Chapter 12: Young examinees
Breeder Headquarters, Building 1, 2nd Floor, Room 203 –
It was the location of Terrance and the others’ exam.
Terrance and others had spent a night resting at the hotel and were feeling quite refreshed.

Terrance and Little June looked up at the door number and walked in with their examination information.

Terrance was sowhat surprised. He hadn’t expected a Joy to be the invigilator, as she was from the sa family as Little June. However, the Joy family was widespread, so there might not necessarily be any connection between them.
Using the last ten minutes, Bell Joy quieted down the classroom and explained the exam rules in detail.
The rules were quite common, and most people who ca for the exam understood them to so extent.
Moreover, because it was the exam for Junior Breeder, the difficulty and process were quite simple.

For the first part of the exam, as long as you scored 60 points, you would be able to proceed to the next part. Those who didn’t reach 60 points would be considered to have failed the exam.

After carefully skimming over the exam paper, Terrance began answering the questions.
For example, the first question was about the Pokémon Poochyena.
The question assessed the nature of Poochyena, and it could be considered an easy question. There were four options for the multiple-choice question: A) Stubborn, B) Aggressive, C) Sharp, and D) Timid.
Without hesitation, Terrance quickly chose option A.
All four options made so sense, but the most suitable one was option A.
Poochyena, this Pokémon, often showed its fierce fangs to intimidate others, but at the sa ti, it would tuck its tail and run away when faced with retaliation. Also, they have a very keen sense of sll. If you don’t have a deep understanding, examinees are likely to get confused as early as the first question.
In fact, the most prominent trait of Poochyena is its stubbornness.
They would imdiately bite anything that moved and would continue the chase until their prey was exhausted. They would persistently pursue fleeing opponents. Once they targeted a prey, they would chase it until it was exhausted.
Compared to other traits, this particular aspect stands out significantly. To answer the first question correctly, one must not only have a comprehensive understanding of Poochyena but also be able to distinguish the primary and secondary aspects of their temperant and traits.

At first glance, this might be considered a very simple question. So might feel lucky and confidently write down “Take Down” or “Psychic Power.” However, generally, such surface-level answers tend to be incomplete or incorrect.
Beldum’s body is magnetized, and it uses magnetic force to move, communicate, and control its attacks. It is said to have a connection with Magnemite, but Beldum’s magnetic force primarily focuses on Psychic-type moves rather than Steel-type moves. In battle, Beldum’s capabilities are quite limited, as it can only use Take Down when not taught any other moves.
Perhaps so have seen the rare Beldum and observed their fighting style closely, then it is not difficult to notice that they only use the move “Take Down.” So naturally, so might confidently fill in “Take Down” for this question.
Another approach would be to consider Beldum’s types, Steel and Psychic. Steel-type is difficult to explain, but Psychic, on the other hand, is naturally associated with the basic ans of controlling their own movents.
Therefore, very few people can answer “magnetic force” correctly. These questions are designed to weed out examinees who are trying to take advantage of uncertainty.
After writing the word “magnetic force,” Terrance continued with the questions.
One, two, three… Terrance’s accumulated knowledge from his daily efforts effortlessly manifested during the exam. He answered swiftly and with ease.
