Chapter 583: Mismagius’ Terrifying Domain!
Within the amusent park, in the darkness, eerie shadows moved continuously.
In such an environnt, a Mismagius floated quietly around an ancient castle, looking around.
“Mism~agius” Mismagius gazed indifferently at the constantly moving auras nearby and let out a piercing shriek.
Its cries reached the ears of the Ghost-type Pokémon sneaking in from all directions, acting like a beacon in the night and making these Pokémon even more restless.
With burning anticipation, several Ghost-type Pokémon crept closer, preparing to ambush Mismagius.
A Haunter was the first to act. Its eyes locked onto Mismagius with “an Look,” while a “Confuse Ray” shimred from its gaze, shooting straight toward Mismagius.
Bzzz~~
The strange light arrived in a flash, circling around Mismagius. Haunter and the surrounding Ghost-type Pokémon no longer kept hiding and launched an attack on Mismagius all at once, hoping to claim this point, but what followed sent chills through their bodies.
Mismagius still floated there with indifference, as if Haunter’s disruptive assault had no effect at all. The next mont, Mismagius’s cry echoed once again, growing louder and louder until it beca deafening, as if roaring through the heavens.
Imdiately after, the Ghost-type Pokémon that had gathered around felt as if they were being pulled into another dinsion. In this endless dark space that twisted and turned, they beca dizzy and disoriented, completely losing their sense of direction. But that wasn’t the most terrifying part; what truly drove them to despair was the intense waves of hypnosis that constantly gnawed at their already crumbling consciousness. Under the baptism of three psychic attacks, they were on the brink of ntal collapse.
In the minds of many of the Pokémon, the figure of Mismagius appeared—imnse in size, emanating a terrifying malice and releasing endless waves of fear. Just the sight of this figure filled them with dread, their faces frozen in horror.
Run!
Even though they were trapped in this chaotic and dark space, even though they were overwheld by a powerful drowsiness, nothing could suppress their instinct to flee from such a terrifying sight. They had never seen such a terrifying figure before.
Unfortunately, as these Ghost-type Pokémon tried to escape, the enormous figure of Mismagius didn’t even glance at them. Instead, powerful fear emotions surged directly into their hearts, completely shattering their psychological defenses. One by one, they lost consciousness and collapsed.
Bang… bang… bang…
Bang… bang…
The sight of several Ghost-type Pokémon falling and crashing to the ground had the most imdiate and visceral impact on the people who had witnessed the entire scene. They looked at each other in confusion, as a chill crept over their bodies.
What… just happened?
“What happened?” Fantina, who had also been fortunate enough to witness the scene, asked aloud. Her scalp tingled with numbness. That Mismagius in the screen had only floated there quietly, let out a few cries, and in the next mont, several Ghost-type Pokémon were forced to reveal themselves, collapsing to the ground one after another, losing consciousness.
What horrified Fantina the most was that each of those fainted Pokémon looked as though they had seen sothing truly terrifying. Even though it wasn’t entirely clear, she could vaguely see the helpless, terrified, and despairing expressions on their faces.
This situation… sent a shiver down the spines of all the Trainers who had seen Mismagius in action.
They hadn’t even seen how Mismagius made its move. It had rely chanted a couple of incantations—didn’t even move its body—and it had already caused several Ghost-type Pokémon to lose all resistance and collapse in utter despair?!
This is…
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
In the next instant, several figures fled in a hurry. These were the Pokémon who had managed to keep their wits about them and hadn’t rushed in too close. After seeing this scene, they were all filled with dread and had no desire to face this terrifyingly powerful Mismagius.
Facing an opponent like this, without even knowing how you lost consciousness… that’s not sothing any Pokémon would want to experience.
Especially after seeing the frightened expressions on the faces of those who had fallen; it only made them more determined not to face it.
However… although they wanted to run, Mismagius clearly didn’t intend to give them that chance. Its soft incantation suddenly transford into a sharp, piercing sonic wave with trendous penetrating power that swept across the entire area. The Pokémon who heard it simultaneously lost control of their body. Forget running, even maintaining balance beca incredibly difficult.
Mismagius slowly floated past, gliding overhead in the direction the fleeing Pokémon had tried to escape.
Facing the tense expressions of the Ghost-type Pokémon below, it didn’t even glance at them, just silently drifted past.
In the next mont, those Pokémon collapsed as well, falling into a deep sleep.
In an instant, nearly ten Pokémon had been wiped out, but Mismagius’s expression didn’t change in the slightest.
Its performance instantly silenced the people watching in front of their screens. Compared to the deceit, ambushes, and hidden maneuvers between Ghost-types in other areas, the situation here… was practically a one-sided massacre!
Absolute suppression!
The disparity was like the difference between heaven and earth!
“Not good.” Fantina had watched the entire performance of Terrance’s Mismagius, and her heart sank. Even though she was reluctant to admit it… under the rules of this event, Terrance’s Mismagius was an absolute overpowering force compared to hers. Her own Mismagius, when faced with that terrifying illusion skill, would have difficulty even resisting.
“This strength…” Morty’s Gengar was currently using Will-O-Wisp to burn its opponent. Watching its opponent roll on the ground wailing, Gengar’s smile grew even more sinister, but before it could bask in its pride for long, a spine-chilling aura descended over the area.
After quickly crushing the consciousness of the Pokémon it had been toying with, Gengar grew alert, as if facing a formidable enemy, and looked up at the sky.
There was a Mismagius cloaked in darkness, as if it were a demon king descending from another dinsion, its entire body bathed in a terrifying aura that sent chills down one’s spine and filled hearts with dread.
Mismagius, with its aura and power fully unleashed, could directly transmit the imnse fear energy it had absorbed on Nightmare Island to its opponent through the most straightforward ntal illusion skill. Those without firm willpower would almost instantly be scared out of their minds.
“This…” Morty clenched his teeth. He too had seen the terrifying display of Mismagius’s strength…
Gengar had t a formidable opponent.
“With such unreasonable illusion powers, I’m afraid none of the Ghost-type Pokémon in the entire amusent park are a match for it,” Fantina gulped, her face showing helplessness. Thinking about her arranged battle with Terrance, she felt a tightness in her chest. At this rate, the event might turn into nothing more than a massacre show starring Terrance’s Mismagius.
“Does even Hoenn’s Elite Four Phoebe’s Pokemon possess this level of illusion powers?!” Fantina deeply doubted it. She couldn’t understand how Terrance had raised this Mismagius.
