ryzen around and that’s how we beca close to Ryzen. Because Andy would always want him to be with us. But I guess his feelings for Ryzen vanished after elentary school. "Just rembering that I liked that guy makes
want to puke."
The three of us laughed. "But it’s the truth, I am gay."

Andy sighed. "Do you accept it?"
Ace raised an eyebrow. "Of course. And even if other people don’t accept it, you shouldn’t care about them. The most important thing is that you’re happy." She said as she patted Andy’s shoulder.
"I can’t believe you guys all know! I’ve been trying to hide it because I was afraid that you guys might hate ." Andy said with a relieved expression. "And Ellie! How co you didn’t tell
that you knew already?"
I shrugged. "How am I supposed to know if it’s okay to tell it or not?"
"You have a point."
"Enough of that. We accept all of you, Andrei." Ace said as she looked at . "But what I cannot simply accept is the fact that Noelle’s married to Night Fuentes." She said which made Andy agree and I’m the one on the hot seat again.
"Let us et him and know if he’s good enough."
"What do you an good enough? It’s a temporary marriage." I said while letting out an awkward laugh. "And I’m the one needing his help anyway, so it doesn’t matter."
Ace raised an eyebrow. "How will we make sure that he won’t do anything bad towards you while in that temporary marriage?"

when we weren’t married yet. "It’s not like that. We need to fool his family too so we’re acting fine."
It didn’t make Ace stop. "I’m not talking about how you act in front of his family. It’s how he acts in front of you when it’s just the two of you." She said.
"He warned
about not telling you guys so he might get angry."
"Who cares about what he thinks?" Ace said which made my eyes go wide.
"That’s right! You don’t have training this Wednesday right? We’ll go with you after the planning for the school festival." Andy said with excitent. ’I don’t think it’ll end well.’ But I didn’t dare to stop them as it was what Ace wanted. The lunch breaks continued and we talked about our situations, making each other know all about ourselves. "So, Kaoru isn’t your father’s friend’s son?" I nodded with that.
"And he’s your bodyguard?"
I nodded again. "That’s why he can’t leave my side."
"Are you sure he’s capable? He looks far weaker than ." Ace said with her arms crossed. "Are you sure he can protect you?" That made
think about the situation I went through with El. Do I have to tell them? No, I should. I already said no more secrets.
"Actually I still have things I haven’t told you guys."
When I was about to start talking about everything that happened to , the sound of the bell ringing made
halt. "I guess I’ll continue this talk later," I said as I looked at Ace. "Are we good now?"
"Yeah, after all that crying you did."
My smile grew wide as I went to Ace for a hug while Andy hugged us too. After that, we went back to the classroom since we’ll be having a eting with Miss Valencia. I think it’s about the school festival, but I’m not sure since this is the first day back to school after the sester break.
"The final exams will be in February so don’t be too relaxed." Miss Valencia reminded us as she inford us about the school festival’s dates and events. Although Andy will discuss it further.
"Are you going to train for today?" Ace asked while putting her things in her bag.
"Yeah. What about you? Do you have a shift on that place today?"
"Yeah."
It was a little awkward after that because I beca silent, but Ace patted my head. "Don’t worry." She said and after that, she bid
goodbye. Now I’m being greeted by everyone with a good morning and a goodbye every day. ’Maybe it’s because Carla and Maris started doing it after the school trip.’
"Have a nice training, and be careful," Carla told
before she left the classroom.
"Looks like you gained lots of friends now." I looked at Ryzen after he said that. "You’ve beco friendly." He said which made
scoff. He’s the friendly one.
"Noelle! Let’s go." Ericka ca and called my na. "I’ve been waiting."
I bid Ryzen goodbye and went towards Ericka. "Did you wait long?"
"Not really. I just want to say that." She giggled as she clung to my arm. "So, what’s up?" We didn’t have a morning training today that’s why I didn’t et Ericka.
I smiled. "Nothing much."
Ericka raised an eyebrow. "What’s this? It’s like you beco your usual self again. You’re all smiley now." She said which made
unable to stop smiling. Being able to reconcile with Ace made
feel far better than usual. "Did sothing good happen with Night or El?"
What’s with that? "No, I’m just happy to et my friends again," I said which is the truth. "It feels like forever since I last bonded with them." We told each other our worries, and they said that they’re always here for
and that they’ll keep my secret, that’s for sure. ’I’m so glad because I’ve been dying inside because of this for the last few days.’
"I’m just glad that you’re happy again," Ericka said with a smile. "It feels weird whenever you’re not smiling. It’s like you’re not Noelle anymore." Hearing that made
feel weird. If I don’t smile, I’m not like myself anymore?
I guess people have a certain description of . "I hope I could continue smiling like this." But all the stress I get from Night and my situation aren’t helping at all. "For that to happen, I must relieve myself from all the stress I’ve been going through." I smiled at Ericka and she nodded.
"We need to win the semifinals then we need to win the finals to get into the championship. And we must beco the champion!" Ericka said.
My sole purpose before was to get extra grades, but now it feels like it’ll be such a waste to not beco the champions. ’I want to win. My whole body’s telling
that I must win.’ As soon as we arrived at the indoor pool my forehead creased due to the commotion that was happening. "What’s going on?" I asked while looking at the bleachers where the first years were staring at.
"Oh my, isn’t that your prince?" Ericka nudged
as she pointed to the bleachers. ’Prince? Who is she calling a prince?’ I shook my head as I walked toward the locker area. "You’re just going to ignore him? Maybe he’s here for you."
I shook my head. "Not a chance. I’m over him." Now that my friends know my secret, there’s no need for
to pretend that I like Night. I’m finally free! "Honestly, I’ve been over him for a while now, and the only thing I want to do right now is to focus on swimming and graduate.
"Whoa, really?"
Why does Ericka sounds like what I’ve said is unbelievable? "Really." I changed into my swimsuit and went out of the locker room, but this ti was more chaotic than before we entered the locker room. "What’s going on this ti?" I asked as I looked at the bleachers and saw Night standing in front of another man. It was like they were talking so I squinted to figure out who the other guy was.
"Oh, isn’t that your friend?" I turned to Ericka after she pointed her finger at the other man. "I rember his na is El."

My eyes widen as I dropped my towel and rushed towards where the two of them are. ’Please don’t add more problems to my life.’
