Chapter 671: A New Erase

Watching the series of changes happening to Altaria, Terrance turned his gaze to Xerneas. He didn’t even need to think, and knew that all of this was Xerneas’s doing. After canceling the gravity field around Altaria and flicking over a fruit it had created that could restore its status condition, Xerneas t Terrance’s gaze.

"You’ve arrived, human."

"We et again, Xerneas... and Altaria."

Terrance looked at the now-conscious Altaria, surprised in his heart. It had only been a month, yet Altaria’s changes were far greater than he had imagined!

Although he didn’t know what kind of training Xerneas had put Altaria through, Terrance could clearly feel that Altaria’s strength had undergone a significant transformation!

As Xerneas’s gaze swept toward Terrance, it also noticed the Ice Vulpix in his arms.

"Fairy power?"

"Yes, this child has a hidden Fairy-type within. It will erge after evolution."

Terrance responded.

"Its training ti is only one-third of the way through. You’ve co too early."

One-third...

Terrance paused for a mont. After a period of training, had Xerneas already calculated how long Altaria’s training would take...

Three months isn’t really that long.

Looking at Altaria, Terrance gave it an encouraging glance. From the scene just now, Terrance could tell that Altaria must have gone through a lot over the past month.

"Xerneas, there’s one more thing," Terrance said. "It’s about the drop of life water you gave ."

Ever since Terrance handed over the life water to Fujiki a month ago, he had been keeping an eye on the updates from Albus’s side.

The life water did indeed have an effect. Albus’s condition began to gradually improve after coming into contact with it. At least in terms of vitality, he had recovered to a level not far from that of a normal person.

That alone could already be considered a dical miracle.

However, Albus still hadn’t woken up.

Though the life force he had drained through excessive use of Aura power had been restored, there was still no sign of him waking up.

The doctors’ response was to wait....just keep waiting. There was nothing more they could do.

They had tried having Lucario use Aura to communicate with Albus and also had a psychic user attempt to awaken him through Telepathy, but neither had any effect.

So, taking the chance while returning to see Altaria, Terrance planned to ask Xerneas.

Since the life water ca from Xerneas, perhaps it might know sothing.

However, Xerneas’s reply disappointed Terrance.

"From here on, it’s up to that human himself."

"I see..."

Hearing the sa answer as the doctors gave, Terrance couldn’t help but feel a little helpless. It seed Albus had entered a vegetative state. But compared to his previous condition, this was already a considerable improvent.

At the very least, in this state, there was still a chance he might recover.

"Xerneas..."

In the end, while looking at Xerneas, Terrance asked, "Can I see the results of Altaria’s training?"

Facing Terrance’s request, Xerneas casually nodded, then walked off to a corner, lay down, and closed its eyes, seemingly intending not to interfere with Altaria and Terrance’s interaction.

Terrance breathed a sigh of relief. Xerneas really did have a nice personality.

Now given a chance to spend ti with Altaria, Terrance, along with Rotom Pokédex and Ice Vulpix, approached Altaria.

In order to quickly understand Altaria’s training progress, Terrance began directly communicating with Altaria through the Rotom Pokédex.

This past month, Altaria’s training primarily focused on the use of Fairy energy and its willpower.

According to Xerneas, to master Fairy Aura perfectly, these two aspects are essential foundations. Only after Altaria completes the basic training would it be qualified to proceed to the next stage of training.

After a month, Altaria had only just about reached the level of finishing its foundational training.

"Just mastered the move ’Dazzling Gleam,’ huh..." Terrance nodded after receiving Altaria’s report.

Compared to a month ago, Altaria’s body had beco much stronger. This made Terrance think of its training just now, was it the willpower being tempered in the gravity field?

If that’s the case... it certainly could also temper Altaria’s physique.

The healing fruit that Xerneas had created seed to be highly effective. With that kind of support, Altaria could train at maximum efficiency. It was no wonder it had improved so rapidly.

This level of treatnt was truly terrifying. Even with access to a Pokémon Center, even with Pokémon doctors, nurses, and breeders providing full-ti care, it still wouldn’t compare to Xerneas’s abilities.

Imdiately after, under Altaria’s signal, Terrance perford ga Evolution with it.

ga Altaria descended, and Fairy Aura instantly enveloped its body!

"You can already make basic use of it?" Terrance asked.

Altaria nodded, then signaled Ice Vulpix to attack it using the move Blizzard.

Although Terrance didn’t understand Altaria’s intention, he and Ice Vulpix followed through anyway.

Little Vulpix leapt off to a distance, seriously locking eyes with ga Altaria. Naturally, it understood the vast power gap between itself and Altaria, so it unleashed its full strength without pressure.

Whoosh!!

A dazzling Blizzard filled with glittering ice crystals surged forth, like a blue-white galaxy streaking toward ga Altaria.

Within the Blizzard, the ice crystals wove together and spiraled continuously, creating a very unique structure that made the Blizzard look even more breathtaking.

Terrance wasn’t surprised. Little Vulpix is quite talented in coordination skills. While the altered structure of the Blizzard didn’t increase its power, it did make the move travel faster through the air.

However, in the next mont, as Altaria let out a soft cry, the energy of Fairy Aura surged into it, and the Blizzard was instantly erased, vanishing into nothingness as though it had never existed. In its place, a faint pink glow shimred, marking where the Blizzard had just been...

"Erase..." Terrance murmured softly.

This technique was built upon Altaria’s natural racial abilities, combined with the moves "Growl" and "Mirror Move," and honed through long-term training.

As Altaria’s strength rapidly increased, the Erase Technique had seen fewer appearances due to its heavy limitations. But today, Terrance was astonished to discover that after Altaria infused a trace of Fairy energy into its cry, it then used Fairy Aura to control that energy, greatly increasing the Erase Technique’s efficiency. It had dispelled Ice Vulpix’s Blizzard at virtually no cost.

This change sparked in Terrance a sudden urge to test the true limits of ga Altaria.
