Chapter 99: Chapter 99 Siege, Siege! (Combined Chapter)

[This Chapter has been revised]

"Woo—"

The sky was overcast, and the piercing sound of the horn echoed along the city walls. As the urgent calls mixed with the howls of the Monsters, everyone on the walls tensed.

"They’re going to climb the walls! Bring out the explosive barrels, quick, throw the explosive barrels!"

The Undead army sward towards the city walls like mad ants, quickly piling up layers of white bones. The city guards, in a flurry, threw down barrels of explosives.

A continuous series of explosions roared, dirt and bone fragnts flew, and the ladders the Undead had built were destroyed in an instant.

However, before the guards could cheer, more Monsters surged like a tide, forcing them to throw even more explosives.

"The quality of the fight is too low," the rcenaries scoffed at the guards.

Despite being reduced to a little over fifty, the mages of the Light Eagle Group had long since begun chanting Magic.

In this chaotic battle, wide-range Magic was undoubtedly the strongest weapon.

A flash of blue light, and a Magic Barrier that covered this section of the wall rose, firmly blocking the Undead outside the walls.

The mages, chanting together for a long ti, finally unleashed the King Tier Magic [teor Fire Rain]!

Far from the walls, the sky suddenly filled with several whirlpools of molten lava. Droplets of lava, each the size of a human head, poured down like torrential rain, wildly reaping the lives of Monsters.

The goal was to cut off the Monster Tide, so that they could focus on clearing the Undead. If Priests were here, the cleanup efficiency could be greatly improved, but alas, the support from the Holy Light Church had not yet arrived.

So, the mages once again joined forces to unleash an amplified [Quicksand Technique] under the walls, letting the stacked skeleton monsters flow into the ground below, with remarkable effect.

The mages who rushed to the aid were also casting colorful Magic, all with one goal—to prevent the Monsters from reaching the top of the walls.

Compared to Bed City’s guards, it turned out that the rcenaries had more experience in defending the walls, with clear roles and responsibilities for each unit.

But ultimately, there were Monsters who braved the lava and charged through the rain of fire, like the Flying Dragon Yakir.

"Watch out for Flying Dragons!"

Just after releasing the King Tier Magic, the mages, not yet recovered, forced themselves to sustain the Magic Barrier, just to resist the Dragon Fla.

"Roar—"

Flying Dragon Yakir roared, charging towards the wall, aiming to beco the master of table clearing.

Just then, a tiny figure leaped high into the air and, as if self-taught, used a Combat Skill strikingly similar to Lion Slash. The greatsword, carrying an irresistible montum, smashed heavily onto Yakir’s skull!

Both the figure and the dragon crashed into the Monster Tide below the walls, collapsing a white bone ladder in the process.

A single human and dragon entangled in battle amidst an array of Monsters.

Truly deserving of the title Hero Elsa, what bravery.

Her fighting figure instantly inspired the soldiers defending the city. As if filled with new strength, everyone fought even harder.

And at that mont, accompanied by a resounding "Purge the heretics!
